I knew in my spirit that they would be busy and I needed to get on the road back to California ASAP. I was greeted by Mike with Good morning, how can we help you with a smile. that made me feel less stressed. I told him and with no hesitation Mike was on the job. Quickly he came and gave me an itemized list of what he was doing. Loved that. Then he was back to working on my car, ordering parts. While he was working, I had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Scott. Who has been in the auto mechanic industry for 17 years. So, I knew that I was in good hands. Scott's customer care and understanding of the customer care issues he definitely addressed them accordingly. I was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and their willingness to assist each customer that walked through the door. I was in awe and wished that we had mechanics that care for the person and then they handled the car issues. I see why they're one of the best; if not the best in their industry. It happened at a very difficult time and place, about 150 miles east of St. George and in a snow storm. We stopped in Kanab for an engine test and were told that the transmission had developed a problem that would disable the All-Wheel-Drive. We were told that driving to St. George would not cause further damage to the transmission but the snow storm, without all-wheel-drive, resulted in a very cautious drive to St. George. We called ahead to St. George Transmission and they were familiar with that particular Subaru problem and they had the parts in stock. We decided that our other car, a Ford Transit 350 van handled even worse than the Subaru so while St. George Transmission fixed the Subaru, we had Snow tires put on the van. We have fond memories of St. George and, especially of St. George Transmission. They made our Forester safe to drive, even though the snow storm got worse as we drove on to Seattle. Great company and staff is very knowledgeable in Subaru transmission problems.

It's just something they tack onto every customer and another fee cannot figure out which took me from one $169 to a whopping $195 it was not worth my time to debate or bring it up, I guess its a common practice to slide in the additional charges in the auto repair industry at the end, and I think like many I'll just never go back there ever. I want to give a huge shoutout to Ryan from R&J Mobile Mechanics. I was in Zion for a few days…read morewhen, unfortunately, my battery light came on. The next morning I drove about 30 minutes down the mountain to AutoZone to have the battery tested. It turned out the battery wasn't holding a charge, and I was told the next thing to check would most likely be the alternator. I called multiple mechanics and mobile mechanics in the area until my brother found Ryan. At first, there wasn't much he could do because we had to emergency order an alternator from Vegas. I was able to get a warranty replacement battery from AutoZone and continue my plans for the day. The following evening around 5:30 PM, Ryan came out and was able to take care of the repair. He even helped order the correct alternator through AutoZone for me. He showed up on time, checked every possible option, and took the time to properly troubleshoot the issue instead of just guessing. After testing everything, we determined the alternator was the most likely problem. The installation only took him about 40 minutes. Afterward, we tested everything multiple times using different meters and code readers, took the vehicle for a test drive, and made sure everything was working correctly. I was nervous at first because there was still a strange noise after the repair, but Ryan took the time to troubleshoot it further until everything checked out. The battery light was gone, all tests passed, and I was able to safely drive over 350 miles back to California without any issues. I really appreciate Ryan's professionalism, honesty, and willingness to help while I was stranded away from home. WARNING! Huge regret bringing my car to this shop. They held my car in their possession for a over…read morea week total, gave mixed messages, made multiple mistakes and literally did not solve a single problem, so not only left me at square one, but nearly $2,000 into the negative. They're very modernized & appear to be very professional, but it's really a front. I talked to a couple of other mechanics, they were aghast by their conduct. I brought my car (2015 Ford Expedition) into them after it had broke down near their shop, they claimed it needed a new fuel pump, so I had them replace it.. now, over 2,500 miles later I had the exact same problems & codes that caused the first break down happen again, after they supposedly fixed the problem. Not only that, they claimed it had an oil leak, so I had them clean the engine bay, replace the oil, etc. so to verify the location of the leak.. 2,500 miles later, "oops we're wrong again, no leak but no reimbursement either for misleading you." There were several other things, but I want to keep this concise. The worst part was how it ended, I tried giving them ample opportunity to rectify the whole thing, but the owner refused to accept any accountability for their mishandling of my vehicle which I entrusted to them. He played it off as if their hands were clean of any misconduct even after listing off several things they had clearly done wrong. He simply defended himself up & down, rolled his eyes & revealed his indifference to the way he had screwed me over. Same sort of review I have as the others leaving a one-star.. It's a shame these guys consider themselves professionals because I've never been so disappointed by a mechanic shop. Partly my fault for trusting these posers. I hope they correct whatever's causing them to drop the ball because unassuming people will have to pay the cost unless they simply steer clear of this place that I simply see as a money grab.. but that's just my take.
