It was pretty quick, which was cool. But it's ridiculously expensive for no reason. There was a $10 "shop fee" that I wasn't informed would be included until after the service. Finally cleaned up interior. Looks much better than previous visits. Need a little more efficiency. Either train individuals who can only pull vehicles in to do more or figure out staffing tasks. 1 of 3 individuals seemed to be doing most functions while one was on break. I always try to come get my oil changed 10 AM or so on a weekday and there is rarely a wait. Good dudes get me in and out pretty quickly. They'll try to sell you extra services, but that's obviously their job. Free water and a restroom in the waiting area. No complaints. read more

Forgot to put the skid plate back on our SUV. Driving down the turnpike after my oil change and it sounded like something imploded under my car. Called the office and they said they will send someone to me since this must something they deal with. Luckily turnpike workers stopped and put it in the trunk until I could get to the next exit at another Jiffy lube. The manager there said they are tired of fixing Monroeville's mistakes. They offered to buy me a new skid plate since it is so damaged. I left my information and have never heard from them again. I usually am really intimidated by any car service/repair shop being a 20 year old woman, but the gentlemen at Jiffy Lube never are condescending or make me feel uncomfortable when I have an issue with my car. Extremely quick service and they take time to explain to me in detail what they did and why, and always let me know I can call or stop by if there are any issues. It's hard to find somewhere I know I can get quality service but I've always had good experiences at this Jiffy Lube!! The guy who rang me up this past Saturday around 4:30 was extremely kind, helpful and attentive. I steered clear of this location and Jiffy Lube in general for many years after a bad experience I had but today I decided to give it another try after almost 10 years. I will NEVER return here again. I had two horrible incidences at this place and I would much rather pay fives time to go to a dealership and get an oil change. Incident #1 They put tires on my car in 2019 and on my way to Robinson, PA the one tire went flat. I had to bring the tire back the next day after calling AAA to put a doughnut on. I wasted a day and a half dealing with them fixing it and time off of work. Incident #2 This just happened last week 06/08/2020, the guy doing my oil change sprayed oil on the interior of my car. They told me to go somewhere to get an estimate to have it detailed. I go to my dealer who says that its hard to get oil out of a car and that if they tried to get it out of my car than they would destroy the seats. When I told them this, the insurance adjuster told me to get another estimate. Its a pandemic and I wasted time off of work to do this once. I'm not traipsing around the city to get an estimate for something you caused. I already went to my dealer and they said it would not come out. When I mentioned this the franchise owner this was his response: "Well, that's where I stand. If you're not able to get another estimate as requested than I can't help you. We are the franchise owners and I make the final decision. I will not continue to argue with you." This place looks dirty. Saw 1 car in and 1 bay empty so decided to get a quick oil change. Pulled up to the bay and some woman came out, not wearing any Jiffy Lube gear and told me to park and wait 45 minutes because there are other parked cars in front of you. Never heard of this at Jiffy, its always pull to the bay and wait your turn. Only 1 bay in operation, looked like only 1 employee and manager working. Went to Valvoline 4 miles down Rt22, 3 bays working, full staff, clean, in and out in 15 minutes. This place will be closed very soon with these business practices. Stopped in for an oil change and was happy to learn I can get $10 oil changes until 2021. There was no line so I was able to get my car serviced immediately. They cleaned my windows, changed the oil and wiped my car down. They were friendly and worked quickly. I did have a service light come on when I started my car and was surprised they didn't bring it up when they took the milage information while checking my car in. I will call the dealer to address the service light but I'll definitely keep up with my oil changes at Jiffy Lube. It is a great deal and they do a good job. I will be mindful of the times I go since they're in a high traffic area. The waiting area was nice. They had magazines, a tv and the air conditioner was appreciated in that blazing hot day. read more

Horrible experience, even though I have a company Car, I should not have to wait over an hour and a half for an oil change and tires. I strongly suggest that you search somewhere else when it comes to service. I understand they don't stock tires but this is a nightmare. They use Pep boys for their tires, just go there. I had a great repor with the Penn Hills Jiffy Lube. I knew all of the guys that worked there and they took really good care of my car, plus it was very close to me. Then out of the blue Jiffy Lube decides to close this location and send all of those customers to the Monroeville location. I have gone to this location a few times. Each time the wait is always long or they don't currently have all of the fluids my car needs at the time. They also always try to up sale me on something I don't want or even need done to my car. For as much as they charge I could go to the Lexus dealer and have a much better experience setting in their lounge filled with comfy leather couches, watch TV, drink good coffee and have a scone or doughnut while I wait. Went there because I was lazy and needed my oil change now. The service was bad, took over an hour, and the price was near criminal. Another time I went there before about a question with my car, they looked at it and said I was good, no charge since I asked the cost. I stopped at this Jiffy Lube randomly on my home from Pittsburgh. HANDS DOWN THE BEST OIL CHANGE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. The employees were so kind, fixed a piece of my splash guard which had come loose for free (I was planning on taking it to a shop when I returned which would have surely been costly), gave me an excellent rate (especially considering my car takes over 5 quarts), ensured my car was ready to go, and got me out of there in 15 minutes. I only went here because I bought a groupon that was soon due to expire. I drove in and no customers were in line. I was supposed to get the signature treatment which includes a vacuum, rain-x treatment, and a tire rotation with regular oil. Once I sat down inside, I was told my 2013 malibu takes synthetic oil, which I knew. I also I was told that my tires did not need rotated. Fine! Let's talk about what they did: changed my oil. I checked my tire pressure afterwards: overinflated. I checked my oil percent: not reset. I checked my rugs: still filthy. Worthless groupon and paid 30 bucks additionally for synthetic. If I could rate lower, I would. Took my wife's car for an oil change. They took a lot longer than expected which wasn't terrible but after a day or 2 of my wife driving there was an odd noise from under the hood. After investigating I found they never connected the air filter compartment OR included an air filter. Then I noticed a ratchet left under the hood also. After taking it back they basically said "oh well, it happens." Not even an apology. Against my better judgment I took my car in which took entirely too long. A day later I notice my oil light coming on. I went home and checked to find I was almost completely out of oil. They must have used an air gun to loosen/tighten the oil pan plug because it was stripped out and had a metal washer instead of the rubber one I knew was on there. Ridiculous. read more

This Jiffy Lube is the worst! I called one day before coming to make sure I could get inspection and emissions. I even called one hour before arriving, and they said they would be prepared for us. First, when we arrived they told us they the guy who gives the test was not there anymore. Even though we just called one hour before. Then after I spoke to an disrespectful employee he went back in. He came back out and said ok we'll do it. After 2 min, they said the machine that they use wasn't working. I felt as though all they wanted was not to help us. Trying to keep my cool, I simply asked where another jiffy lube was located. They said they didn't know. If the rest of their customer service wasn't already horrible. This was just over the top. I'm sure they have other cites numbers in the office, and if they don't they should! I have been to a lot of jiffy lube's, and I understand that places can get busy. I bought a Groupon for a Jiffy Lube oil change. It was supposed to include window washing, floor vacuuming, and tire inflation as well. When I was checking out, I had to pull up the Groupon because they were trying to charge me for the oil filter and a bunch of other services that were included in the Groupon. They did not vacuum my whole car, they did not clean the windshield, they did not touch the tires, and there is a large black oil stain on my driver's side floor mat now. These guys talked down to me and clearly judged me for being a young woman and thought they could swindle me out of services that I paid for. Women have so much anxiety going into auto shops because we are constantly the butt of some type of sexist, outdated, hyper masculine joke. I had to be super rude and direct to the front desk guy and he STILL didn't honor my whole Groupon. I will not be going back and I suggest going to Valvoline Monroeville because there are badass women who work there that will treat you with respect. read more

Customer service here is beyond poor. As soon as I drove into the lot, I was given a few unwelcome stares by the workers. When they realized I was here for a service, without greeting me or anything, the one worker said in an angry tone "to the back". Having never been to a jiffy lube and given great "instructions" from this worker, I apparently drove into the wrong part and was yelled at by several more employees for doing so. One employee approached me and directed me to the appropriate place, but I wised up to this place and said Nope and immediately bolted. I can't account for the job because I didn't get it done here, but no place with that much rude employees is getting my business. I proudly went to Midas down the street and was greeted appropriately. I might have paid a little extra at Midas (since I had jiffy coupons) but I rather pay more than be in an environment like that.
