I had gone for Vehicle state inspection at that time manager informed me that they also do windshield chip repair. When they did it they cracked my windshield glass. They asked me to get quotes from 3 vendors and they will take care for the damage. Every week I am going there ask to fix the damage. It's been 2 months and so far no action. I just get answer that manager is in meeting and they will arrange for replacement. Just now I called the corporate number and hope Jiffy Corporate take appropriate action. I, a woman, went in with my fiancé, a man, for my cars state inspection. Every time my fiancé was at my side they addressed him and not me. They then removed my air filter and clearly smeared grease on it to make it appear dirtier than it was since I barely replaced it 2 months ago. They then asked if I wanted to top up my coolant for $10 for what was, according to them, barely below the fill line then seemed butt hurt when I said I was just gonna pick some up at the store. After hurricane Harvey I knew I may have a little water in my transmission so I brought Monica (my car) in for a transmission flush. Service was good, the guys kept me updated and they move fast. Which is good because I hate waiting on my car, that's a man thing! The waiting room stinks of oil and old mop juices but I guess it comes with the territory. I paid $178 which is high to me but everyone is jacking up the prices due to high demand of car service. I watched and my fluid looked like coffee so I needed it. read more

The staff was very friendly, and the prices were great along with the location! They didnt pressure us to buy anything which was very nice since almost every other place does. There were two people ahead of us and we waited about 25 minutes which wasn't bad at all. The only con is that the waiting room was 82 degrees and we were in there with our 7 month old daughter. If they would get some sort of air conditioner in there they would most definitely get a 5 star review from us! read more

Cannot say enough about how incredible this location is. I live on the island and drove up to Jiffy Lube in Texas City for a quick in/out oil change. It turns out my car needed a lot of other work, because it has been a while since I have been able to afford any. Ended up desperately needing brake pads, rotors, and calibers. My car is 10 years old, and has spent the majority of that time in the snowy northeast, so it was incredibly rusted. The manager, Daniel, spent hours hand chipping off all of the accumulated rust in order to change the brakes/rotors, and eventually even called in Paul (30 years of experience) from another JL location to come down and help. They stayed well beyond closing to make sure everything was in excellent condition. I came back the next morning to get the calibers done, and Zaakir did an incredibly thorough job of removing more rust and getting those installed. I had to come back a third day because my emergency brake decided to stop working, and the crew immediately brought my car in and fully investigated absolutely everything to determine what was going on. Throughout the entire process, everyone was so polite and courteous, and constantly kept me fully up to date on timing and what was being done. They are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and hardworking. They even gave my dog a whole bunch of lovin' when he came along for the trip! I will never go anywhere else for my car as long as I live in Galveston. I fully recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

I bought an air filter here and 45 minutes later, after changing the oil, I still saw it sitting on top of the engine. I finally paid after they shut the hood and figured they had to put the air filter in or the hood would not shut. Next oil change I took it to someone else and sure enough, Jiffy Lube never put an air filter back in my van. Never called to say they accidentally left it out either. I would not recommend this particular Jiffy Lube location. While they were efficient in getting my car serviced, I question the quality of their service. In addition to getting the oil changed, I also wanted them to check my tire pressure, as a low pressure warning light appeared on the way to get the oil changed. The temperature had cooled considerably that morning. I alerted the greeter before agreeing to the service and he assured me that tire pressure was included in the service. As I paid the bill, I asked a 2nd person if the pressure had been checked. She assured me it was and the technician who delivered the car to me would give me the details. This third person said the pressure was checked and tired inflated to correct pressure of 35 psi. The receipt I received also said my tires were checked and adjusted. When I left Jiffy Lube, the warning light was still on, but I understand that it can take several minutes to correct itself. That didn't happen. I checked the tire pressures myself the following day and all were low. Once I added air to all 4 tires, the warning light disappeared. Because of this obvious error and possible deceit, it brings into question the quality of the entire oil change. I will not return to this Jiffy Lube location. read more

I tired to use 2 Groupon for $20 each and was lied to and was told me Amanda the manager that I could only use one. Then when I got home I read the comments and they put on there that I had a nail in the tire. I called back and the manager had to ask someone else what tire. I wanted the usual oil change. I was charge the higher level @55.00 not the $39.99. They had to bays open but we're only using one. When I got there was 4 vehicles in front of me and waited 45 min, witch was okay I do understand that they were busy. If they over charge everyone then someone is making off with some serious cash / bonus. read more

As soon as I pulled up I was greeted and asked what I was looking to have done. The whole process took about 20 minutes and the whole time the entire staff was friendly and professional. Found a $20 Groupon deal for area Jiffy Lubes and this was the closest one to the island. I drove up to the Mainland to pleasantly see that the place was pretty empty. There was only one car ahead of mine and they seemed to be moving pretty quickly. I went and sat in the waiting room and read my book for awhile before she came in to tell me what other services would benefit my car. I opted for an air filter change as well since it looked really dirty. What I really liked is there was no pressure to get any add-ons. She made recommendations and was not pushy or arrogant about it like other places I have been. I only got the services that were needed and they were really quick. The waiting room smelled like really bad body odor and there was terrible country music playing. I cant complain about the latter too much because I realize I am in Texas. There was a large selection of different kinds of magazines and that was a plus. I highly recommend going Monday-Thursday because they get really busy on Friday's and the weekends. I was in and out within a half hour and the service was friendly. They even vacuumed my sandy car mats. read more

I just moved to the area and needed a place to take my Jeep for oil changes and tire rotation. These guys (and gals) were great. It was pretty busy, but even then the wait wasn't too bad.
