I've been coming here since I moved to the neighborhood two years ago, and the fact that I was made to feel like a liar by someone who probably is not at all part of our community is troubling. Now I am nervous to put more money in there cos I don't want to be in the same situation again. I need the owner(s) to rectify this situation with me soon.

This is unusual for a laundromat because of all the electromagnetic machines that creates electromagnetic field's. I was lucky enough to meet the owner Nick in 2014. I was curious to find out what his secret was about the cellphone signal being so awesome. Nick was nice enough and told me that "if you look at the ceiling there are repeaters". This is very important for me since the work I do doesn't allow my work smartphone to be able to connect to Wi-Fi. I needed a iPhone charging cable because my battery was dying rapidly. I asked if they have a cable I can borrow w/o hesitation the lady at the register gave me one to use with out a hubcap attached to it, lol. I was there late-night and a gentleman with his small poodle came looking for his wife's wedding ring. The person that was in charge was new so he made a quick phone call & with-in minutes Nicks father brought him his ring which was from the Edwardian Era. Me and my wife own expensive shirts some costing close to $1000. I recently had a newborn baby boy. I choose to use Lost Sock to wash all his laundry as well. I recently relocated to the city last year for work. I bring all of our families laundry to Lost Sock specifically because I don't trust anyone else to handle our laundry needs.

The owner said they are too busy to fold well and that I would need to pay for pressing or dry cleaning. She also said no one else has complained and implied it is only me. Now, I'm a guy who is probably about as great at folding as the next guy, but even I could tell these were just quickly rolled/folded together that they probably would have looked the same if just kept in the bar after drying. I'm just so confused by the owner too. She kept bringing up unrelated things like the costs. I have no problem paying extra if needed. She was mentioning other things rather than what I was calling about. I simply paid for the wash and fold service and know clearly understand this place is not the place to go. They are just ok if you need a place to go to do your own laundry like I usually do, but owners (both the husband and wife) have a way of making you feel in their way every time you are there. I walked in at 3pm after loading everything in one machine and about to walk out the lady had said she is closing at 4. She changed the time and made it clear I wouldn't be able to dry my clothes and They clearly wasted my time. I was not going to take wet clothes home so I stayed until my machine dried. i understand it was Christmas Eve but they had the audacity to tell me the time change after I loaded everything. Really bad customer service and poor communication.

I haven't been back to jiffy jeff's in about 6 months since what happened to me on my last visit. My friend Trisha just told me that, that manager who treated me so badly on my last visit had left. She doesn't work there anymore. So I decided to go back and see for myself on how everything is now a days. Seriously WTF is up with that place. Why is everybody there acting so bitchy and so like I don't care attitude. Employees over there should wear name tags. Because it would be nice to know who I'm talking with. Why are the managers acting so mean and so stupid over there. The new manager is again another female. Taller then the last one with short blonde hair who looks like a lesbian and has a very bitchy get out of my face attitude. How is that place still in business with such bad managers. No wonder why the employees over there are behaving so badly around customers. It's because of managers like the last one who left and the lesbian one. The owner is a man I heard. I never seen him. So I wonder if he's the same as the females. He must be since he hires bitchy managers. Even that older lady who's name is Mary something is also a mean and unpleasant person. She was coughing like if she was sick as she was doing laundry. That's very disgusting and really gross. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES THERE. Employees are sick and coughing right into your clothes as they are being folded. Managers who act like idiots, employees who are sick and some cannot speak English, No empty machines to do laundry, Service is just bad. Some of the workers over there seem nice. I said some. This review is purely for self-service. I have come here three times and I can tell you that this third time is the last. They have newly renovated and, quite frankly, you would never know it. The machines are constantly being used by the girls who work there for drop off service leaving NO empty machines for anyone who wants to do their own. Furthermore, they are very rude and very unhelpful. There is always detergent and such left over from the previous person used the machine and they never clean thme out. When I asked them to clean out some left over fabric softener they looked at me like I was crazy. There machines are very small and very expensive and are not able to pick up dry detergent in the compartment. I was looking forward to Jiffy Jeff's reopening because it would be very convenient but it seems as though I will have to find somewhere else. PS Who is in charge there? The only people I ever see there are the teenage girls who monolopoize the machines. read more

The owner's wife charged me $25; that's fine, they charged me that on my last pair. While on the train, the husband calls me to tell me that it's $40 to clean them ... we went back and forth and I agreed because I do all my dry cleaning there; well I used to. I went to pick them on Holy Thursday before work and noticed the material had been damaged. The husband was there and after some negotiating he said to bring the receipt; clearly I had mentioned that the shoes cost me $165. That very day after work I went to purchase another pair and brought him the receipt. Now in good faith, I went in Good Friday morning to see them. I brought him the new pair so he can see the material as well as the black pair that I owe and I was wearing a purple pair. The husband wasn't there, the wife started yelling that we had agreed on 165$ and the receipt was for $180 ... yes there is tax on them but I would take the $165. She then went on to say the deal was with her husband so to come back. This past Tuesday I passed by again after work with a copy of the receipt of the new pair, dropped it off with the wife and she said her husband would call me when he finished up at the other location; as they have several. Today is Friday .... No phone call nothing. I went back just now to ask where my money was, the wife said " take your shoes, there's nothing wrong with them" I couldn't believe it ... after all this time, now they didn't want to give me anything.
