My first concert at Jiffy Lube Live was a pleasant surprise. I had heard mixed things about the venue over the years, but I walked away impressed. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, and the massive video screens make it easy to follow everything happening on stage, even if you're sitting farther back. The sound quality was excellent too. Parking is always one of my biggest concerns at large concert venues, but the parking staff did a great job directing traffic and making it clear where to go. I decided to leave a little before the concert ended, which let me completely avoid the usual post-show traffic jam. I was out of the lot in no time. There were quite a few things that stood out in a positive way. Concession stands were plentiful, so even if one line looked long, there was usually another nearby with little or no wait. The seating rows were also surprisingly wide, making it much easier to get in and out without squeezing past everyone. Covered seating (outside of the lawn section) was another huge plus. Combined with the ceiling fans and cooling stations throughout the concourse, the venue stayed comfortable despite the summer weather. Finally, every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated seeing employees proactively assisting guests with mobility challenges and helping people move efficiently through the security screening. It made entering the venue much smoother than I expected. There are a couple of improvements I'd love to see. First, the restroom floors became noticeably wet and slippery as the evening went on. Adding floor-drying blower fans and increasing the frequency of mopping would make the bathrooms much safer. Second, the seats could really use cup holders. Right now, your only option is to place your drink on the ground, where it's easy for someone walking by to accidentally kick it over. Cup holders on the seatbacks would be a simple upgrade that would make a big difference. One other observation: the restroom lines looked intimidating at times, but they moved surprisingly fast. The artist merchandise lines, however, were consistently long. I only noticed one merch stand on each side of the venue, so if you're hoping to grab a shirt or souvenir, you may actually save time by waiting until the end of the show. Overall, I really enjoyed my first experience at Jiffy Lube Live. With great sightlines, solid acoustics, efficient concessions, and an outstanding staff, it's a venue I'd happily return to. A few small facility upgrades would easily make it an even better concert experience. read more

I attended a show here for the first time last month, and it was quite the experience. I arrived early to get a close spot in their free lot, as I knew I had an early morning plane to catch the next day. It worked in my favor, as I timed myself, and from getting into my car to getting on the main road at the end of the concert took me eight minutes. Not long before doors opened, I got in a queue to go inside. I had the pleasure of overhearing the unsavory (racist) conversation of some ill-informed men behind me for that duration, so when doors were delayed, I was mildly annoyed. Fortunately, there was still plenty of time to grab a drink (a very expensive doctor pepper/cream mocktail), some food (a hot dog), and find my seat before the first opener. The sound was great and our view was pretty good. The rows are long and we were in the middle of our row, so it was kind of a pain to get in and out but we managed. Bathrooms were decent and without sizable lines. Merch line varied. It wasn't my favorite venue and some parts of it felt dated, but if a band I really-really want to see books the venue, I may have to return. read more

We ordered the chicken tenders on a bed of fries and for $20 there were only 3 chicken tenders think the restaurant name is Rebel Hen. More like 2 and a half chicken tender strips and with a decent amount of fries, but I guess concession food is naturally expensive. They had a house sauce that we also added for another $2. Had a little tangy and slightly sweet taste. Almost like thousand island but not as sweet. They also had ketchup, mayo, mustard, and bbq sauce at the self serve sauce station. The venue itself and the bathrooms were in pretty good shape. And is a nice venue to watch concerts at, just maybe consider other food options before coming in. read more

Before going to this location, I made sure to read many of the reviews, so I tried to prepare myself before attending. The concert I attended started at 8pm; Gates opened at 6:30pm and General Parking began at 3pm. This was all shared by an email from the venue before the show. They had something called Early Parking which started at 2pm, but one had to purchase a special ticket for that (per the box office). I had gotten the VIP parking at the same time I purchased my ticket for the show and they mailed the pass within a few days of the concert. I read somewhere that the lot had first come, first served and I so I did not want to end up in a situation where I wouldn't be able to get to an area due to it being full already. I noticed they did not let you in the parking lot early. You could only be let in at the same time as everyone else: 3pm. As it got in close to that time, after being let in, the VIP and Premier Parking area was checked by a police officer. I guess they were checking to make sure you had your parking space to be in those prime areas. At the same time as I arrived, I noticed a few other patrons arriving as well. As time went by, the lot filled with more vehicles. I was not going to allow traffic to make me miss any of this performance, so I was willing to wait around in a lot for 3.5 hours (they did allow folks to tailgate and also opened a few merchandise booths prior to the gates being opened - that took some walking, but it was worth it). Once the gate opened, I made sure to have a clear bag (of a certain size), showed my ticket through the app and was on my way. You do have to walk through a metal detector. I made sure to find my seat first and then walked around a little - more waiting time. I did not really purchase any food or drinks (besides some ice cream which was in a squeeze tube), as I brought my own snacks, which I left in my vehicle. I had great seats at the show and enjoyed both performances (the duo I saw had an opening act and both were awesome). I was initially going to stay until the end of the performance as I remembered the attendant saying they allowed those from the VIP lot to exit before everyone else (another one of the perks for that pass). However, I decided at the very last minute to leave early before the end of the show (4 songs were left), and I was fine with that decision. I did notice there were attendants with night lights directing cars out of the different lots and once on the main road, the police had made both sides of the road all head in the same direction for exiting, all set up with cones. This is a pretty good venue. I have enjoyed the shows that I saw here and found that the ticket prices are great for what you get. The drinks are expensive. About $25 for a margarita. The VIP section offers in seat wait service. If there is a marquee act then getting out the parking lot can be a chore and take a long time. Overall I think the sound system is good and I have enjoyed myself. People are generally dancing and having a good time. read more

The good: the sound was fairly decent, and you had a great view of the stage from virtually anywhere in the venue. The rows of seats are actually a lot more spacious than a lot of seated venues I've been to. The bad: there was only one entrance and one exit... this is very bad news for a sold out show as it takes absolutely forever to get in or out. The parking really sucks unless you get there several hours before the doors open. The food and drinks and insanely priced, but this is unfortunately the standard for LiveNation venues these days. I am sure I'll be back here in the future as this venue is close to me and houses a lot of events I'd like to attend, but I will not be looking forward to any part of the experience other than the actual performance. read more

First time at Jiffy and it was an overall good experience. Enjoyed a Niall Horan show and had great pavilion seats. There were some limiting factors, however preventing this review above a three stars. Keep in mind this review is for the venue, ticketing and concessions. Not the concert itself. There are additional ways that you can purchase things for concerts àla carte and Live Nation will let you know what they are. I paid additional $45 to get early entry and that ended up being a mistake. It would have been much more beneficial paying the additional , somewhere around $75 for premium parking. That would have got me a better a lot and easier access out of the venue after the show. Lines, lines, lines! It's pretty crazy when there's a sold out show and it's your first time at Jiffy.,You have to listen to the announcements and maybe ask people concertgoers what line they are in. You have lines for VIP, you have lines for General concertgoers to enter. You have merchandise lines and probably even throw in a line for the restroom. It's overwhelming. But one suggestion is for general concertgoers to enter is the line to the far right underneath the shade trees. The Internet was spotty and ended up being an issue with pulling up my tickets which needed to be scanned after I was in the venue. I ended up having to go to the box office and get hard tickets which didn't take long just an inconvenience. The staff who assisted was super! Although the food inside the venue was pretty good and extremely fast it's outrageously expensive. My family enjoyed burgers, fries and chicken fingers with non-alcoholic drinks to the tune of almost $90. That does not include a tip which there is no option for. My pavilion seats stage left were excellent and just behind the seating where wait staff serves concert goers. The sun does not hit this area going down, which is nice to have some additional shade. The venue itself is very similar to what I'm used to in Virginia Beach, but larger. Finally, after the show was over, it was time to head to the parking lot and I sure hope that you paid attention where you parked. We did and knew that we were in C3 and found the car pretty easily. However, getting out was anything but easy. It took over an hour. Not a fun way to end the evening exiting at 11:30 PM. There were still a lot of cars left in the lost, so it could have been worse. I would return, but no rush for me with the distance to travel being a resident in Virginia Beach. There were definitely things that I liked and things that I would do differently if I attended again. But for me, it was pretty much an average experience. The venue is well maintained and nice. Honestly I love Jiffy Lube Live! I have gone to many concerts over the years and have a blast every-time. Parking does take awhile but thats true for any venue that draws a crowd such as this. Leave early/ be patient and you wont have any issues. The rules have gotten stricter over the years but I am sure thats a direct results of patrons actions. You can bring your own snacks/drinks and tailgate in the lot or purchase snacks/drinks for a hefty price inside the gate. You can no longer bring you own chairs and must rent them if you want one. But honestly I recommend bringing a blanket, sitting out in the lawn, and enjoying some live music. Also lookout! They hold a ton of deals on tickets! read more

I have officially lost count of how many shows I have been to at Jiffy Lube Live. Suffice it to say it was Nissan originally to me, and the old name still slips out of my brain and mouth sometimes. This time, we were here for the Pitbull show, which was fun. However, after the show, I really had to pee. So did half the concert-goers. The line was out the door for the women's room. Thing is, Jeremy is my careperson. Normally, I shout into the ladies' room to ask if anyone objects to a man coming into the bathroom with me, but with such a glut of people, I was wary of going inside. I flagged down a man crazy driving a cart to ask if there was a family bathroom or somewhere for situations such as these. He was less than happy that I bothered him with such a question and told me to use the bathroom I had just come from, then drove off. It took well over an hour for us to get out of the parking lot. I was in pain for a good part of that time and thought I was gonna pee myself in the van. My eyes were watering by the time we found a Wawa so I could use their bathroom. That was a whole separate issue (yes, there is a review. Thanks for asking). While the unavailability of accessible family bathrooms IS a problem, guest services do usually treat me great. I'm not made of money so I usually buy the cheap lawn tickets. However, Jiffy Lube's lawn is like a matterhorn. It's not the safest place for a person who relies on wheels. So we go to guest services and they will swap my tickets with better seats in the pavilion, where I can actually see. You don't have to be a wheelchair user to do this. If you have any mobility issues, Go talk to guest services. They truly do not want you hurting yourself climbing that hill. Ask for Mary Kay. She's awesome. We will be returning to JLL in a couple of weeks to see Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. This will be my second time seeing Rob Zombie here. I saw him during Ozfest one year, back when the accessible seating was in the front row. He yelled at me for not standing up. I'm always going to find that hilarious. Stay away from this venue! I went with my daughter to the Hozier concert on September 16th. While Hozier's performance was absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful time during the show, the nightmare began afterward when it was time to get home. My husband was traveling, so we had to rely on Uber. The concert ended around 11 p.m., and we left our seats early to get to the designated pickup area. It was horrible--prices surged to 2.5 times the normal rate, and we had three cancellations before realizing that most of the surrounding roads were closed, causing drivers to cancel because they couldn't get through. The venue staff were not helpful at all, offering only rude remarks instead of assistance. We didn't get home until 1:30AM. Considering this venue is in a rural area and not in the middle of the city, I don't think it would be that difficult to offer a shuttle bus to a nearby location for people who need to be picked up or take an Uber. Instead, the organizers seem more focused on selling overpriced concessions. read more

I still LOVEEE this venue! This is an update if you are injured/on crutches! This venue is fantastic and treats you great! I had surgery and have been on crutches. I love concerts and have been so excited to see Avril Lavigne live! You can call Jiffy Lube Live and ask questions. What I was told when I called: -They have handicap parking when you have your placard. You might want to go early for general admission parking. They will direct you to where handicap Parking is. Then when you park, to get into the venue they have a whole separate line for you and who you go with and has your ticket. So the line you can go through security and then scan your tickets. -When you get in go (either ask someone) go to the white tent (guest services) even if you have regular seats when you weren't hurt. You can switch your regular tickets for handicap seats. So I had both of our seats changed and we got blue wristbands. - then they have golf carts to take you to your section! if you go into the arena in a knee scooter. it's probably easier to just got to your section yourself or wait for a golf cart. -Then you go to your seats and instead of waiting in the long line for drinks they will bring you a menu and bring you your drinks!! I have heard so much about this venue, but never got to experience it myself because of how far out it is and the inconvenience. But a miracle happened and I got the opportunity to see the Marley Brothers, and I didn't have to drive :). This is a huuuuuge venue, but I appreciate how organized they were for getting in line for entry. I had a clear bag, which they said normally would be too big for peak season, but just said to be mindful of it next time. I appreciated that! Once inside, they have a bar, snacks, merch, and much more. Prices are about what you would expect (I didn't get anything), but I definitely browsed. Getting to the lawn area was a whole workout, having to go up seemingly endless big and steep steps, but it was epic! We had lawn seats, so we were prepared... and it was a great time! Audio was great, and we could see the stage pretty well... even though, obviously, it was way clearer on the screens. Getting out took a while only because of the mass people, but that can't be helped, the staff did what they could. And the little interactions I did have with the staff were all positive. It's a great venue in my opinion, but just be mindful that it's out there, and those rush hour time shows may be tricky if you're coming from far away! read more

I only come here if I really really like the artists. I came here for Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan and everything but the music was terrible. The food was very expensive. I spent 41 dollars for a drink and chicken tenders/fries. The merchandise line was always too long, which is weird. I went to another concert in Merriweather Post Pavilion, which was much better managed. Then, it started to rain and management was not efficently communicating with us. We kept being confused on when they were starting because we were hearing mixed comments from staff. Lastly, as all know with jiffy lube live, getting out is absolutely terrible. Attendees need to leave early but then you miss your favorite songs. I hope I don't have to come here again but I may if I love the artist enough. read more

I love coming here for concerts, recently I've been to Snoop Dog and Dan & Shay. The concert have always been fabulous and worth the money. The ticket prices are always reasonable, I personally think it is worth paying extra for a seat versus the lawn especially if it rains. There are a few downsides to the venue. 1. Parking if horrendous. Unless you pay extra for premium you will be sitting for hours to get in and out of the venue as they do not have a good process directing traffic. 2. Tailgating in the parking lot if frequent but I see underage drinkers (young teens) frequently at this venue. I also have noticed people that are nearly falling over drunk being let in. 3. Their alcohol and food prices are nuts. $25 for a cocktail is highway robbery, Overall the venue is great and I've always enjoyed the shows but they could manage the venue better, especially the parking. read more

Went to see Hozier last night. Listen, amazing concert--no complaints on that end. But dear god, this was the absolute worst design of a venue I've ever been to. We took a ride share from our hotel; signage was extremely limited and confusing to get in. The unpaved muddy lots in the rain sucked. When we finally got into the venue, signage to find your seat or area were extremely lacking. The copious corporate branding is irritating considering how much you pay for a ticket--why do I need to look at a Mattress Warehouse billboard while watching the show? But the absolute worst was trying to get a ride share out of the venue. We had scheduled a Lyft ahead of time, anticipating a surge in demand. The pickup point was badly labeled and confusing to find, and had nowhere covered or to sit except some rocks. Because the main entrance was blocked and there was absolutely no signage directing pickup drivers to the pickup point, our driver canceled on us. We then spent another hour waiting to get a driver to pick up our request. Everyone else was having the same problem--cold, wet, getting kind of desperate. Staff were nice but clueless about how to help. You really get the sense that since the venue is so big they just don't give a shit what your experience is like. We almost cried when we finally got a driver to figure out how to get to the pickup point. read more

As a frequent concert goer, this venue is one of my favorites for low key acts that don't require you to be right at the stage-- mostly rap artist. The lawn seating also makes more expensive shows more affordable. The process of getting in and out of the parking lot can be kind of messy, but as long as you plan for the journey its not really a problem. It Is however not very friendly for anyone needing assistance/walking support- There are several flight of stairs up to the concert area and the trek from the parking area can be a lot , especially carrying items. GLOWS: -For outdoor lawn seating , the sound is really good and the screens are pretty big. -They are pretty flexible with that you can bring in. A water, gallon sized bag of snacks, clear tote bags, and blankets, with lawn chairs--- although you cannot bring any alcohol. - Before the show, you can tailgate in the parking lot. I really look forward to doing this next time. -They have decent food and drink options on site. -They have chairs for rent incase you forget yours. GROWS: -only restrooms on site are portable potties. Makes drinking and having a good time less enjoyable if you're gonna have to keep running to the restroom -Parking is on site and free but getting out can be a hassle because they don't have a high number of staff working to get people out of the lot. read more

It was easy to get to but if you have to take the toll road, you'll be paying an arm and leg during rush hour. Parking was free, which was nice. At entry, some of the staff need an attitude adjustment. Drinks are like $20 for a poorly made mixed cocktail. The venue itself was large and east to navigate. We had lawn seats. The grounds were clean and there were port-a-potties for restrooms. There is a huge staircase to climb to get to the top of the hill where the concert grounds are. Wear comfortable shoes. read more

Have been here for several concerts. The ticket and concession prices here, are absolutely insane. Is this to be expected at any concert venue? Of course. Parking here is frustrating. If you can I suggest Uber or Lyft. This will decrease the size of your headache, and allow you more fun. Sound here is A plus. Very decent views of band and performers too. This venue succeeds wildly in these important aspects. The employees work extremely hard here. Nothing but thank you, as they do all they can for a good experience. Jiffy Lube Live has a bad rap, particularly the parking, but I think it's undeserved. I've come here a couple of times now this summer, and I've seen worse... just get there early and plan ahead. We got there 30 minutes - 1 hour before doors opened, and traffic flow was steady to pull into a spot without too many bottlenecks. They also had parking attendants to help direct. The day of the concert, I got a phone call from the venue warning me that traffic would be bad, so arrive early - bring drinks, food, and chairs, and it's a tailgate! There's several restaurants within 10 minutes away, so pick-up something to go and enjoy it in the JLL lot before the show. Once doors opened, we got into the venue quickly by going to the lines on the far right entrance. It is a clear bag policy or small clutch, so make sure you pack accordingly or you'll have to take the walk of shame back to your car. Security will search your bag and you have to go through metal detectors. Small tote umbrellas are allowed, so bring it along when there's rain in the forecast. You can also bring outside food and a sealed water bottle. With lawn seats, we like to arrive a little before doors open to get a prime location. But really, the lawn is nice and open - there isn't a bad seat in the house. Pro tip: If you can manage, climb Mt. Everest - aka take the stairs! You'll get access to the lawn faster and can also exit the venue quicker to get to your car at the end of the night. I've had lawn seats and pavilion seats. Lawn seats are a great way to see your favorite bands on the cheap, but the pavilion definitely has its benefits - especially when it's rainy. The show will go on rain or shine - and while a drizzle isn't bad, my personal opinion is that a concert in a downpour is no fun, so being under the covered pavilion is like being in a different world. When the weather is good, the lawn is nice for picnicking and hanging out with friends - so bring a blanket or chairs. (They do have height restrictions on chairs so make sure it's shorter than 9" from the ground... though it's not always enforced because I've definitely seen people sneak in taller chairs). Rentals are, of course, available as well. Beware of concert-goers who will plop down right in front of you, just as the concert starts, if there's even just a sliver of unclaimed grass. There's also technically a no smoking policy, but this is not enforced and it was smoky at times. Bathrooms... there are so many bathroom stalls and it is appreciated! Everyone and their mother likes to go to the bathroom right before the headliner, and the long line that builds can be daunting. Fortunately, there's plenty of stalls, so you'll be in and out in five minutes. Pro tip: go to the bathroom that's located further from the stage - there's been no line when I use that one! I have tried their concessions. Burgers by the Voltaggio Brothers - yes, I would get again. Generic pepperoni pizza - never again. As for the actual concert, sound quality is great and the screens are a useful visual aid, especially on the lawn when the performers look like ants on stage. After the concert ended (encore and all), we made a beeline to the car and were out of the lot in about 10 minutes! Parking attendants were present to help manage the flow, and thousands of cones were staged to keep everyone in their lane. Pro tip: remember where you parked! Drop a pin, pay attention to the letters/numbers on the parking lamps, and exit the venue the same way you came in. Or else, you could be walking around the many parking lots in the pouring rain, hitting the panic button on your keys, and wondering why your car alarm is not going off like it should, only for your car to be the last one in the parking lot at the end of the night. (I'm slightly exaggerating, but only slightly... but on the bright side, it's one way to avoid traffic leaving the venue!) Sure, JLL is a little off the beaten path from the general DMV area, but my experiences have been pleasant, so don't write it off just yet. read more

Saw the offspring here last week and it was just alright. Not the actual concert but the venue (concert was great). We tailgated and had no trouble here. Getting up to the stage area was a hike. Drinks were extremely expensive, absurd. Also, signs were misleading for drink prices as a drink with a double shot was marked as $23 but came up at $28 before tip. The shaker drinks they had were good but still overpriced and these stands weren't able to give an extra cup for water. Getting out was also difficult and we stood in standstill traffic for 15 minutes. It did move pretty quickly from there but something to consider as they do have the premium parking. I will be back because it is a good concert venue but I'm not purchasing any drinks next time because the prices were highway robbery. The absolute worst venue in the middle of nowhere. Large concerts/major headlining bands should not play here due to the abysmal traffic and sheer amount of people trying to get in. People shouldn't have to take a full day off from work to drive to a concert venue just to park their car. The emails and 1800 calls leading up to the concert warning about heavy traffic are not helpful. No, I don't want to show up at 2 to "tailgate" WITH AN ADDITIONAL PRICE because of this venue's poor traffic handling. And then spend 2 hours getting out of the venue. That's a no from me dawg. My friend and I got lawn tickets to see T-Pain and Pitbull, and it was our first and probably last time visiting Jiffy Lube Live. The music quality and the screens they had for those of us on the lawn were very good. We also got a great price for our tickets. Now to the negatives. From the other reviews, you will see a common theme of parking sucks. To park at the venue, it took us over an hour to drive the last mile to the venue, so definitely go earlier than you plan to go. We left before the concert ended, so we got out fast but I heard it took others 1-2 hours to leave. We made the mistake of sitting in the lawn thinking it would be fun, we were wrong. The lawn itself is very big and spacious. We thought we would be able to sit between acts but the lawn was completed packed full of people. Now my biggest complaint was all the intoxicated clearly underage people. They made the experience so much worse, nothing is worse than being surrounded by drunk teenagers. I don't know if this is a problem at every show, but there was no security inside the venue to stop them or remove the overly intoxicated from the venue. The space is very big! We had lawn tickets to the Popular MONSTour 2 concert. Everyone who had lawn tickets were upgraded to seating. We had good seating. Minus the sitting so close to everyone! The staff were friendly and helpful. EVERYTHING is over priced though. But it is an event center. So it is expected. The bathrooms need an upgrade though. They are very old and half the doors dont close or lock. read more

Missed most of the show sitting in traffic going in and out. Almost bailed. Who planned this?

This is a nice outdoor concert venue, but can be a bit challenging to get to. Traffic going in was absolutely insane (we were at a complete stop for a while about 2 miles from the venue) and it was challenging to get out as well. The set up for the show itself though was nice. We got lawn seating which meant mostly looking at the screens rather than the stage, but still was nice to sit outside and enjoy good music. read more

The venue itself is fine. It's an enjoyable place to see a concert. But the parking is so terrible. I cannot stress how bad it is. There is nothing I can write that will convey how bad the parking is. Let me say it this way. The concert I saw ended at 10:10pm. I was at my car by 10:25pm. It is currently 11:15pm and I have not moved. Not an inch. At this rate I don't expect to be out of the parking lot until more than 2 hours after the concert ended. Insane. Will never come here again. read more

The venue is great. It is roughly 1.5 hours from our home. We went to see Chris Stapleton tonight and we missed his opening acts. We got to the area around 530 and due to traffic didn't even get into the venue until just before 9pm. That is 3.5 hours of sitting in traffic. Like others have stated, the traffic is awful even worse when you can't even see the whole concert. We were in section 103. Great seats but we could've been in lawn seats and Chris Stapleton would still be awesome. read more

Great venue to see a show. Saw Santana last night. Show started at 7:00. I arrived about 6:30 ish and traffic was better than expected. After reading horrible reviews I was very nervous about long waits but that was not my experience. Plenty of parking and people directions traffic. *Food recommendations: the NUT STAND + the frozen margaritas/strawberry daiquiris in the fish cups. Pretzels are good but have a lot of salt. Burger is mid. Wouldn't get again. Hot hogs sell out so order early. Also grab your napkins early because they run out and grab two straws because they're paper. We left before the end of the show to avoid traffic jam exiting. There were a lot of people doing the same. The police block off the street to help the traffic flow. read more

Parking/Logistics: 0 stars. As soon as you get off the exit, it bottlenecks. As soon as you turn into the parking lot, getting a parking spot is not an issue. Plan for extra traffic time. Trying to leave the venue is still a mess. After all the events they have here, you would think they'd have figure out a way to make the traffic to get out more efficient. I don't know why they direct all traffic to turn left when getting out of the parking lot. There is no traffic control, only cones. Either leave two or three songs early or plan on sitting in your car for 30+ minutes. Or you can pay for premium parking. Food: 1 star. They have signs as if there are several vendors, but it's basically one main kitchen. There are burgers from Grillers and smashed burgers from Volt burgers, but they're actually the same dry cold burger and fries. They just smacked the Voltagio Brothers name on it even though it has nothing to do with them. The chicken and tenders are also terrible. The plus side with JLL is that you can bring food inside the venue as long as it is inside a clear bag. Venue: 4 stars. It is a pretty big venue with plenty of lawn space. The sound quality is pretty good. I recently saw OneRepublic and Backstreet Boys and they sounded great! If you're sitting on the lawn, you can bring your own lawn chair or blanket. If you forget, they rent out chairs and blankets for $10. You can also buy a blanket for $20. There are plenty of bathroom stalls so the wait isn't that long. You can bring a small clutch, purse, or fanny pack in. Anything bigger will need to be in a clear bag. read more

The venue is good. Leaving the Parking lots is a nightmare after the show, but the staff tries their best. The food and drinks are astronomically high priced which is the major drawback. $22 for a tall boy IPA. I'm fairly certain they have Disney world beat for how expensive eating and drinking is. Also they will close the lawn seating if not enough people bought the amphitheater seating.... One of the huge draws to this venue is the ability and freedom of sitting in the lawn. I paid for a lawn ticket, I want to sit in the lawn! Don't make me sit in a chair next to smelly strangers that don't wear enough deodorant or smoke weed just because you feel like more people need to sit in the seats to make the band "feel better". Speaking of smoking, I thought the amphitheater area was no smoking... but everyone was anyways. I guess they don't care to enforce that which is pretty disappointing since not everyone wants to be around your weed. read more
