I had my lashes done at a different salon just one week earlier, but they were already falling out and needed a touch-up. It was almost 7:00 PM on a Saturday, and I knew I was walking in without an appointment. The moment I walked into Bright Star Lashes, I was warmly greeted by Linda (owner). Even though she and her staff were busy with other clients, she took the time to listen to my situation. She explained that everyone was occupied, but her trainee, Rose, could help me under her guidance. She reassured me that Rose would do a great job and that she would personally check in throughout the appointment. To my surprise, Linda also offered me a $10 discount because Rose was still in training. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and honest, especially since I had walked in without an appointment and they were already doing me a favor by staying late. I am so grateful that Linda and Rose stayed well past their closing time to help me. Their salon closes at 8:00 PM, but they didn't finish until after 9:00 PM. At no point did I feel rushed. Linda repeatedly checked Rose's work, and in the end, she personally finished my lashes to make sure everything looked perfect. They truly took their time and cared about the quality of their work. What impressed me the most wasn't just my beautiful lashes ...it was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion Linda showed me. She could have easily asked me to come back another day, especially since I arrived late without an appointment, but instead she went above and beyond to help because I had an important event to attend. The salon is spotless, beautifully organized, and smells amazing. Even the restroom was exceptionally clean. I was there for over two hours, yet I felt comfortable and welcomed the entire time. Thank you so much, Linda and Rose, for your outstanding service and for treating me with such kindness. It's rare to find a business that truly puts customers first. I've been getting my lashes done for years, so I know how to care for them. Some tips for others: - Don't allow your lashes to get wet the day they are done. - Don't let water from the shower head hit your lashes directly - this is really harsh on them. This really harsh on your face too. - You can get water on them (after day one of course) and you SHOULD wash them! I splash water on my face and very carefully clean my lashes with clean fingertips. It's important to clean them - you don't want nasty build up! - Be mindful about how you sleep. I'm a side sleeper and, like most side sleepers, prefer one side over the other. If I don't switch up sides often I've noticed the lashes of my preferred side will fall off faster. Every now and then I sleep on my stomach - this is the absolute worst for my lashes as they consistently rub on the pillow at night. How you care for your lashes directly correlates to how long they last. I usually redo my lashes every two weeks to keep them consistent. By the way, Ray gives great massages. I've gone to him several times for this service and I continue returning because I feel very comfortable around him. I highly encourage everyone to check out Ray's services!

Honestly, I've had a lash removal done elsewhere before and it was so painful... Julie was so careful in removing the huge amount of lash glue done by the other technician and it didn't hurt one bit at all! After that, I decided that I wanted a full set and I was so happy with Julie's result! She did a wonderful job, and it was painless too! My eyes are usually really sensitive to lash glue and will tear up, but my eyes didn't water at all when Julie was working on my lashes. She's so professional and such a sweetheart.
