My family and I have been using SABA since the day it opened and I have nothing but good things to say about they are honest, reliable, trustworthy, and more. My husband, who typically serviced his vehicle at the dealership in College Station, went to get it serviced recently and they called and said my husband had an oil leak and it was going to cost us $3k to repair. We put it off and watched the oil and checked the driveway and we never saw this oil leak so it was time for a second opinion. Because we were flying out of IAH, I told my husband to leave his truck with SABA and let them diagnose the issues while we were gone over the holiday weekend. Thank God I did because SABA fixed all the issues and told us there is no oil leak to be found. If you are looking for someone honest and reliable, this is the place. Went in to get my brake pads checked and possibly changed. Adel and Subhi looked it over and advised I get the rotors and pads changed. Great service! They walked me through the process and showed me the old vs new rotors. Great prices for this economy! I love the large lobby and plenty of comfortable places to sit while you're waiting. Went to Saba to get my brakes looked at and an oil change. Upon walking in I was given a warm welcome by Subhi. I let him know what I was in for and he said no problem and asked if I needed any food or beverage and got my car in the garage immediately. Honest, great prices, and they dont try to sell you anything that you dont need. Ladies please be ware do not take your car here,was charged for parts that they claimed to have replaced but the parts on my vehicle were brand new I have the receipts to prove it,they also changed and charged for spark plugs that I did not ask them to change,my car was taken there for a oil leak after labor and parts that they didn't actually replace I was charged a little over 800 bucks.Mechanics love to take advantage of women and that is ridiculous,this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ARE TOTAL CROOKS!!! I've spent over $3,000 trying to fix everything they covered up on the car when they sold it to me. They had rigged the transmission so it would function on the test drive but not after a long distance of driving. Several safety lights came on two days after I bought it, my mechanic said they had reset everything when I bought it so I wouldn't see all the issues. While my test drive was good, come to find out the car was completely not road worthy. They even showed me a clean car fax on it and later I ran one and it had an accident one it, they showed me a faked car fax. They even charged me $75 in the sale for detailing and the car was dirty inside and out when I took it home. read more

I took my 2003 Ranger, hands down the best vehicle I have ever owned, to Saba for a minor coolant leak. Minor in that the spot beneath the car was no bigger than the diameter of a coffee cup, but it didn't smell nor feel like pure coolant, so I called around and Saba could get to it straight away. I dropped it off, they called back and said there were 2 leaks. Coolant from a part available only through order, and an oil leak from a valve cover gasket. That would explain the peculiar feel and look of the spot beneath the Ranger. They gave me a price, I investigated pricing and it was in the middle, told them to do it. They kept it overnight waiting on a part, and called it ready the next day. I went to get it, paid up, and left. It began to leak coolant alone 2 days later. I looked beneath the hood, couldn't spot the leak, but found a 6 inch slice through the rubber coating and into the mesh webbing of the newly replace heater hose. I called, they said bring it in and I did. I showed them what I'd found, the mechanic looked nonplussed, and they took the Ranger into the shop immediately. They called before noon, I went to get the Ranger and was met by the shop manager who apologized for what I'd found and the fact I had to bring it back and be inconvenienced by a return for such an obvious error, that it would have never happened had he inspected the work himself, which caused me to ask myself why he had not. He showed me the cut assembly and told me to let him know about any further leaks. I left and sure enough there was a spot of coolant alone beneath the Ranger the next morning, but smaller. I called and told them I would drive it a day or so hoping that it was nothing more than leftover slop from the disassembly that would gradually drip or be blown away by the draft of driving. They said any problem, bring it back. It turned out to be just that. A day later the drip was gone and has stayed gone. I don't like having to pay a professional for careless work. If I can open the hood and plainly see a defect in a brand new part, I know well enough the wrench that did the work saw it as well. That is just shady business, hoping to save a few dollars and hoping the customer will not notice, but I have to add this in there: Saba was very pleasant about the re-do, apologized profusely for the inconvenience and they lost time and money on that mulligan. In fairness, though all that happened, for their attitude alone, I would let them service the Ranger again. I feel like what ever may happen, they would go some distance to make it right. read more

Our current cars are quite high mileage and we have been taking them to another mechanic for any major work, simply because they know the cars and we've "always" gone there. However, they are about 20 minutes away. We've been going to Saba for oil changes and small things since they've opened the shop on Magnolia. Previously I believe they ran the Exxon station at Palmer and 146 before HEB came in. GREAT service, very personable. Last time I took one of our cars there the tech greeted me with the type of service I had previously. As in - "Good afternoon - Castrol synthetic oil in this one, right?" These are good people running a good business. read more

Took car in to fix minor oil leaks. When we got the car back, it would hardly run. They "tried" two more times to fix the damage they did. They were not capable of repairing their damage - or even finding out what they did. I took the car to a real mechanic. When Saba "replaced" the gasket on the timing chain cover which they said was leaking, they messed up the timing chain - and made the cover leak far worse than before they charged to "fix" it. Their damage to the timing has ruined the engine. After their shoddy work, they were very unprofessional and refuse to even consider fixing their blunders. If you give them a chance to hurt you, too, I hope you have much better luck than I did. The best you can hope for is mediocre service at a high price. read more

I had taken my '98 Explorer to a shop called, The G Spot, because the driver's side door handle came off. ("Lovely" business name, by the way.) Even though a new door handle was put on, the door was in worse shape than before. So, I decided to take it here. They corrected The G Spot's mistakes and the door works fine now. We've never had problems with Saba. They are very friendly, honest, and reasonable. My Explorer often has issues, but I bring it here and it's fixed quickly. read more
