My fairy frog emerald engagement ring created by Paula. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen!
    K W.

I was lucky enough to find Jewels that Dance when I was searching for a jewelry designer to create the engagement ring of my dreams. I am a lover of all things frog and fairytale, and I had designed my own engagement ring to include two frogs guarding an emerald held by leaves. I had a very specific idea in mind being an artist myself, and was searching for that perfect artist able to make it come to life as a ring. Now, I live in Northern Virginia, and I searched far and wide locally for someone who could create my ring. Finding nobody here, I turned to the Internet to see if I could find anyone in a few states over. And that's when I found Jewels that Dance. I'm sure fate lead me straight to their website to Paula's gorgeous jewelry. Jewelry, that to my wonderful surprise, featured frogs!!! I almost cried from joy as I immediately emailed her my drawing to see if she could make it come to life. The process from here on out was absolutely magical. I saw a drawing of my ring first turn into a gorgeous, well thought out 3d render, and then become a completely glorious real life fairytale ring! I admit I was very apprehensive having it mailed it to me, but it was sent in a large box to disguise the fact it was jewelry and well insured! It reached my door safe and sound and my fiancé put it on my finger as I just cried. It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I thank you Paula, from the bottom of my heart for making my dreams come true. I hope to meet you and thank you in person one day! Maybe to create matching earrings ;)

Paula made these sun and moon promise rings for my boyfriend and I. They are so perfect!!! Thank you Paula!!!!

Paula is terrific. Sized my ring for me and it is simply gorgeous. No one would ever know it had been sized.

Paula took the time to listen to our thoughts and needs, a rendering was done, we asked a few more questions, and WOW!

I can't thank Emma enough for her instruction and guidance.  Her class refreshed my knowledge base, taught me better techniques than I had learned in the past and certainly taught me new skills.  I'm looking forward to another class.  Individual instruction,  small classes, a superb location and work space, the opportunity to rent time using her equipment once you complete a course - it can't be beat.  Before you consider other area classes I highly recommend checking out classes at Mountain Metalworks.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to make jewelry, not even just wedding rings. Emma guided us through the process and each step of the ring making while we truly did all the work in making the rings how we wanted them. Emma was there for guidance, offering her expert opinion, and helping us with the more challenging equipment. We started from scratch and ended up with 2 unique wedding bands we made for each other, and will always have the memories of making them together too! A testament of their dedication (and maybe the band quality). After having the watch a couple weeks, I accidentally shattered the crystal. So sad. I looked at a few options, but a lot of them you needed to ship in the watch and they couldn't tell you if they could even fix it before seeing it. Also, a lot of those shipping places starting at $70 anyway. It was coach. I took it to the coach shop, but they also did not fix that. With that in mind, I went back to where she had it fixed. The people working in there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They were upfront about the cost and let me know the waiting time. One of them makes their own jewelry and it's super beautiful. Luckily, the watch took less time than the maximum amount I would be waiting, but I was fine either way. They called and I went and picked it up today. The two humans were working and I can tell they truly want to help and enjoy their job. The Crystal was a bit particular but it looks just like new. The cost was $80 with tax which I found very fair as they replaced the battery as well. Wonderful establishment with great employees who are professional and approachable. Recommend it for sure.

The price at first wasn't bad but then I checked for it online and it was a whopping $150 less and brand new online versus $900 at this store in Asheville. I'm visiting here for a small vacation and would've loved to take this watch with me back home but I cannot justify spending $150 more for a used watch than buying the same thing online brand new! Other than that the shop itself is very nice and their repair and service kiosk is great.
