Chubb refused to release the deposit unless I gave him a copy of the full inspection report. This is illegal. He is not entitled to this information but is trying to extort a free inspection report on the property. He has also placed the listing back on the market, but still has my deposit. Here's an example: I recently made an offer on a home that was totally "renovated" by Constitution. It seemed great, but after inspection, I realized just how wrong I was. Constitution's contractors "forgot" to finish installing the heat and dishwasher. They installed a window upside down. The kitchen cabinets were never attached to the floor (and the granite was never attached to the top of the cabinets). The "new" toilet they installed leaked terribly. And the roof they told me was "just replaced" was actually SEVEN YEARS OLD. I could go on, but you get the picture. The work this company does is terrible. Avoid anything they've touched like the plague.

I would not recommend their services. I hired Land Mapping to complete property staking. The only…read moredocuments they provided were ones I could and have obtained from Registry of Deeds. They did not provide any unique "calculations." I have some questions about how the survey was conducted and information that was said to me. A separate survey crew hired by a neighbor came by the day after our property was staked. They used the markers on our property for a neighbor on the other side of our street-- they asked me who did our staking. It's close enough for building flower beds along the property, but I will use a different company in the future for establishing property lines.
