I usually go to Tires Plus, but the wait time is horrendous there & they always try to upsell you. The whole waiting room was full, so I came here. The people are SO NICE. & they changed my oil SO FAST! I stayed in my car the whole time. It's a little more expensive, but not much at all. & it's worth the great service! Workers looked lethargic, probably because of the heat. Paid way too much for this oil change Was hoping to get some quality work done for a long trip. I came in from out of town low on oil and unfortunately this particular Jiffy Lube was the closest. I left there with not enough oil and had to buy more after I was 40 miles out of town traveling north because my engine oil light came on. I called there twice about it and they never wanted to reimburse me for the oil that I had to buy. Interestingly enough, I had another bad experience at a Jiffy Lube in North Carolina, where they punctured holes in the driver seat, but at least they reimbursed me. These guys in Florida couldn't even reimburse me 40 bucks. read more

I wanted to send a picture about the dishonest staff that tried to show me the oil level on my motor was right, for it was not. This was only after I returned to this shop because their oil fill was too little and I had to add oil after my check engine light came on. As a customer with a fleet account and having no leaks on our vehicle, I said to the manager I would close my account for the discourtesy. Sitting here in the lobby for over an hour promoted me to write this out of distaste for yet another sloppy shop that seemingly promotes dishonesty. After our confrontation the service was completed satisfactorily. I'll be looking for another shop. read more

I came in for an oil change before a long car trip. I'm used to the upsell I get when I visit and sometimes even agree to what they're suggesting. This time it was that my freon level was low and needed a charge. Like I said before, I was about to go on a long car trip. I'd felt like my ac had recently been getting weaker so told them to go ahead. It was going to be about $150+ for everything. Half an hour later I was told that there was a leak in my ac system and I'd have to take it to a professional to get it fixed. There was now no ac at all. This morning I took my car to a place local to my trip's destination. I arrived about five minutes before my appointment. It took them five minutes to determine there was no leak and to recharge my ac system. It almost took longer to get the bill generated and paid then it did to "fix" the leak. read more

I've used the Main St Jiffy Lube numerous times and for good reason. They do a good job and it's very convenient. Service is always friendly and professional. Yes, Jiffy Lube seems a bit overpriced but you are paying for convenience and consistency. If I take it to my trusted mechanic, I have to leave my car there for the day. Jiffy Lube is open from 8 am to 6 pm and the guys who have helped me get the job done - and fast. The waiting room has coffee and water and lots of magazines and is clean and pleasant. Today I went and they were efficient and very courteous. I paid an extra $3 for a coolant top-off, which I don't recall paying for before. I decline the non-urgent suggestions for add on services and there's no pressure. This time, I asked about new windshield wipers and got a set for $20 (for a Honda Accord) - Jiffy Lube had a buy one get one special. I asked because I'd just priced these at an auto part store for about $10 more. So that was a good deal. Plus I found an online coupon while I waited and got $5 off. Thanks, Jiffy Lube! read more

After asking if they had checked wiper fluids, tire pressure, coolant etc. The service attendant assured me that they had. Upon finding time to follow up and check behind them found tire pressure to be low and washer reservoir was almost empty. That leaves me to wonder about the rest of the " service ". Once I'm lied to and I catch them in it especially when it relates to something as costly as vehicle maintenance that's a major red flag. My advice to any potential customer is to avoid this location like the plague. read more

The service is always good here when I come in for a oil change. They also greet me nicely even with my speech impediment and help me get my oil change done quickly. Pulled into the Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. The staff seemed friendly. I told the manager specifically not to pull out my dipstick but he had the tech do it anyway because he thought he knew my car better than I did and broke my dipstick losing the stick into the shaft. I am very unhappy with my service at this location. Employees blatantly disregard their customers concerns and do whatever they want. But the operations manager has broken my car what is Jiffy Lube going to do to replace it. No answer yet. I was asked to come back on Monday to talk to the general manager. I unexpectedly needed an oil change for my Winnebago Travato on my first day of my trip north. I called six or more places without luck (it's a tall -- 9'6" -- and heavy RV). I finally called Jiffy Lube on Main Street. They weren't sure about the height of their doors but I took the chance. The doors were plenty high, they had a pit to service from below (so didn't need a heavy-duty lift), and they got me right in. It was an hour out of my way but, they got the job done and now I don't have to worry all the way home. I highly recommend the folks working here. They were professional and friendly. Awesome place for an oil change. Went in around 2:30pm on a Sunday, and it only took about 15 minutes. Most importantly, they did NOT try to sell me things I didn't need! So many oil places bring out dirty filters, even if you just got them changed! Honest and helpful! read more

Worst service ever!!!! Took over an hour, and they didn't complete the service that was paid for. No washed windows, no windshield wiper fluid, no apology for lack of customer service or wait time. I HAD TO BE TOWED OUT OF THE PARKING LOT after my car wouldn't start. Firestone confirmed that oil leaked onto my starter during the oil change and I had to replace the starter. Jiffy Lube District manager would except no fault and only offered a discount on future service. DO NOT GO THERE!!! read more

I went in by myself yesterday for an oil change. I'm 9 months pregnant and probably looked like an easy target. The technician told me that my battery charge was a little bit low and immediately said that he could sell me a new one at a discounted rate. I told him thanks but no thanks and let him know that I would be looking into it later. He went back to finishing up my oil change, which took all of 5 minutes, then came in and told me that my battery was completely dead. Of course he immediately repeated that he would sell me a $120 battery for $95. I knew that I could probably find a better deal somewhere else, so I asked him if he could just jump me and I would do some price comparisons and get back to him. His response was that they do not have jumper cables at Jiffy Lube. I was pretty skeptical, so I just kind of blankly stared at him. He said that he would go to the business next door and get a battery charger. Once he hooked it up, my car was running in about 2 minutes flat. I left, picked up my husband, and guess what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with my battery. My lights are nice and bright, there is no hesitation when I start it. I didn't even give the alternator 5 minutes to charge it before I turned it off and started it up again. read more

This is my neighborhood Jiffy Lube, and I have had very regular oil changes there since 2012, and the service used to be great. Now, I won't be going back. Last time I took my car in, about 3 months ago, I went on a Wednesday to get the ladies day discount that I ALWAYS received. I went to the counter to get the run-down of my car, I mentioned the pricing to the guy and very rudly he told me that Jiffy Lube hasn't done the ladies day discount in over a year. I informed him that that was not the case for me, as I had an oil change within the previous 6 months and received the discount. I understand if corporate changes their policy and does away with a discount like that, but the appropriate customer service should be applied to the situation. The way this guy dealt with the situation left me feeling like an idiot and doubting myself (I went home and checked my bank statements and I was correct). This employee also informed me that my coolant was low and must be replaced now. I declined. He proceeded to tell me that I should not drive more than a couple of miles without replacing it, and it was very dangerous for me to drive at all. I still declined and he was obviously frustrated with me. When he left the room I called my boyfriend to tell him about my experience because I was so offended by the way this guy treated me. I'm not sure if he overheard my conversation, because when the employee came back in the lobby for me to pay it was as if I was talking to a completely different person. He apologized for his previous attitude and offered me $5 off for the misunderstanding. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was having a bad day, so I decided to go back. I returned two days ago for my next oil change, told them my usual "I just want the basic stuff done, please". I never get any of the add-on's or upgrades, I have a family friend mechanic that does all other repairs. Of course they still feel the need to explain all details and recommendations before you leave. Again, I understand corporate has specific guidelines and regulations for the employees to follow, so I endured the same employee as before telling me the whole list of things I should get repaired TODAY so my car doesn't break. I declined everything as usual. When he got to my battery he proceeded to tell me that my battery was at 200 instead of 600 (whatever the measurement is), and then stared at me in silence, I guess waiting for me to say let's fix it. I declined. He then proceeded to explain to me why my battery was a piece of crap, how I have the worst type and cheapest battery possible, and the ones they offer are unbeatable for the price and the 5 year warranty. I again declined. He then brought me over to my car to explain it all again showing me to 'wear' on my battery and told me the importance of replacing it now. I still declined. He told me there was no way I would find a better deal, no one has a 5 year warranty on batteries, and for only $99.99 and left me feeling again like an idiot. I also had an indicator light come on in my dash. This was not talked about until I was getting in my car to leave, and was not written on my sheet as a recommended fix. He did tell me I could go to an auto parts store and they will test the indicator light for free. Two days later I went into an auto store to get the light tested (which turned out to be a very minor issue) and I got my battery tested, twice. Both times the battery tested at just above 500 (whatever units of measurement), almost perfectly fine, and in no way needing to be replaced. I am not sure if the information I was given was because of bad testing tools, lack of knowledge, or trying to meet a sales quota. Either way, the way I was treated completely uncalled for, and the public needs to know. The main reason I am writing this is in the hopes that someone higher up will read it and fix the problems at this location, and that someone will read this review and it will prevent them from being screwed over and spending unnecessary money. I am not sure if I was treated like this because I am female, I hope that's not the case, but I do hope it will prevent another female (or male) from being treated the same way. As a customer we have the right to decline Jiffy Lube's recommendations, and should not be mistreated if we do. read more
