I've been using Jiffy Lube for oil changes ever since I started driving as a teen... That's a lot of years now... Shhh. I'm not sure what could have gone better with my service at the Stanwood, WA location. I told Zac that I was in a bit of a rush and he got me in right away, there was no line but they really put a rush on it. My oil was changed, all fluids checked, the truck was vacumed and I was out the door as fast as humanly possible. The entire team at this location worked together and did a wonderful job. Their attentiveness, customer service, quality, and speed placed them far above any other shop I've ever worked with. Though I live in Mount Vernon, I will come back to this location for all my future oil changes. Thank you to the Stanwood, WA team for being extraordinarily awesome. I was driving by to see if they were open to get an oil change and all doors were closed in the middle of the day (10:50 A.M looked up online and said they open at 8:00 A.M). So I went to Oriley's next door, while I was walking in I saw that all employees for Jiffy lube were inside on their phones. Terrible. They lost a customer. Windows were dirtier after they we cleaned. I complained, but was told the employee was new. My concern was not addressed. My fluids were not topped off. They did not provide me with a receipt nor could they provide me with one via email. Despite numerous phone calls. This resulted in a 17 mile round trip. Note to new car owners. Jiffy Lube does not report to car fax. So you will have to go thru hoops to make that happen. I really thought Jiffy was a good company. Trying to keep my business local, and outside of dealerships, I decided to come on down to this Jiffy Lube in Stanwood. I was fortunate enough to find a $13 off coupon online, so I was feeling pretty good about myself. I have worked in dealerships for about 18 years and know a thing or two about funny business, sadly, but thought that I was safer at a place like this. Well, after being quoted $85 for an oil change and being told "It's because it's a VW..." I felt pretty stupid. I've owned this car for 3 years and have never paid half of that for an oil change. My bad for going through with it anyways, it's just so uncomfortable to make a stink and drive off.... the dude was just sort of nonchalant and cocky about the whole thing to boot. Wow!! Will never come back to this location ever again! Stopped in because I had a light out on my truck, someone had told me while I was driving that a "brake" light was out. I asked the guys if they could swap it out and they said sure as long as I paid for the bulb. They were charging $16 for a bulb btw... They had me back my truck up to the bay and they said the brake lights were fine but that instead a reverse light was out. Ok cool no big deal, I told them to swap out the reverse light then. They then proceeded to tell me that since I still had one working reverse light and that most vehicles these days only have one reverse light anyways that it didn't need to be changed and that they weren't going to swap it out for me. Mind you there were 5 guys all standing around doing nothing. No other customers at the shop whatsoever so it's not like they were busy at all. In all my years of driving I've never experienced anything like this when taking a vehicle in to get serviced. I couldn't believe they wouldn't change out a light cause I still had one working one.... Pure laziness from all of them! I ended up going to Napa Auto and they changed it no problem and only charged me $6 for a two pack of bulbs, not $16 for one single bulb! read more

I've taken many vehicles to this Jiffy. First out of convenience, they are local and fast. I know they do all the checks for the upsell on items and other services but I never feel pressured, more informed. I believe they must have a good training program for their employees since over many visits they are consistently and exceedingly polite. I come away thinking, wow that guy is enthusiastic about his job. Come back 4 months later and helped by a different person, and another person enthusiastic about his job. Not much cheaper if that than other options: dealer, mechanics, other oil change places. But considering good service and time advantage. My time is worth more than making an appt, and 2-3 hours at the dealership vs. 20 minutes. So I'll take advantage of their other services. read more

Never ever has the right oil filter. I've had to come back 3-4 times just to sit and wait and then they never have the parts. Waste of time!

I just went in to get my oil changed, the worker who ringed up the service was very kind and professional, but I didn't like overhearing one of the technicians who was changing the oil, complaining how my Tacoma was a difficult car to work on. And even made a comment "this is even worse than an tundra". Made me feel not very confident on the work that was done. Class it up. read more

The oil change was done. They never changed the sticker in the window. I was promised a vacuum and window wash. The windows were dirtier due to the streaks of dead bugs across the window. I think they did attempt to vacuum a floor mat but, nothing else. After my visit, I was told by a friend that "if you do not care about your car, take it to jiffy lube." The impression I get from this location is that the employees hurry through any given task so they can have more time to do nothing. read more

Had a Passat sitting in my driveway for a year, was too messed up to drive any higher than city speeds. No clue what I was doing I took it into Jiffy Lube and she was running beautifully in under an hour. The two attendees at the time(Jason and Rocky) were very friendly and professional. I've been using jiffy lube for years and they just failed us. Took the car in for normal service. They recommended a coolant flush but supposedly the coolant and overflow levels were good. Flash forward 104 miles and I have no coolant at all in radiator or overflow. Were they actually checking.? Now have a trashed motor. We wont be going to them any longer. Major price increase! I bring my wife's car to this Stanwood Jiffy Lube, and have for at least 10 years. But their prices have increased dramatically. In March 2019, for the same car, same service, same store, we paid $39. Today, AFTER credit for my $7 coupon, the cost was $47. 21% increase in 6 months? There are numerous other places in town to get the same service. Time to move on. read more

From Las Vegas moved here and have always had good service from Vegas. Thought I would give this place a go. Stopped by in the morning and it was pretty busy so thought I would return in the afternoon once I had run errands. I was quoted one price in the morning by one guy and low and behold by the afternoon the price had jumped almost $15.00. Hmm. What do the jiffy lube in Stanwood and asked if they could do a transmission top off on a 2004 range Rover HSE and they said they could so we said fine after the oil change then they tell us they can't do it I don't recommend jiffy lube for anything cuz they obviously want to lie to you to get your money so now I'm out $95 for an oil change and my transmission fluid was never touched after they were showing videos on how to change it or check it I don't recommend jiffy lube at all. You shouldn't say you can do something and then you can't. read more

This one-star review is based on a specific visit. I've been going to the Jiffy Lube in Mount Vernon for years, and I've always been pleased with the quality of service. I recently moved to Stanwood, and decided to give this location a try. The day before I took my car in for an oil change, I noticed that I was running low on coolant. I considered buying some and filling it up myself, but decided against it since I knew I'd be going to Jiffy Lube the next day and they top off all fluids as part of their service. There was one customer there when I arrived, and two mechanics on duty. I parked my car behind the bay and one of the mechanics came out to talk to me. We worked out what kind of oil change I wanted, and I told him I'd be back in about thirty minutes. I walked around the industrial complex for a while and checked out the movie theater (since I'm new to town). I returned 25 minutes later and my car was on the opposite side of the garage bay, apparently finished. The guy was nice (didn't catch a name; tall, early 20's, skinny), and advised me that my oil pan was dented (which I knew) and that I had a residual transmission fluid leak, but that it was nothing to be concerned about. No big deal. I paid the 50 bucks, got in my car, and left. As I drove away, I noticed that the floor of my car hadn't been vacuumed like they usually do at Jiffy Lube when you get an oil change. I stopped at a convenience store a few miles away to grab a beverage, and while I was sitting there I decided to take a look at my receipt (I don't know, maybe "vacuum floor" was taken off the terms of service). Under "Vacuum Floors" it said "Declined", as if they asked if I wanted them to do it and I said NO. Well, that got me wondering what ELSE they might not have done, so I popped the hood and found that not only was my wiper fluid not filled, but my coolant was almost totally empty! I called the place right away and asked if they stopped filling coolant as part of their oil change service. I explained that I was there ten minutes ago, and he'd skipped over that part of the procedure. He told me to come back and they'd top it off for me. I drove back and the other mechanic (who I hadn't talked to at all until now) waved me into the bay, facing the wrong direction. I popped the hood and showed him the near-empty coolant. He said "Oh, it looks like it's full because of how the plastic tank is stained." Then the other guy stuck his head out of the back and took the blame for it, apologizing. "That's my fault," he said. "That's on me!" I respect that he took ownership of the fuck-up, but I'm still wondering what the hell that fifty bucks paid for. I DO know that they changed my oil, at least as far as I could tell by the clarity of the oil on the dipstick. Next time I'll either stay and watch them do the work, or take it somewhere else. I guess I could do it myself, but shit... I cherish my free time. EDIT/UPDATE, 1/7/17: Two days after posting this review, I was contacted by the District Manager in charge of the store that had provided me with the questionable service. He seemed genuinely distraught about what had happened, saying that he had personally trained the employees at that particular branch. He took down my information and said that he'd send me a few coupons good for free oil changes at any Jiffy Lube. I told him that getting free stuff wasn't my intention, but of course I accepted the offer. He warned me that it might take a "few weeks" because paperwork "takes forever to process in the home office". Well, here it is over four months later, and I've received jack-shit in terms of free oil changes. Again, I don't really care about that, but it seems odd that he'd offer me compensation and then totally flake out when it's time to produce. I got my oil changed yesterday and when I got up this mourning I had a pond of oil under my car. I took a peak and I have a constant drip from my drain plug that was not there when I took it in. I have contacted them and am taking my car back in the am. It's lame paying for labor and having a poor job done and having to go in 2 times for a job to be done right. I will take my car in and update this post after my car has been looked over, but I will never go here for oil changes again.
