The office personnel were apologetic about it. No, problem, these things happen. They said they had already gotten the parts, so I elected to bring it back that following Monday, since I had some things a had to do with my truck over the weekend. I dropped my truck off the following Monday before work and was able to pick it by the end of the week. I can't remember the last time my stick shifted so smoothly, or the pedal felt so easy to depress. Thanks guys!

That evening, the manager called and said he wasn't certain about the transmission but was very sure the water pump was shot and so was the idler pulley bearing. I agreed and they replaced both on the following day. She runs like a top now and the transmission is fine.
