When I pulled up, I was waved inside the garage even though all I needed was to have my tire pressure checked (the light was on). The young man was very nice, he quickly topped off my air pressure, and asked if the check engine light was on as well. He told me what was wrong and how to fix it (it's something I was able to take care of myself). If I have any other issues, I'll certainly come back. read more

Went in for an oil change. The gentleman I was speaking with kept offering additional services like brake fluid or transmission fluid for additional money. And he would quote me a price with every addition I wanted to add. I declined everything and stated I only wanted an oil change and that's it. He said okay your total will be around 90$. Then later on he asked if I'd like them to change my air filter. He didn't say it would cost more money or anything and the way he said it sounded like he would just do it. No mention of how much it would cost. I said yes and once I was given my total it was now 215$. I asked the guy what happened to my 90$ price and he said the air filter costs that much. I didn't even have that much money in my account as I wasn't planning on putting down 200$ for an oil change. Perhaps this is my fault for not knowing things but the gentleman helping me was not transparent in the slightest. I hate this place pls don't go here. read more

Jason who I guess is the General Manager was very rude to my daughter and I. He would not let us walk across the street to the mall even though we were there 45 minutes before closing time. They told us they would be done in 45 minutes but won't let us cross the parking lot or he would lock up our car if we weren't back in time in the shop. I assured him we would be back before 4pm but he said we would have to stay in their hot stinky waiting room if they were to do the service. I was told by my Honda Dealership that i only need my coolant replaced so I came here to get it replaced and then they supposedly checked the rest of my car to see if anything else needed to be worked and I was told that everything was all good . . . then every car notification for replacements or malfunctions appeared on my car 2 days later and I had to sell the car and buy a new one since everything would've costed way too much. Wouldn't recommend this place because they'll probably fix something and mess something else up so you can come back and give them more money. read more

I've made it to this Jiffy Lube 3 times now for a simple oil change and I've never been disappointed. As others have mentioned the staff is fast, friendly, and professional. I see some comments on price, however if you go with a coupon (which you can find almost anywhere) prices are on par. I'm writing specifically on my most recent experience. As usual, I had my coupon for a regular oil change and was greeted by the staff to bring my car into the garage. I stood in the lobby to get checked in for 15 minutes wondering if I had been forgotten about, however I noticed there were only two guys working and one of them looked pretty occupied on fixing someone else's truck. Finally a guy came in to apologize for the delay and explained they're current situation. Not only were they short handed, but the whole computer system was down to process anyone. Due to the late time of day I came in, the staff told me that it would take at least another 30 minutes to get technical support on the phone and check me in. The staff said to keep my coupon, give me a regular oil change, and let me go on my way. I was a little confused by the offer of a FREE oil change, but I went with it. The staff member still followed their standard protocol of showing me the full dip stick and what not. All I could do was thank the guy and go on my way. Seriously stellar customer service at this Jiffy Lube, being able to confidently explain their current situation and work with me to ensure I left a happy customer. The third time's the charm at this Jiffy Lube and it's definitely earned my future business. Thanks for the oil change! read more

The place was fast and friendly. No complaints there. As other reviews have said they do only talk about their upgraded service which costs quite a bit more than the basic oil change. So if you are good about keeping fluids topped off and/or know how to keep an eye on everything and don't feel like getting the interior vacuumed then stick with their basic oil change which is about $28. Otherwise they will default you to about $50 worth of services without checking with you very closely. On the other hand their upgrade service isn't really that bad *if* you don't take your car to a mechanic very often and/or don't keep an eye on things very closely yourself especially if its an older car. So really if I could give half star ratings I'd really go more like 3.5 because they weren't pushy about the extras it's just they didn't mention choices, I had to bring up the cheaper service. Except for that, I felt they did a good job and fast too. read more

I just took my work vehicle here for an oil change. It is a chevy trailblazer so nothing out of the ordinary. They changed the oil and filter, nothing else, and not synthetic oil. Total cost was $95.50. Unbelievable! read more

This place truly impressed me when I needed a quick oil change. They were fast and friendly. They took me out to my car after and went through step-by-step everything they checked and showed me all of my levels of fluids. They even found that Woodmen Nissan forgot to add some tranny fluid after getting my transmission flushed and filled it without any complaints and told me to come back in soon to re-check my levels. I have been a long time customer of Jiffy Lube (20 yrs plus), and I absolutely will find somewhere other than Academy and Austin Bluffs to take my vehicle. Their staff deliberately asked me to call back the next day to have a transaction corrected to reflect a Groupon I had purchased that morning before the oil change - then today when I spoke with the manager he advised because it was no longer the SAME BUSINESS DAY that he couldn't fix the issue. They also did a high mileage oil change without asking to check when the last one made my vehicle run so rough the dashboard rattled at stoplights. More expensive and worse vehicle performance - will not return. I wish this could be zero stars for horrible service, deliberately shady upselling, and dishonest staff trying to avoid correcting an issue. read more

All good with the oil change. Just a couple of things im not happy about. The "reminder sticker" fell off immediately so now I have to keep it somewhere as to not forget the next oil change. NEVER go there!! My daughter went today...she's 20 and they saw an opportunity. They automatically told her that something was wrong with her car and that she needed the upgraded oil change. Then they all gathered around the car, put on a show and told her that they would not do the oil change and that the car is not safe to drive and that she should go to Car Care 2000 right away - her bearers were gone! They did not listen to anything she was saying. Needless to say she was freaking out. She took it to our regular mechanic right away and he saw NOTHING wrong with the car. He even went out of his way and called Jiffy Lube to get a clear understanding of what they said was wrong. Never ever go here. Especially to this location! They shorted me 3 qts of oil and after I went there my car started overheating. Interesting cause it never happened until I went here. Better to find a trustworthy mechanic (which is right where I went after my visit with Jiffy Lube). Jiffy Lube could have 'fried' my engine'. I knew something wasn't right. I was out 50 bucks but I was able to get to a real mechanic just in time. I will never do business with them again. I am not alone in my disastrous service with them. There are thousands of complaints online about their company as well. I posted a complaint on their facebook page, and my complaint as well as several other complaints posted by other customers throughout the USA were deleted by Jiffy Lube and they blocked me as well as those other posters. If they can't address an issue in public then they are hiding something. DO NOT give them your e mail. They will send you coupons and bother you nonstop. Then when you try to unsubscribe you cant. Look under 'Jiffy Lube Investigation' on YouTube and you can judge for yourself IF you entrust your vehicle to these people. read more
