It's OK. I asked for deep tissue but instead got a real soft one. The staff here is really nice, though.

I always see coupons for this salon in the weekly papers or on Groupon. They are always good deals…read more I've driven past several times and it looks very nice from the outside. I just can't get over the name, it's so silly! I don't get it. However, I have heard so many good things and so I finally took the plunge. I got a mani/pedi from Becky and she did a wonderful job. I just hate going somewhere and paying for a service that you aren't 100% happy with in the end, it's so disappointing. But I was very satisfied with Becky's work and I not only made a follow-up appointment right on the spot, but I will definitely recommend her to friends. She took her time and did a great job. I didn't feel rushed, she made me feel like I was sitting and chatting with an old friend. She has 20 years of experience and it shows. I had such a good experience with my mani/pedi that I decided to get a massage while I was there and they fit me right in. The gal who did it gave me cards with her name on them, but I've already handed them out to several friends and now I can't remember her name! She was also excellent and after the massage she took the time to explain a few different stretches that would benefit my personal aches and pains in the future. The massage room was nicely decorated and clean. The whole experience was great and I'm looking forward to going back. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone and everyone. Decent prices and quality workmanship. They also do hair, so I'll have to try that out next!

Whether you are in need of a cut, color, nails or a facial - the crew at Phagans is eager to train on you! That's right folks, services are performed by students enrolled in one of their 'beauty' programs. If you're brave enough to continue after that tidbit, just know that there are instructors at their beck and call to check the work being performed. No need for the guys to feel left out. They also do beard trims, shaves, and mani/pedis! I throughly enjoyed the playlist and conversation while freshening up my look. And the big kicker; Veterans cuts are only $2! That's right (yay me), I got one heck of a bargain cut done by a very friendly and through student, and after paying my bill, still had enough cash left over to tip generously. It took a little longer than normal, but I was in no rush. If you like the products used on you, they have a stock available to purchase. You can pay double, even triple digits if you'd like, but I'll be 'heading' back to Phagans (see what I did there?)!

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had…read more I brought my 16-year-old niece here after the salon we originally booked canceled at the last minute. Since she had traveled all the way from Eugene to get her nails done, we didn't have many options and decided to give this school a chance. They found someone to do her nails and assured us she was able to provide the service. Throughout the appointment, I kept checking on my niece because the nails were not looking right. I gently expressed my concerns several times and asked if someone could take a look or help improve them. Instead of addressing the issue, I was repeatedly told that they were about to close, as though I was asking them to stay late. At that point, we had already been there for over five hours. I had prepaid $44 for the nails and nail art. To be clear, I was never concerned about getting the extra money back for the nail art. My concern was that I had paid for a service that was not being done correctly. Every time I expressed concern about the quality of the nails, no one came over to assess the work, offer guidance to the student, or try to make the situation right. Instead, my concerns were dismissed, and I felt as though I was being gaslighted into accepting poor work. Eventually, they told us we could come back another day for the nail art, but I repeatedly explained that the issue wasn't the nail art--it was the nails themselves. The situation became even more frustrating when I later found out this was the student's first day doing nails. If that was the case, why wasn't she being supervised or guided by an instructor? Why wasn't anyone stepping in to help her succeed or to ensure customers received an acceptable service? Unfortunately, the problems continued. One nail came off as we were leaving. Another fell off the next day. Several more came off before the weekend was over. I called multiple times asking to speak with a manager, but no one ever returned my calls. Eventually, I spoke with someone named Angel. As I attempted to explain the situation, she interrupted me and immediately became defensive, stating that the appointment ran longer than expected and that I shouldn't have prepaid for the service. She repeatedly told me that they don't give refunds. The problem was that I was never asking for a refund. I explained several times that all I wanted was for the nails to be fixed. I wasn't asking anyone to stay late, and I wasn't demanding my money back. I simply wanted someone to acknowledge that the service was unacceptable and make it right. Angel then stated that they were not going to redo the nails simply because I "didn't like them." Once again, I had to explain that this wasn't about me not liking the appearance of the nails or changing my mind after the service was completed. The issue was that the nails were not properly done and were literally falling off. One nail came off as we were leaving, another came off the very next day, and several more fell off before the weekend was over. At that point, I wasn't asking for a cosmetic adjustment--I was asking them to correct a service that had clearly failed. Instead of listening, Angel continued to interrupt me and eventually responded, "Well, why don't you just go back to the other place then?" That response completely shocked me. I wasn't comparing businesses to be rude--I was explaining that in all my years of visiting beauty schools, if there was an issue, staff would step in, address the concern, and work toward a solution. I've never experienced a place that was so unwilling to listen to customer concerns or take responsibility for poor service. The lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, and customer care was incredibly disappointing. I will never return to this establishment, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Customer service starts with listening, and unfortunately, that was missing from this experience entirely.

PLEASE READ!! THIS MAY HELP YOU!…read more I didn't think a quick fill would turn into a 6 hour nightmare . I came to Beauty Nails for a simple fill. My nails were barely grown out but I was missing a pinky nail. I ended up leaving with bumpy , uneven, messy nails . He constantly told me I was ridiculous for the long nails then said they were "too hard" when replacing the missing pinky nail, he put a curved acrylic tip on! It looked awful ! After getting a good look at them in the car, I headed back inside. This is where things went from bad to worse . I told the man in charge I really wasn't happy with them. I said "I don't think these are fixable , can we shape them better?" He starts cutting them off! I demanded a refund and it took over 45 minutes of him saying he does not know how to refund for me to finally get my money back. He told me several times to leave and that he will "refund me later" when I refused to leave, he threatened to call the police, took pictures of me, then screamed at me "you are not the law." Magically , he was able to refund me and sent me on my way. I left crying and upset with cut up nails. I went to another salon "Angelic nails" that SAVED me. It took hours to soak off the tips he cut up. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Unfortunately, the experience was terrible for the following reasons: 1. On the page under "Massage Enhancements - Epsom Foot Soak" the business promises an Epsom Foot Soak for new clients to enjoy while they fill out paperwork. I arrived 15m before my appointment and asked about the foot soak. The receptionist was not at the desk, so the question was posed to a massage therapist who showed up and said that the receptionist was preparing it. I was given paperwork to fill out which I did without the aforementioned foot soak. 2. When I was shown to the massage room, the foot bath was there, and I asked whether the 15m foot soak would be counted as part of my massage. The therapist, Anita, left the room for 10m (part of my massage time now) and came back to say that the foot soak would not be offered. Instead she said she would add on a paraffin treatment for my hands and feet. 3. The actual "deep tissue" massage was a lot of petting and short superficial strokes. She did identify and dig in deeper to sore glut muscles which helped relieve some tension, but it was not the deep tissue massage I had expected, and she did not address my primary concern (bursitis). 4. She ended the massage after 50 minutes (minus the time she left the room). 5. She never followed through with the promise of a paraffin treatment. Even though I was offered a discount, I left more stressed than I arrived. This is not the way to treat anyone. Never promise something you can't deliver.

Hands down one of the best massage experiences I've had, ever…read more From the sweet and helpful service when scheduling, to the day before reminder calls, to the warm welcome when you arrive, you enter a place where you can leave whatever is bothering you behind. I start relaxing by perusing and sampling the nice array of aromatherapy oils you have to choose from. (Lavender sandlewood is a favorite.) I turn down the wine service they offer, in favor of water or tea. I've seen Max now a few times, and he's great. Gets down to business, not too light, not too deep, comfortable working in quiet, responsive to requests and has a great energy to create and hold a space where you can just relax and let him do all the work. Whether I just need to relax and recenter, or if I'm coming in with certain complaints, I always leave in a much better state than I arrived, and the benefits don't usually fully roll around until the next day. And two words: HOT STONES. Yes, please!! Part of the regular service (not an add-on like at some places). The blankets on the tables are so soft and heavy, the bedding is in nice shape (so many places keep them until the are pilly, scratchy messes) and the environment is super serene and relaxing. This is a happy place!
