There was an incredibly rude older individual on shift, no respect for me or his staff. I came in for an oil change and right off the bat he came off hostile and was heard yelling at the other employees like he was their superior the entire time. For anyone needing an oil change, a service from Jiffy Lube was quoted for 120$, 40$ more than a local dealership. A complete rip off. Mind you this was for a small car that takes 4 qts of oil and oil filter parts totaling less than 30$. Highly recommend NOT using Jiffy Lube for ANYTHING. read more

Absolutely the worst place in Hermiston to get an oil change. I have 0 good things to say about this place. Manager doesn't keep his word, concerns never get addressed. Things happen I understand but when customer service and issues arise I as a consumer should be taken care of and not ignored?!?! I was prepared for some price gouging but not with the attitude and to this degree. Purchased the same fully synthetic oil and a new filter from BiMart for under $50.00. I was quoted $140 for an oil change after the 'technician' eventually understood that my vehicle did in fact take 10 quarts of oil. That is $90.00 for 20 minutes or so. And there is a market for used motor oil. The pricing was bad but the rude service was just too much. Used to get oil changed here regularly but place has really gone down hill. read more

The one star is for today. One hour wait with crazy, noisy, and unruly kids and my car is just now on the block. Usually the wait is less but still not as fast as in Salem. It could be that Salem just gets the Jiffy part better, I don't know. It is unfortunately that the family with the kids was there before and I got to go before them. I was vocal about the wait and visibily irritated as I paid. I was told when I paid that my back up lights were not working. In the guy's favor he said it would be cheaper if I went to AutoZone. I did and that is when I discovered my back up lights were working perfectly. I am thinking I'll just wait next time and when I take a trip back to Salem to visit my family go to Oil Can Henry's where I have always been treated well and I can sit in my car and avoid noisy families. read more

We went to get a oil change and my car only take full synthetic oil, we get there they give me prices and we specifically said what's the lowest cost one for synthetic they gave us a price and we said okay, come to find out they didn't really use synthetic oil because the next day my car check engine line turned on and I noticed something was off on our car so my husband calls and ask what kind of oil they used and the guy started yelling at him right away and said they use conventional oil. So my husband ask if they can just fix the issue for us before we have more issues on our car and the guy kept yelling and saying no he can't that we would need to pay for another oil change! We go ahead and call corporate get a case set up and the owner decides to call my husband and says he can't do a free oil change to fix the problem which I don't see why if his workers are the ones that messed up! Someone from corporate needs to contact me ASAP so I could get this issue fixed before our only vehicle has more issues! read more

I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube in Hermiston for years I have taken at least three of my cars there and maybe four, I just recently took a car there that I had just purchased. I wanted to make sure that I got an oil change and all the other fluids checked in particular The power steering fluid because the person that I purchase the car from told us that the power steering fluid was low ... when I got home my husband asked me if they have added power steering fluid I said I'm sure they did because they checked off everything as fine ... so he went out and looked at the dipstick which was dry as it had been before I took it down there ... my concern is this I take my car down there and trust that they have done what they say they did and pay them ... and drive off feeling comfortable that I have taking care of my car ... Stopped in to the Hermiston Jiffy Lube for an oil change. They said my air filter was dirty and I said OK to replacing it. Big mistake to not inquire about the cost. They nailed me for $60 for an air filter, in addition to the standard charge for the oil change. I complained, pointing out that air filters are $12 to $15 at Auto Zone, that approach got me nowhere. I could accept a 100% markup for labor, overhead, etc, QUITE an expensive lesson learned! read more

I have a leased vehicle for work under Donlen account, I have my oil changed every 5,000 miles and Jiffy lube is one of the service providers. I drove 15 miles out of my way to get my oil changed at this Jiffy Lube in Hermiston OR. When I walked in the service bay there were 3 guys standing there that said that they could not take my car because they were not affiliated with Donlen. Then I showed them the printed Jiffy Lube logo on the coupon book that is used for the transaction. They did not even try to work with me so I walked out. Employees were nice enough, and oil change was very fast. I just HATE the typical Jiffy Lube nonsense/pressure about air filters. Also, I'm super perplexed as to their signs advertising a $29 oil change, but without any extras the cheapest I could get was $70? So confusing and definitely makes me feel like they took advantage of me. An employee did bring the price down, but I still overpaid. I moved to Hermiston from a major metro area and never paid more than $25-30 for an oil change. Sorry Jiffy Lube, I won't be back. read more

My grandmothers friend went into the jiffy lube in hermiston ,or for a oil changeon feb. 17, 2021. She paid for the high dollar synthetical, (the expensive stuff). The first time they went in the people who helped them forgot to even put the oil in. once they realized that they made this mistake they stopped her. Then they started filling her up and it was in a clear container and the oil was dark brown. Thinking that it was a new formula or a new oil didn't really ask what they were doing. They have drove less then a thousand miles (because of COVID) since then and today the oil light came on. Knowing that it shouldn't have come on, the decided to test it. The test said that there was no life in the oil. When they went back to tell them about it the guy said that they had to talk to they guys manager. They said that they did not want to get the guy in trouble and asked for him to fix it or wanting to know what the guy is gonna do about it. The guy said that he was going to do nothing. It is rediculous that they put they the old oil in the car. After she wanted to get the manager they refused her. they could have ruined the car. read more

Worst Jiffy Lube experience ever. I have been to a lot of Jiffy Lubes in different states. This was the worst. First of all the pictures on yelp when you pull them up is not this Jiffy Lube. Extremely dirty waiting room, shop and driveways. Oil and trash all over the driveways. Once inside I was exposed to a constant up sale for different services.When the service was done, I was given an unreadable receipt. I asked for a readable one and was told only the manager could change the toner. When the manager gave me a readable one, I asked for them to convert the sticker mileage to kilometers for my car, which they said they could do. But when I went to the car it had never been converted and I had to help the employee convert it to kilometers. Then he gave me a smudged sticker and I had to remove the old sticker myself and put the new one on.Once in the vehicle I noticed smoke coming from under the hood and pulled over to check. I found oil dripped all over my engine. Had to smell smoke until the oil was burned off. Attitude and service terrible! read more
