Well I came to this establishment because it was recommended by a friend and the reviews were good. I dropped off my wedding ring/engagement ring/anniversary band to be sized and soldered together. The young girl who assisted me was apparently the daughter of the owner because she referred to the gentleman as Dad. When I dropped my ring off they were very helpful she measured the size of my finger and told me the cost will be $40 and that it would be ready on Saturday. Fast forward to Saturday the shop open at 10 a.m. I got there at 10:18 a.m. to pick up my ring. The owner looked at me and said we just opened at 10 your ring is not ready. I told him that his daughter said I could pick it up on Saturday she did not tell me it would have to be in the afternoon. I assumed when a product is to be ready on Saturday that means it's ready when they open on Saturday. the gentleman asked me to return later on in the afternoon. I went back to the store at approximately 4:45 p.m. when I was handed my ring it was not sized correctly. the girl when she measured my finger used a measuring for a single ring not a Triple Ring. I was asked to wait well they corrected their error. I waited in the store 4/45 minutes. the Jeweler had to cut my ring and resize it while I waited. needless to say I was not happy. while I was waiting for my ring to be finished the owner was helping two gentlemen. the owner was speaking to them in another language. what I did get out of the conversation was that the two gentlemen did not have to pay to have their item fixed which I believe is a watch. The part that was even more frustrating was after waiting over 45 minutes for my piece of jewelry that I had dropped off 4 days earlier I was still charged full price. I did feel a bit discriminated against. It would seem that since they made an error, to accommodate me they would have made concessions so I would feel special vs. inconvenienced. The jeweler did a great job on my ring, otherwise I would have rated 1 star. I will not be recommending them to anyone I know. Thanks for making feel that you appreciated my business-NOT! 12/16/16- I am changing my rating to 1 star. After reexamination of my ring, the jeweler did a bad job also. My ring has diamonds along the side and he covered them up when he soldered the two rings together. What a joke.! read more

My husband needed some watch batteries replaced, links taken out of a band and sunglasses that needed a screw. At first they said they couldn't take care of the sunglasses but when we returned an hour later to pick up the watches, he said he would fix the sunglasses and did it in no time! I went into jewel time with a non running watch.they put in a battery and put on a new wristband.I 30 minutes later my watch was not working.I returned within the hour. They looked at my watch they said it had a broken movement. they said they would repair it, but I had to pay in advance. It would cost as much money as I paid for the watch in the first place. This place is terrible, WORST customer service i have ever seen ..in fact their is no customer service at all, I went to this place to get some battery replaced.( i had some coupon from a saving magazine). George was very RUDE, just for getting the battery replaced he wanted me to leave my watch's over night (it was not that the store was full, their was no customer in the store when i went in) and finally he agreed to it be done in one hr( like he was doing a big favor to me) and when i asked him to give me a receipt for the watch so that when i come back i can show the receipt to claim my watch's, his comment was " Oh you think i will run away with the watch" if i was not in hurry i would have never giving him my business. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE you can ever receive. Service terrible and price for repairs extremely high. I took two watches there for repair. One required just the second hand to be reattached; the other was a self-winding watch which was about 50 years old and is a prize possession because my father gave it to me. To repair the second hand on the first watch, they gave me an $85 estimate; to repair the second, they estimated would be $135. I thought both these estimates were very high but decided to give them a chance, anyway, as I'd had the watches for years and my father had owned the one before me. It took them more than two months to fix the self-winder. Prior to that, I picked up the other watch because it was a simple repair. Their explanation as to why they hadn't touched it was because they were going to do "both at the same time." How does that make sense? A customer needs his watch back. I only have 2 watches and so I took the one back and got it repaired somewhere else. I should have taken both watches back. I wish I had. It took them nearly another month to fix the self-winder, and it still doesn't hold its wind for more than a few hours. I took it back but they don't stand behind their merchandise. I was told by the owner, George, a pompous and self-important guy, that "you have to shake it for 5 minutes to wind it." When I told him, I used to only have to shake it for less than a minute to keep a wind the whole day, he said "Well that was probably 20 years ago. It's old now." I tried to explain it was working that way right before I brought it in, which is why I brought it to them in the first place, but he wasn't listening. It was obvious he didn't want to help me. Then he became even ruder. He said to me "Why do you wear the watch tight on your wrist? You should wear it loose like a bracelet." When I told him I always wear it this way, he said "Well that's because you're old. My generation wears watches loose on their wrist. That way it would wind itself." Well..okay. But George isn't exactly young. I may be 5 years older than him. Who cares, anyway? He's just rude. Needless to say, he didn't offer to fix the problem. After spending $135, the original problem with the watch is the same as before and their explanation was that either the watch is too old, or I am. Needless to say again, I will never return there for any service or sale whatsoever. I urge all shoppers to go elsewhere for their repairs as they don't stand behind the supposed "warranty" that comes with the repairs, and they are extremely rude and arrogant owners. read more

I walked in with 5 watches. He worked on them all on the spot. 4 of them were easy fixes and the 5th took some time to figure out. In the end he suggested that I don't bother fixing the 5th.
