Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. We discussed a turf area for our dog, boulders, brick patio, and xeriscaping. A week later I realized I didn't want pokey, spikey, pain-inducing plants in the yard my dog and grandchildren would be playing in. Pat graciously updated our design to include a second sitting area for a fire table and replaced the xeriscaping with a raised area that includes a desert willow, rosemary, sage, and lavender. The day before the project the materials were delivered, the day of the project a team of apparent experts showed up and finished everything except the pergola before the end of the day. It was amazing. They were fast, friendly, and left everything better than they found it, including the side and front yard!
