Clean, open and airy restaurant in a strip center with good parking. Kid friendly. The service started excellent. We seated ourselves. Staff offered help but gave us time to go over menu , answered questions, and took our orders. The wait time to get our food was acceptable and the presentation, temperature, flavors were great. We said we liked spicy and they were acceptable (our receipt had been rung up as "medium"). The curry sauce on the curried goat was excellent. However, the dish was the low point due to the "meat" being almost all fat. The garlic naan wasn't very garlicky and was more like pizza dough, but, warm, tasty and acceptable. The restaurant went from almost empty to over 1/2 full while we were there. However, it wasn't busy enough to warrant us being abandoned by service once we got our food. No water refills. Had to go to bar and ask twice for "to go" boxes and our check. Then they brought the check with no pen and the wrong copy to be signed. They have a full bar. They have a small stage and sound equipment and said they may start karaoke in the near future. They have sister stores next door for bubble tea and bakery. Happened to be in the neighborhood, read some reviews and decided to stop by for dinner. Let us tell you, we are so glad we did. Nicest individuals greeting you, helping with any questions about the menu, making recommendations for first time diners and their recommendations were superb. We had what was pictured as well as the Masala Milk Tea, which was absolutely delicious. It is only served hot, however, so tasty. For two of us, we were full and took food home for later. Clean restaurant, music playing in the background, but not too loud so you can enjoy your conversation. Service was outstanding, didn't undeserve or overserve us. We've had food from Darshan several times, but always had it delivered. Today was our first time actually going into the restaurant and we love it even more now. My kids wanted to eat at home, so we got our food to go, but everyone was so nice while we waited at the bar for our order. We were offered water while we waited, and every single person who walked by offered a greeting. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. We usually get butter chicken or chicken tikka masala for the kids, and my husband and I like to work our way around the rest of the menu. My favorite so far is the thukpa (I've had veggie and chicken). Highly recommend visiting! read more

It's been a process for Dragon Kitchen Express to open. I've driven by for months before seeing the open sign. The interior shows an impressive level of detail and care went into the design. They clearly put a lot of thought into their ordering process and menu as well. The samosas were heavenly. Crisp pastry filled with just the right amount of potatoes. The Samosa Chaat was an experience. The chicken appetizer was deeply blackened chicken with cilantro and spice. I also ordered a creamy lamb Korma dinner, but it doesn't photograph well. Last night was our first time at this local restaurant. The outside of the building is non descript but nice music and cozy family setting when you walk in the door. The waiter was very welcoming and willing to answer our questions and make suggestions. We had the chicken vindaloo with no spice. The sauce was super flavorful and the chicken and potatoes so tender. The pork sekwa came out on a sizzling skillet with crispy pork pieces and veggies. The fish fry was crispy pieces of tilapia with flaky inside. The naan basket was $9.99 with three varieties. All delicious. So happy we took a chance on this new restaurant. We ordered a variety of food for both vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone was equally satisfied by the beautiful and delicious food. We tried the samosa chaat, veggie and goat biryanis, several of the momos, malai kafta (favorite sauce), and the veggie vindaloo. Outstanding in every aspect and the staff was very friendly. Just went for the first time. It will not be the last visit. I had assumed it was Chinese food but it has Indian and, as they put it, tastes from the Himalayas. I ordered several things to go. So far I've tried the chicken curry and garlic naan. They have delicious and generous portions. They also included a surprise complimentary rice pudding which was also great. The staff made me feel feel very welcome. The restaurant itself was quite pleasant and clean. read more

All the food were very good tasting and fresh... Roti sabji is to die for. Pork chowmein and biriyani were really good as well. The texture of the pork on chowmein was the best compare to the all the Nepali/Indian Resturant I've tasted in. Will definitely come back. read more

I've been here twice now and the food is fantastic. I'm sitting here drinking an Indian beer and listening to some entertaining Karaoke. They really should be busier than they are.
