We went on a Friday evening at 6. There was only 1 girl waiting on all the tables. We sat for 1 hr and 45 minutes before we got our order. After an hour we finally got some water. We were going to walk out but I couldn't get everyone to agree to it.... Lol surprisingly no one in the place lost their cool and we were all in the same predicament. The food was really good. The restaurant entrance is on the side of a building that houses and international grocery, and the entrance/sign is difficult to see from the road. There were (too) few patrons when we arrived on a Saturday evening. Don't let any of this stop you from dining here. The food was the BEST Indian I have ever had, the Nepali specialities were truly excellent. The flavoring, spices, and selection/choice was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope/expect it to be more crowded the next time we eat here. This restaurant deserves to become a thriving location. read more

This is a brand new restaurant that just opened up right next to the GN International Market in Pickerington, And located in the next plaza over to the big Kroger off of Hill Road. The food was excellent. I took my whole family out to eat here, and we each got something different, and all of it was delicious. We also got a few appetizers, some naan, and a dessert. All top notch, as well. Everything is very reasonably priced. 4 meals, 2 appetizers, a naan bread basket (3 naan, 1 one of each different kind that they offer, each cut into quarters), plus a dessert was about $86. When you order your meal you can choose how spicy you want it between mild, medium, hot, and spicy. I am someone who loves spicy food and medium was the perfect level for me, so anything beyond that, just be aware what you're getting into. The staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. We just discovered this quaint little place tucked behind the GN International Grocery store. Very nice inside. I got the jhapali chicken thali, which was very good and filling. Hiding behind a church and international grocery store you will find this great Nepali/Indian restaurant. They opened recently but they're set up with a big clean dining room. My server was super polite and helpful. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. I had an order of vegetable pakora and the chickpea curry with naan. The taste was much better than Aab's (if you've ever been to it in Bexley). Not sure if they will have any buffets in the future. The profile on 614 said they wouldn't have momo dumplings on the menu but I'm happy to report that they did indeed have them. If you like Nepali/Indian, it's worth checking this place out. read more

My husband and I were famished after our delayed flight landed in Columbus. We had a taste for Indian food and decided to stop here on the way home. We did not know anything about it so we called the restaurant to confirm they had our two favorite dishes (Nav rattan korma and shrimp masala)- not only did they confirm they had the dishes on their menu, but they also offered to start making it! 20 minutes later, we arrived at the restaurant and took a seat at the table. We were brought a pitcher of water and asked if we were ready for our dishes. It was so nice! The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. Our dishes were promptly brought to us in beautiful copper traditional bowls and the portion sizes were perfect!! My husband and I have eaten our fair share of Indian food and the masala was by far the best we have ever had! The Naan came out piping hot and fresh and the nav rattan korma was also delicious. The customer service is so wonderful. Every time I come in here, I'm always greeted super kindly and given good advice and recommendations on food (I tend to ask a lot of questions because I'm picky lol). I can honestly say that I haven't had a bad meal here yet. My boyfriend loves this place and in the past several times that we have come we have been personally greeted by the owner and asked how our meal was. I love the low lights and romantic feeling I get from the decor. It's a cute date night spot! Overall it's a wonderful experience and great food. read more

My family loves Indian food and we have eaten at just about every one in the surrounding area. We really wanted to like this place, so much so that we tried it 3 times. Each time was extremely disappointing. Food was bland, customer service was poor (we called to say we got the wrong order, they said they would call us back and never did). They seem like nice people and we want to support them but I don't want others to waste $60 on a meal that is a waste of calories and money. read more

I want to give this establishment a good review and I will. The food that I ordered was pretty "different" and that is something that I actually want when I go to a non-traditional restaurant. It came out in an acceptable length of time. The cost seemed fair. Well, actually it seemed sort of expensive but what doesn't anymore with inflation running as hot as it is. The one thing that might put off some customers is that the waiter seemed distant or maybe shy or whatever. It just would have been nicer to have a server explain some of the unusual things a little more without having to ask and figure it out as much by trial and error. Pickerington now has a great addition to the usual Indian food. OK, we really don't have the usual Indian food in Pickeringon but there is some within a short drive.Wanting to try something authentic Nepalese, I ordered the Gundruk Thali. I didn't know what to expect since I didn't look for pictures and wasn't sure what was in each cup. The server explained everything but didn't warn me that the spice level was a bit above the usual Indian levels. It was not a problem and I enjoyed the dish very much and would order it again after I try some othe the other items. The service was excellent and I really felt appreciated as a customer. Attractive space with plenty of room for groups. Had samosas for appetizer - 2 large stuffed pastry with medium spice were tasty! Lamb Tiki Masala was delicious! My wife and I just had a delicious meal at the this new restaurant serving Nepali and Indian food. The palak paneer was the best we've had at any central Ohio Indian restaurant, and the chicken korma was creamy and delicious. The samosas are substantial, with a flaky outer shell stuffed with seasoned potato and vegetables. The mango lassis -- a mix of mango and yoghurt -- were tasty and refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Give this restaurant a try. It would be a shame if it didn't succeed. read more

Excellent Nepali food. You are not likely to notice their location by chance. It is tucked away in a corner of a small shopping center and isn't visible from any main thoroughfare. It's really a hidden gem. In my opinion Pickerington has very few really good restaurants for a city of that size but this is one. It doesn't seem like word has got out yet about this place. I've been there twice and there has only been one or two other tables occupied each time. The server was very attentive and remembered us the second time we dined there. I have had the thupka, garlic naan, chili garlic shrimp and have shared a sampler platter. Presentation was excellent and everything was delicious. I really like spicy. The first time I was there I ordered 3 of 4 and it was a little much for even me. The next time my choice was mild, medium or hot. Medium with a little extra hot oil on the side was perfect. I really hope they catch on. This would be the kind of place that I would drive another 10 miles to reach but I'm glad that I don't have to. read more
