Fast, efficient, didn't try to rip me off, had a coupon that they honored. They didn't try to sell me more things than I actually needed. Some of the other quick oil places will bring in dirty filters and recommend replacement. Not this place, they were honest and said it was a little dirty but not enough to warrant changing it. Disappointed. I didn't expect much, but I did expect to get everything I paid for. I purchased the "signature service" oil change, but it was just an oil change. They didn't do anything other than change the oil, which isn't what they advertised. My visit started when I pulled up and there were two cars in front of me when a young man came out to say it would be more than an hour before I could get my oil changed. I had nothing else to do so I waited, which it turned into maybe 20 minutes at most. I felt like they were trying to discourage me from staying, so they didn't need to work. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal, but it wasn't necessary a stellar service. "This isn't your standard oil change. I recently had my oil changed and tires rotated, earlier this month, on my 2019 Chevy equinox. 21k miles. When my requested services were done, they proceeded to tell me that my brakes and pads were all "shot", rusted and falling off. and that it wasn't a good idea to drive much longer on them. They even made sure to tell me that I should absolutely get them done before the winter weather hits too bad l. And I quote "well I would hate to see you out there on ice and snow and have issues. We don't know when they could fail". I'm a mom, so hearing that scared me and put me into a panic. He told me they could "get it done" that day for $1000. This was confusing considering I just had the car inspected by another shop in October and it was a newer vehicle with only 21k miles. I decided to return to my normal mechanic for him to take a look. He lifted it, inspected everything and even took photos for me. He told me that my brakes "couldn't have been any newer" and that there were absolutely no concerns with them. My biggest mistake was trying to get my oil changed quick and settling on Jiffy Lube. I should have stuck with my trusted mechanic who is honest, fair and trustworthy. Now, my question is..... had I not taken a moment and gotten a second opinion, Jiffy Lube would have BASICALLY robbed me of $1000. A grand that I absolutely do not have to spare right now. You see a female walk in and you assume they won't double check things and you take advantage of the situation, and I'm absolutely not OK with that. I am disgusted by how you all tried to get one over on me, put me in SHEER panic mode thinking I was placing my child in danger every time I put him into the vehicle, and stressed over a financial issue I didn't think I could avoid. I would like a return call/email, whatever. This kind of BS needs to stop. Women are not prey, and quite frankly, we are a lot smarter than you all think. But thank you so much for having me nearly in tears everytime I had to drive anywhere. Worst place to just get a donut tire removed to patch up my tire. This was 5 months and when the patches up my tire. When I left the air bag came up. I took it back and was told to take it to the dealer. While the sensor showed and talked to the owner I was told that he had a friend that could look at my car and never heard back from the owner after a few calls. I finally took my car to the dealership and was told it was the coil spring. I drove the card since July until now fixed but a local mechanic. Still my odometer does not show but my tire pressure. That will be fixed when I have money. I will never go back to this place. I also had a flat and had aaa come put the donut tire and said ! On my dashboard. I had to get a new tire. read more

Hello, I have a huge problem and need assistance from the owners at Jiffy Lube in Douglassville, PA 19518 I went to Jiffy Lube on Nov 4th, 2023, to get an oil change before our upcoming trip to New York on Nov 5th. I got the oil changed and paid my bill. I went to the WAWA very close to the Jiffy Lube (0.4 mile) to get gas. As I was pumping, I looked back at the store and down to the ground and saw a very long trail of wet spots leading up to my car. I thought to myself "oh my god I hope that's not oil"?... I walk from the back of my car around to the driver's side and see a HUGE puddle of oil! I called Jiffy Lube immediately and they said just bring it back, so nonchalantly, like I was overreacting. I have the picture of the puddle. I asked the man on the phone is it okay to drive back he said yes just bring it right back... They pulled the car in the garage spot and after about 10 minutes of everyone who was working at the time looking under my hood, a man who said he was the assistant manager came out and said, that my car has two filters (or gaskets) and when they changed the oil, they missed one, and obviously it didn't seal correctly against the one they forgot to change. So, oil spewed all over the inside of my hood and all over the engine. I am now paranoid that something is going to happen to my car I asked him 5 times is my car, okay? will it be, okay?... did this ruin something in my car? ...So now he says to me "we'll fix this at no charge".... like it was a huge favor? what?!? The fix is done they pull my car out of the garage and park it in the front they initial the paperwork and tell me that the manager will call me Monday morning and that they made notes on my receipt, so the manager knows what happened. I ask again my car is okay right? Assistant manager says, yes, it will be fine to drive. I go to get in my car, and it smells horrible, I ask the young man who is standing by my car, omg what is that smell? he said... the oil burning off of your engine! Monday came and went, the manager NEVER called. I called him on Tuesday morning, and he was so UNCONCERNED, said you can take it to the car wash and was the oil off the engine, and I said, "I can take it to the car wash"??? Then he changed to well, I can take it to the car wash for you if you need me to? or you can buy engine gunk and do it yourself... bring me the bill for the gunk and I'll pay it..... I take it to the car wash and try to wash the burnt oil off. I ask you what women knows how to do this? I thought everything was okay until fast forward to December 19th. I am at work in Lafayette Hill (about an hour away) I start my car, oh no, it won't turn over just kind of makes that dead battery sound, I think dead battery. I get maintenance to give me a jump, car starts right away and then... EVERY LIGHT GOES CRAZY every light that tells me something is wrong, flashed and then went back to normal, so I assume, because it had a dead battery that it was some kind of reset. I put the car in reverse, and it feels like my brake is engaged, omg this isn't right, I put the car in drive and move very slowly three spaces from where I parked this morning. My car dies every light turns black; the steering locked up as I try to pull into a parking space, it just died. I call Subaru America because I bought that extended warranty, they will tow my Subaru Cross Trek to the nearest dealer. The nearest dealer is in Norristown 5 miles from where I work, I'm thinking easy fix a new battery. Subaru calls me that night to say they are very busy and won't be able to take a look at it until at least Thursday Dec 21, they give me a loaner car on Wednesday Dec 22. They call me on Thursday and say they have very bad news. Then they ask, "who changed your oil last"?...oh no Jiffy Lube did. I ask why what is wrong? He tells me, there is oil all throughout your alternator and battery and the terminals, it's almost like it is soldered together. There is oil everywhere it should not be under this hood. i don't know why Jiffy Lube thought this was a way to send a car home. I don't know if it can be fixed???????????????? OMG NO!! They will call me asap and let me know IF it can be fixed!! On Friday Dec 22, they called and said that they can fix the car, but my warranty will not cover it since Jiffy Lube changed my oil last time and this is a result of all of that oil spewing all over my engine and everywhere else. The car will cost approximately $1580.00 to fix! And they will not have it done until maybe next week. Subaru took pictures of the car and emailed them to me Can someone please contact me? read more
