We stayed at the Paisano do decided to eat dinner in. Wedge salad was cold and tasty. Fries were crispy and delicious. Burger was fine, nothing special. Chicken fried steak could feed two people and was good.

Everything was amazing! We have stayed at El Capitan a few months prior, but Hotel Paisano takes it up a notch and is more classy. From the food to the shops and service, this was a perfect stay to a perfect experience.

We were staying at the Hotel Paisano in Marfa, where Jett's Grill is. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise to drink, Pistachio Fried Steak for my dinner and split a piece of Cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. The Pistachio Fried Steak was tender and seemed to be the favorite as I saw several other patrons order it. The mash potatoes were delicious as was the broccoli. The gravy was a a bit spicy but it enhanced the flavor, would love to have a bit more gravy

Food: I had the ribeye with Parmesan fries and my table mate had the pistachio chicken. Ribeye was tasty enough as where the fries, I didn't feel the justification for the price was there for the ribeye. Service: seemed subpar for the equivalently priced meal. Example an item was not in-stock but it was still on my receipt. Was removed in the end, but I felt that the way that the business sells itself would reflect in not missing things like that. Ambiance: was the best part of my experience. Pretty cool place, and wasn't busy when we visited on a Monday night.

After a very, very long day on the road, Jett's was convenient in the Hotel El Paisano where we're staying. There were limited table choices, so we were seated in the middle of the restaurant near the kitchen and wait station. Some smokey fumes kept wafting from the kitchen. While it smelled pretty good, it sent me into some coughing fits. The wait station was off-putting at first but it was slow enough in the restaurant that it was fine. The service was acceptable given we were in Marfa, Texas, where restaurant service is not a competitive sport as it is in Dallas. My husband ordered the pot roast. It was Sunday night after all. It was savory served with creamed potatoes and carrots that had clearly been cooked in the pot with the meat. Yum. I chose the kale and roasted beet salad with goat cheese, pecans, and mandarin tossed in a light vinaigrette. It was huge, fresh, and just right for me. The wine list was short for summer but it was easy to find something tasty. And more cheesecake - crème brûlée cheesecake- complete with a sugar crust on top. Mmm. All in all, it was an enjoyable meal other than the kitchen maybe needing to upgrade the vent hood.

We loved this place. Once for drinks and once for dinner. The setting can't be beat - the hotel is gorgeous. Shared a wedge salad and burger and the burger was art. Nailed all the details so perfectly and the sweet potato fries were great as well.

Dinner room is beautiful setting staff friendly bartender Ciara is amazing the food came out hot fresh great flavor would definitely recommend next time your in Marfa stop by Jett's Grill

This meal was delicious. My family of 5 were all super happy and the service was excellent. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food at Jett's Grill during our stay at the Paisano Hotel, but the service was terrible. It was so bad we decided to go to the restaurant at the nearby Hotel Saint George the second night. I had the Giant Burger and it was good but nothing special. I liked the homestyle fries because they were a different shape than normal fries making them a little more potato-ey, kind of like a steak fry. My wife had the Pistachio Fried Steak with jalapeno gravy. We couldn't really detect any pistachio flavor in the breading. The jalapeno gravy stole the show on this dish. I would recommend it and it seems to be their specialty. On to the service. Our server approached our table with not smile and a very flat greeting. In fact, he didn't greet us but rather just asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered drinks and an appetizer but the appetizer never arrived. When he brought our entrees we asked about the appetizer and he said he had forgotten about it - no apology, didn't ask if we still wanted it, just walked away. He never stopped by our table again until well after we had finished eating even though our drinks were empty and we were wanting to order dessert in advance. After waiting 10-15 minutes and watching our waiter walk through the dining room many times without glancing at our table, we decided to ask another server if we could get our check or if she would be nice enough to tell our server to bring it. He finally brought the check but when he gave us the receipt we noticed he charged the another tables bill to my credit card. We had to flag him down and point it out to him and when he came back with the correct receipt he put it down on the table and said here is the correct receipt along with a receipt showing the voided transaction - no apology whatsoever. Coincidentally, the same thing happened at a different restaurant several days later and the manager came by our table to apologize and explain that we will see the wrong charge on our credit card statement but that it would go away within 3-5 business days, etc. THAT is how you are supposed to handle that kind of mistake, not the way our server did. Maybe he was just having a bad night or didn't enjoy his job, but we were polite the whole time even through his mistakes and some basic common courtesy would have gone a very long way.

Great atmosphere very west Texas western theme. Love it

It's always a good sign when the parking lot is full in the middle of the week. Got a seat inside and waited. Then waited some more. The hostess seated a 14-top and we decided that we would leave if their orders went in first. BUT finally - a waitress. Friendly, though obviously harried by the unexpected mid-week bonanza. Drinks & food order in!! Margarita for me, Dos Equis for him, chili con queso, spicy chicken sandwich as shared plates. $22 marg was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Queso was SO good, with hefty chips made just right. Spice in the chicken - yes please. Did we wait, yes. Did we mind, NO. BEST PART - the people watching was PRIME. We could've passed another round & been entertained until closing but folks were waiting for tables and i was just buzzed enough on the ONE marg. Looking forward to tomorrow when we try a burger & cheesecake.

Unfortunately, this establishment did not feel family friendly or kid friendly despite presenting itself that way. After waiting around 10 minutes just for someone in our party to grab menus, we were eventually served water and later had our orders taken. However, the overall attitude and repeated glares from the waitress/bartender, Gary Jean, made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Good service goes a long way, and basic kindness shouldn't feel like too much to ask. It became clear that receiving decent service was going to be more effort than it should have been, so we decided to leave before our food even arrived. To management: supporting your staff better may help improve the customer experience overall. A little hospitality can make a big difference.

The waitstaff is terrific, from the friendly bartender (you can purchase almost the entire menu for 1/2 price at the bar!), to the professional waiters. The food choices are diverse and international. I love the dumplings and the bao; they transport you right to China. The glazed shrimp appetizer is to die for, and the pizza, best in Marfa. But the real piece de resistance is the steak, especially ribeye special. It's huge, and cooked just right (I love mine medium rare). Shout out to the ramen, unlike any you've ever had, and the wide variety of drink specials provide a number of whimsical choices that should please every taste bud. The chef here is terrific, as is the service. You can eat here 5 times and never have the same international fare. It's shocking in West Texas to discover a restaurant so accommodating, and the prices mean the entire family can enjoy the experience. Don't miss this incredible restaurant!

We started with the salad, which was a solid opener--fresh, generous portion, and overall enjoyable. Nothing that really stood out, but definitely not a miss. The pizza was... okay. You can tell it's fire oven cooked, which is usually a win, but ours came out a bit too toasty--borderline burnt on one side. It also wasn't cut properly, which made things a little awkward. Some slices weren't cut through at all (had to ask for a knife), and others were uneven--ranging from oversized wedges to tiny slivers. Service was a little scattered, but to be fair, we came in toward the end of the night and our server mentioned it had been a hectic evening. No real complaints there--just felt a bit rushed and disorganized. A couple of downsides: they close at 9:30, which isn't ideal if you're looking for a late-night bite or drink, and there's no room service--you have to head down to order. Overall, it's a convenient spot if you're staying at the hotel and need something easy, but it's not necessarily a destination meal. Convenient? Yes. Notable? Meh.

There was an American Flag and a Texas flag flying out front. We walked in and waited for someone to greet us and seat us. After we were at our table, drink orders were taken. When our water was brought out, we were also given some Honey Pecan Biscuits with butter. They were warm and I liked the pecans in it! Hubby & I shared everything. We started with a cup of Jalapeño and Cilantro Soup. It's a cream based soup. I couldn't detect much of any heat from the Jalapeños and the cilantro was pretty much hidden. Maybe a sprinkling of fresh cilantro on top would have made it more pronounced. It also needed to be served hot. We then got the 14oz Ribeye which came with mashed potatoes & green beans. This was a great plate of food! It came out hot! The person who brought it out waited until we cut into it to see if it was acceptable. We've never had any staff person do that for us before! It was a little under done on one side, but the other was perfect. We almost finished the plate. It was delicious! Lastly, we got the Chocolate Bread Pudding Tamale. It comes wrapped in a corn husk that it is cooked in. You remove it and eat the bread pudding. It was gummy in a good way, as hubby described it. It needed the fresh strawberries & ice cream that came on the plate. We really enjoyed our dinner! Our server, Jordan, was very efficient & made it a nice experience! We probably won't travel this way again, but if we did, we would definitely return!
