Finally found a spot in Columbus that has good Indian food! Great service and the prices are very reasonable. My go to dishes are paneer tikka masala and saag paneer. They're a little different than other Indian places, but different in a good way. The garlic naan is some of the best I've ever had, I could eat it on its own and be happy. We each were going to eat our food in our own hotel rooms so we asked for our food to be packed based on what each person offered. The food took much, much longer than anticipated. However, it was worth the wait. I had the Fish Biryani, Chicken Lollipops, and Chicken Hot & Sour Soup. The portions were huge! Everything was really good. I liked my Indian Chinese soup. It was different but in a good way. The lollipops were fried chicken which I should've realized before ordering. They weren't very healthy. I probably should've gone with Tandoori Chicken instead. While the food was great, there are a few things that make this destination rank low on my local list. The service was decent in the way they great you and explaining dishes and choices, but getting them to take your order even with a nearly empty restaurant can take a while. We ended up waiting close to 25-30 minutes to order. After it would be another 30 to 35 minutes to get food. After you get your dishes it can take a while for them to check back in on you. As for take out, getting boxes is fine it you dont mind getting up and grabbing your own as they wont bring it to you. Honestly it is not a place I would visit again dispite how good the food is, I just can't wait that long for it. If your curious about the food you could always order online. read more

I've only recently been turned on to Indian cuisine but have been told by many of my friends who native borne that this is as close as you can get to back home. My wife and I got the Vijayawada biryanis along with the Rajugari Kodi Pulav and it was soooo good. There really isn't any other cuisine like it. We also got a side of garlic naan. Then when we finished we talked with some of the servers about how great the food was and they brought my wife and I this desert in the picture on the house. Hyderabad House is one of my go to places for Indian food especially for biryanis and dosa. I have diner here few times but majority gotten take out. The management is friendly and prompt. They get super busy on the weekends with hour long wait lines. I usually order on the app and pick up such days. Nothing I have had from their menu has been disappointing. The food quality and quantity has always been super consistent. I usually get their chicken 65, Ulvacharu biryani, dum biryani or Avakai biryani. They do have Indian desserts as well inform of ice creams and pastries. From ambiance standpoint, the restaurant has limited seating but seating is clean. I've only ordered delivery from here, and it is amazing (Fulfilled by Grubhub, and arrived on time). We got the Vijayawada Chicken Biiyani, Goat Andhra Curry, Mutton Rara, as well as the Bread Basket (assortment of Naan). We each tried everything and agreed on the deliciousness of all the items. We asked for medium to very spicy for our food, and the spiciness levels were perfect for our tastes. (If you can't tolerate spicy food well, I highly recommend sticking with the mild rating.) Both the goat Andhra and mutton Rara were jam-packed with flavor, but you could still taste the gamey flavors of the meat themselves which is a definite plus for anyone who loves goat/lamb. The Vijayawada Chicken was super tasty as well. Like all biryani, the really good stuff is at the bottom, hidden by all the rice, but even without mixing it up, if you just take a bite straight off the top, it was really flavorful. The meat for all the dishes were very tender. Also the portions were pretty large. We had leftovers of all the dishes for the next day. Finally, the Bread Basket: a must if you're ordering in a group of 3 or more. It's a great deal and you get to try all the different naan/roti, which we all found really good. I went after 1 hr and still food was not ready. When asked , I was told its lready in progress, so I thought may be another 10 minutes. But even after next 25 minutes, no sign of food. Now I was running out of patience and asked to cancel my order and it seems with that they started making my order. Next 10 minutes, I had my order. So no much change from previous management to new management when it comes to time for your order. Food tasted ok . Not too great. This place is something else. After saying I'll never order from them last time, on the recommendation of a friend, I made the mistake again! Placed an online order this time. It showed 45 minutes for pickup. I called immediately to see if it will be done any sooner. Instead, they ended up telling me that they don't have the Biriyani and also RavaDosa today. Sadly I needed up cancelling. He told me that it may take 2-3 days to get credit card refund. Wait and see I guess! I love writing positive reviews and only a negative one when there is a glaring issue. Two times back to back. Yet to actually try their food!! Disappointed and annoyed beyond words. UPDATE: saga continues. No refund. Three days have gone by. Called today. Here is the response...Sir can you call tomorrow? Manager is on leave today and owner is not available. I've been here a handful of times now. It is in a great location. I feel that they never get the spice level right. As someone who loves food packed with heat I started off with telling them thought I wanted it spicy end it would always be so overpowering that it would just be hot with no flavor. So the following times I requested mild and received the same amount of spice. It is very inconsistent and therefore it is hard to continue to order from this establishment because I never know exactly how the food will taste. I understand that there will be inconsistencies but I do not feel that my requests are not being followed through. Also they are incredibly busy and have tons of to go orders regardless of the time of day and wait times end up being well over 30 minutes. Hyderabad House at perimeter Loop. Zero Stars. The restaurant staff if un apologetic about their behavior or service. We ordered today a Karapodi Gobi, and we got hot stones covered in veggies. The waiter was nice enough to convey that to the Cheff but the response from the Cheff was amazing the Cheff said a re order would be just as the original hot stones with veggies. The folks at counter are also rocks with very little to no expression on their faces. UN WELCOMING ILL MANNERED WORST FOOD. This is a Gordon Ramsey's real Hell kitchen. I paid the check and stood at the counter to have a conversation. I talked to the person and provided my feedback. Like I previously stated the persons face is also a rock, no apology no dialogue all he cared is I paid the bill. There are 2 persons who are always on counter taking orders the entire restaurant needs human touch.
