When i asked for security footage they said they were in the process of getting new cameras and didn't have any which I'm not even sure if I totally believe it. $2,012.10! 2,012.10 DOLLARS!! I ended up spending in a matter of 48 hours from starting my business with Les Schwab and almost had a FATALITY and WRECK due to negligence of these professionals and wrong diagnosis of my vehicle, paying for parts and services I didn't need. I planned and currently on a trip from Washington State to Mexico with my 3 underage kids and a friend. Before starting my journey on 3/20/2024 I scheduled an appointment to remove all the air and INSPECT my brakes and new master cylinder to ensure a safe and stress free drive over 1200 miles of road and nasty weather conditions. After getting "air out" and inspection's of brakes and installation of master cylinder, my brakes were still spongy and all they said was "WE GOT ALL THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM, THE FRONT CALIPERS ARE FAILING DUE TO THE INSIDE OF PADS NOT CONTACTING WITH ROTORS 100%. I read it and looked at the tech that did my brakes, "Jeremy" is his name. He looks at me and starts to push me to buy 1200 or 1400 set of tires because my tires are bad. Never did he advise me driving my car with brakes that don't contact is dangerous and get it replaced. Well I trusted him and the work they did and paid for my cylinder and on my way to Mexico I was. On the way to Oregon I stopped at another Les Schwab to get my brakes inspected and master cylinder since it was part of the warranty, The tech that "INSPECTED" my brakes told me I had 4 different set of tires (which I never did) and they were busy to get me in but filled up my tires and "looked" at my brakes and never said anything. This was the second "brake inspection requested. Along the way I decided to get 4 new tires cause it was stuck in my head from Les Schwab, bought them with discount tires and Americas Tires at a great price and service and though they aren't mechanics or certified to inspect the brakes, they saw something was wrong and strongly suggested to see a mechanic asap and do a brake inspection. I took their advice and gut feeling I should. So I did. Upon inspection the brake pads weren't even set on calipers loose. one broke in half, and all 4 brake pads were bent. I was about to loose them on the way and crash with my kids for sure. They said I had an angel looking over us. I don't care how much money I spent I'm glad my car is good now and I'm safe and so are my kids. I just ask for these employees to do their job, use common sense, advocate for customers. I know things get rough and work is busy and lots of customers come in and out but what if this was your son and grandkids on a road trip you would want whoever was looking under the hood to do a good job and ensure the vehicle is safe. I wouldn't have any problem to pay for new brakes again if they were to actually catch it on the first inspection not the third. Future customers advocate for yourself and be specific that they do what you ask and never take their word at value ensure you keep records like i did. We blew a tire on 1-5 off the Arlington exit while road-tripping to Bellingham from Seattle. Our little spare tire was able to get us to Les Schwab, in the downtown center, it looked like a long ways on the map but the we had no problem on the smooth and easy road. Took car in to get tires rotated just purchased new tires and rims from them in April. when I got my car back I noticed massive nicks on from their impact gun. Very upset. I called immediately to talk to the manager he didn't apologize for the terrible service and damage. He said come in Monday and hung up. Terrible customer service. I wanted to give a shout out to Jeff the manager at les Schwab. I brought my car to Les Schwab in Snohomish for them to replace my rotors. They did that but in the process they didn't do it correctly. I have had to bring my Lexus to les Schwab I total of seven times since I got the new rotors put on in February 2022. Jeff the manager of the les Schwab took time to inspect everything and found that there was rust behind my rotors which causes a buildup and that is what caused the router to warp. Jeff also found that my brake pad clips were missing and he fixed that for me also he replaced a caliber that malfunction due to the rotors. Jeff took amazing care of my car and I really appreciate his support and he took the time to work on my car all by himself to make sure everything was done properly. I would highly recommend that/Schwab and work with Jeff he is a great manager who wants to make sure the customers are taken care of.Thank you Jeff! read more

I had to jumpstart my car this morning after I got it running I went to Les Schwab in Arlington and asked if they could swap out battery that I had and they refused and didn't even ask if they could check to see if that's the problem. The manager said why would we replace the battery when we sell batteries "I said because of customer service " and my company always uses Les Schwab and we have 9 trucks. He said I would have to buy the battery from them, so I left. Went to Walmart service center and they were the friendliest nicest employees that took care of me, they looked at the battery and did battery check and come to find out I didn't need new battery it was just the cable needed to be replaced was out in 15 minutes and only $6. read more

My lawnmower front tubeless tire started leaking air after many years. A quick fix was to have Schwab put in a tube for me. I took the wheel off the tractor and took it to Schwab. The agent looked at the tire and said it needed replacing and would not work on it as it was dangerous. At it's fastest, that lawnmower does 7mphand less than 3mph when cutting. I walked out totally dissatisfied. I tried to put a tube in myself but kept nipping the tire causing leaks. I went to Discount Tire, they did not have tube. I went to a second Schwab store with the same reaction. He would not work on it but would sell me a tube. I bought the tube and went back to Discount Tire and had them install it. Was there yesterday for a noise under my car. Within 15 minutes they had the car up on a hoist and found the problem - a stuck branch. After removing the branch and inspecting the bottom of the car for any other leaks/problems they sent me on my way. NO CHARGE! EXCELLENT!!! Honesty, integrity and great service! Local dealership (Rairdon's) told me that my vehicle needed about $1,900 worth of work (new brakes, cv joints and axel boots). After a couple of weeks of stressing about it, I decided to head into Les Schwab for a second opinion. Guess what? Low and behold, the dirt bag LIARS at Rairdon's gave me some bad information. Absolutely nothing was wrong with my vehicle! Cv joints / axels / boots are good and still some life left on the brakes. I've been to Les Schwab on and off throughout the years, so I know that they aren't afraid to tell me when something needs to be fixed. They also aren't always the cheapest, but at least you know that they are not ripping you off! I've also never had a bad experience with the quality of their work. Will never be trusting the dealer again! Thinking about filing a class-action lawsuit against Rairdon's. No telling how many other people they gave ripped off. I came in with tires that needed to be mounted on rims. Was told they could do it for me. Told they would come out get the tires and rims. They'd have them done in about an hour and a half. Not a problem. 30 mins later they still had not come out and gotten the tires and rims. I was told they'd come out and get them and I was to leave and come back. Well after wait 30 mins just to still be waiting on them to get the tires I left! Went down the street to a little shop. Guess what took the tires and rims right then and there. One man shop had plenty of work there, I saw it. But took care of me. Left the rims and tires came back later like we agreed. Guess what, they were done!! One man, one small shop, saw several happy customers!! Les well I got less. Many people working there, but left customers not taken care of. read more

The entire experience was going so well--got a fair price on our Wild Country AT tires, they did a brake inspection and even though I thought my fronts were in need, they assured us that the fronts were way good still. That was appreciated--so enjoyable when a business is that honest. Some confusion at checkout, but where they really let us down is when we checked in this morning, we asked if we could have the best two tires; they said they would put them in the back of our SUV, no worries. I went there to have two small Go-Kart tires changed. It was the end of the day and everyone was standing around. They charged me $35 for ten minutes work. I asked why and they said it was because the tires would not fit on a machine. It took each guy 5 minutes. That is very respectful of my time. He got me all set up quickly which is very appreciated as taking time out of my busy day for this was tough. I left my truck there and went back to work. Got a call that it was done a short time later. I went back later in the day and he met me at the door addressing me by name. Very good experience. I'm a single mom of two little boys so when my 2013 Subaru Crosstrek wouldn't shift into reverse and had multiple dash lights that were staying on I was really worried I was going to have a hefty repair bill if I took it to the Dealership. I decided to first take it to Les Schwab to see if they could diagnose the issue. Jeff spent 15 minutes checking it out, said he thought it could possibly be the break light switch that was sticking. He ordered it up, had it in the next day and my car was as good as new for less than $75! I can only imagine what another mechanic or the Dealership would have put me through. I've had these goofballs do an alinement on two, (yes, I went back after the first bad job), and they simply can't do a correct job. The first car I had to have them redo it three times and the car still pulled hard the right. They even rotated tires right to left and front to back and in the end said it was the tires that were bad. Why I went back a second time I beyond me. My steering wheel was off a couple degrees and I got the car back and it was still off and you can actually see the front wheels are out of alignment visually. I will never go the Les Schwab again for any reason after buying tires from them for the last 35 years. read more

We got a flat tire while doing a day trip on the N. Cascades loop on a Saturday. We backtracked to the closest Les Schwab, which was the store in Arlington. They kindly fixed the flat for free and we thought all was well. We decided to head home to Everett. By the time we got home, the tire was half-flat again and within another hour completely flat. Obviously they did something wrong when fixing the tire. And of course, it is now Sunday and Les Schwab is closed. So frustrating. read more

I took my car in for an alignment. One of my wheels had positive camber. They told me it was fixed. When I got my car back the wheel still had noticable positive camber. When I confronted them about it, they lied and said it was fixed. They didn't refund my money for their patchy service. read more

The guy from Les Schwab just made a house call to fix our tractor tire, fixed it in under 5 minutes, and charged us NOTHING! Not only that, he was kind enough to follow my 8 year old son (who had his arms full of packages from the mail) down the driveway and get out of his truck to pick up the mail my son dropped.
