Look underneath and magically my O2 sensor loosened and is still in the bung but wobbling around. Re-tightened the sensor, cleared the code. Good for the last 100+ miles. The fat fu*k who performed the inspection should be canned, but he'd probably just find another job at another inspection place ripping people off. I previously had a good experience here. Never again. Hope it was worth the filter upsell and windshield wipers. I can't wait till they get rid of shiesty f*cks like these places. If it wasn't for the few measly dollars you bring in for the State your ass would be out of business in a heartbeat. Good thing it's pretty easy to find other inspection stations.

PETER was the mechanic who specifically told me multiple times a NEW compressor was needed. PETER never discussed a reman. My car was ready for pick up the next day. I asked for paperwork of everything they replaced. They said no worries will email you. NEVER received an email. I called that following Monday, because my car had NEW sounds and the fan was struggling to run.PETER SAID NOT TO WORRY! My husband brought the car up there that Friday after the air stopped working, and I was told PETER NEVER showed up to work that day. We asked to speak to the general manager, they said they would have the district manager call us. Adam who is the district manager for grease monkey called, and was very disrespectful. Taking no accountability for what his mechanic who obviously didn't do the job correctly. We demanded for a different mechanic to see what the issue was. Adam sent one over who again didn't know what he was doing and my husband told the mechanic to not to put STOPS LEAK in the system. Well he did anyways! My husband took pics as he was walking to car to see what the mechanic was doing. We told Adam what happened and again nothing but attitude. He sent over another mechanic from a different shop, but we were grateful for that, because Greyson found the paperwork and seen 2 reman AC compressors were put into the car, and grease monkey charged me for 2 AC compressors! The first one had a leak and so does the second AC compressor! We told Adam and he could care less what we found making excuses and basically calling us liars! I HAVE THAT RECORDED! We took our vehicle to another shop, who did a diagnostic on it. My car has 5k worth of damage because of grease monkey! I have Freon leaking from the reman AC compressor, and the rest of the components are trashed from STOPS LEAK! Adam also stated they are losing money! WELL IF YOU DID THE JOB CORRECTLY YOU WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO REFUND MONEY! Adam also refused to give us his bosses # Jerry Bonnet, but because what I do for a living. I found an email and sent over the issues! We are dealing with corporate in hope they compensate for the damages they caused. If not, we are taking legal action! We have also reported Grease monkey to the BBB!

Wanting to make sure this new (used) car was safe I opted for both inspections. Within a couple hours I was sent a detailed list of things from their courtesy inspection that needed repair along with photos. And soon after received a phone call with the details and he was happy to help with any questions I had. My reasoning for a missing star was I asked for the details on the $159 inspection and was told everything looked great, but that could have been because the seller wiped it clean (?!). I'm just your typical women who knows nothing about cars and had no idea this was possible. I felt taken advantage of for not being told about this before I agreed to pay $159. On top of that, there was some kind of $12 fee I was not told about that brought my total to $172 after taxes. I really appreciate their kind customer service and their nice clean waiting room but I would still recommend anyone who has no clue about cars to ask around before spending money here.

It's been a couple of years since I had that car and I now know that those are very clear signs of a bad transmission. Something these people would definitely have known, but instead decided to hide behind not being able to read what was wrong with the car because the battery didn't have any history on it. BAD people, I hope no one else has to go through this.

Bay Auto provided me with nothing but honest, friendly, thorough, and amazing service…read more I had been getting hit over the head by another vehicle repair company, and so many people kept telling me "take it to Bay Auto," but I had been so busy I just went with what I knew. Recently, I had my vehicle at the other repair shop, they wanted to charge me for the following (their words verbatim via text message) "The hourly charge is 159. We would need to change out the brake fluid. The part is 97.95. It also calls for 4 hours to replace that hose. So the total after parts, labor and tax is $1,169.35." I knew right then in there I needed to get my vehicle to Bay Auto. I called Bay Auto, Tim answered right away and told me "bring it in, and we will take a look at it and take care of you." I had my vehicle towed to Bay Auto, and from there they took care of everything over the phone for me. My car stayed parked in their garage safe over the weekend. Come Monday afternoon Tim calls and tells me the exact same issue with my car but the price is $356.89!!!!!! My HEART DROPPED and I cried tears of joy. The relief I had was so indescribable. I had been stressing on how in the world I was going to come up with the funds. I didn't need to stress anymore because BAY AUTO was taking care of my vehicle at a way more reasonable price. I told Tim my car was about to hit 100,000 and my vehicle app kept telling me to refer to the handbook. Tim told me he would check it out, take a look at what needs to be done then get back with me. Next day Tim called me and let me know everything looked good but the handbook does recommend a transmission flush but it was completely up to me if I wanted Bay Auto to do it now or come back at another time. I told Tim to go head and knock it out, and they did. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!! The customer service is great, the environment is great, staff are friendly, realistic, and humble. The team at Bay Auto do their best to work with all their customers. Thank you Bay Auto!!!
