Had a great pedicure here. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice. I had an appointment and we started promptly by the time of the appointment if not a little early. It was about a 30 minute pedicure. I'm pretty sure they only offer gel but it was a $50 pedicure which I think is very reasonable. I didn't have polish on my toes before so I'm not sure if this includes removal of previous gel. If you forget your nail kit (required in Oregon to bring some of your own supplies including a file, buffer and foot scrubber) they can provide one for a small fee. read more

I cannot recommend this salon enough! I've tried plenty of nail salons in Salem and this is the first place I walked out with exactly what I wanted, happy and eager to return. I have been three times, bringing a photo for inspiration each time, and getting exact replication of the design on my own hands. Nhu (I hope that is how to spell it) is gentle and puts genuine genuine effort into giving me what I asked for. I think she does an amazing job, and hope she is as proud of her work as I am to wear it. I do not feel I overpaid, with tip it was a little over $100 for a full set (with the flower design so it was probably a little extra), which again, I happily paid. These visits are the only time I've ever left the salon without sore fingers, without feeling like I got talked out of my design, and in a better mood then when I went in. Check them out! read more

Update: I've been coming to this salon exclusively since my first review. I could not be happier with the service, the owners, and other clientele. I always look forward to my visit with Lisa and spending an hour or so at the shop. Don't waste your time anywhere else the work and service here is top notch. Update: After posting my review the owner contacted me and apologized for the quality of my experience and wanted to make it right. I am very happy with their effort to make things right and my nails look so much better and the quality is great. I really wanted to like this spot as my first experience was great, but the quality was subpar. Within 24 hours I had already broken one nail and three days later, another! The nails themselves are also different thickness at different points of the nail and all different shapes/sizes. We enjoyed visiting every 3 weeks for appointments and came on time giving them our business until this week. Had an appointment and last minute cancellation on child care. Tried to bring my 3 year old and was met with them telling us they "don't allow guests" I'm totally all for that but to be turned away for having a child with us is ridiculous. They don't notify or let anyone know they can't bring other people with them. I don't consider a CHILD a "guest". We will take our business elsewhere read more

I came to Nails Now on a whim & am very happy that I did! I requested an appointment & Lisa replied about an hour later. They got me in an hour after that & it was all so easy! Mani/pedi with gel polish. Started out great with an amazing massage chair while I got my pedicure. Nails and toes looked fabulous. The problems started a few days later when a couple of nails already had chips, but she was able to fit me in and fixed them. However, by day 10, another 3 nails had chips. And by day 14 seven are chipped, including from the side and the cuticle. After the first few days, every time I wash my hair the polish catches and pulls on it. read more

I wanted to find a place that was closer to work so I could have a pedicure done during work, or shortly after, and not have to drive all the way out to Keizer where I normally go. I messaged the business and was told I could get in that day, at 4. Great! I walked in and was seated immediately. First impression: I liked the sassy owner. From my pedicure chair I was able to hear and see her interact with other customers, who are clearly regulars, and she was funny and quick-witted. I could really like her, and this place, IF I were a regular. Second impression: I then saw how she treated walk-ins, and then the things she said about them when they left, and was immediately turned off. I get that walk-ins are annoying, particularly when they storm in out of breath and ask if you have time for [some obscure nail job that I am unfamiliar with], but to then berate them when they leave, particularly when you have a 'walk-in's welcome' sign, is just unprofessional. As for the pedicure, it was just OK. The chair was comfortable, but the guy who did my feet ended the "massage" with a violent slapping of my calves. I felt like I was on Candid Camera, and wasn't sure if I should say anything, or wait until a camera crew asked me to sign a release. No joke--it was weird. The guy also dug around in drawers looking for the tools, rather than having them sealed and ready. I seriously questioned the sanitation here. When he finished with the polish (one coat, by the way), he used a paint brush with remover to tidy the edges. That's a no. What REALLY killed it for me, though, were the last two things I endured: A group of bippy-bop, loud, bleach blondes who stormed the place towards the end, who clearly knew the owner from Starbucks, or something. One girl was seated next to me and I had to listen to the owner talk about the girls CORN and INGROWN nails and then a HOLE in her foot. My god. This girl should have been a podiatrist, not a place that doesn't even use bags in their foot baths. I wanted to throw up. But I also felt bad for the owner, because this brat was arranging her mother's appointments and making the woman go and check her schedule book and do other random crap for her. This girl couldn't have been older than 20 and was just walking all over the poor woman. But then, right as I'm finishing up, the owner made a point to tell her friend about a recent review she received on Yelp. The girl jumps to find it, and the owner says, "oh, it was a message." Ah. OK. Well, it's kind of weird she decided to bring up Yelp, considering that's how I booked the appointment and she knows who I am. It was an obvious dig and you know what? It was OK. I chuckled internally and having an excellent RBF, calmly texted the entire experience to friends. Bottom line: If you are a regular, or want to talk s**t about other customers, or endure the clientele, this is your place. If you want to not here about corns and cysts that are underneath them, or have your legs slapped for no reason, or have a good paint job, or not be belittled, choose another place. read more

I tried to love these nails but I just couldn't. all I wanted was very very short nails and told the lady that but she got irritated while I just wanted to make sure I would be able to be comfortable; all I wanted was short nails and she told me that is the shortest she could cut. I want dark green nails, simple, no designs and they were the most unprofessional job I got. My friend and I were both there for her Birthday and she had the sweetest person and her nails were beautiful while mine looked like I had them on for years. Came in for an acrylic fill and to replace a nail I broke. My nail technician matched the color of my other nails because I wanted them unpolished but I got the nails somewhere else. The match is almost perfect color wise but she got the shape and length down perfect. I had to buy a file and buffer, it's cheap but if I knew I could have brought my own. Drove 20 miles to get to this salon and was told I couldnt have "guests" and by guests they were referring to my CHILD. Not very friendly. Anywhere that doesnt accept children or at least attempt to accommodate families gets zero stars in my book. My child is very well behaved so that would not have been an issues. The proper way to handle that would have been to inform me for next time not turn away a client. Disappointing in this day and age to say the least! This shop was such a great find! I was visiting from out of town for a month and desperately needed a refresher on my gel polish. I searched reviews on Yelp and decided this was the shop for me. Lisa set me up with an appointment the next day, all through the app. The salon was adorably decorated and really clean. I loved the cozy atmosphere they set up! I splurged on myself by getting a deluxe pedicure, which was pure heaven. I swear I sat in that chair for close to an hour and a half being pampered, well worth the price. Next I had a gel manicure done and had a cute design I found on Pinterest put on my nails. (My salon at home doesn't do designs ) My nails turned out so cute. They never greeted us, we stood there awkwardly until they finally acknowledged us and even though they spoke perfect English they spoke in a different language to each other while we were sitting there. I was able to schedule an appointment through the yelp app. This was extremely convenient and they responded almost immediately. Not a huge selection of regular polish but varying enough to find a color I was happy with. If I come again I'll bring my go to which is Passion by OPI, a nic translucent pink that is buildable. I found Kiara Sky cream of the crop. I love the massage chair and it was very comfortable. The foot massage was also nice and relaxing. Had an appointment. Was told to call when I got there so that they'll come out and get me. Got there 5 minutes before appointment but called sharply at my appointment time. I saw the salon staff in the parking lot unlock the front door and go inside (they were just opening for the day), and left their front door open. Someone answered the phone and told me wait a few more minutes. At 10:02, other customers who came after me, went right in and to the back side of the salon. At 10:05, no one came out for me, so I left. I thought it was rude that I had to wait in my car while others went right in, and no one bothered to bring me in on time.
