I always dread getting my oil changed because my experience has been being talked down to or trying to be upsold without a genuine explanation of why/how something would impact my car. Cassie discovered that a different Jiffy Lube had been using the wrong oil on my car, and let me know that it was not a big issue but explained what oil would be best for my year of car and why. Brought my car in they were done in two hours for brakes and pads. Excellent customer service.

Brought in my car for a basic oil, change and tail light replacement. The technician used a low coolant reservoir to scare me into buying a new radiator cap, even though my car had zero symptoms of overheating. They did not provide a part number on the receipt, did not give me the box, and did not return the original part to me. They push for these commissions as I've found many reviews on here same thing with the radiator cap and coolant reservoir story. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for 20 years first time at this location, but will be going elsewhere now and you should too. Dishonest business practices they are untrustworthy.! read more

I stopped in for a fast oil change. The tech said that my antifreeze was low and my radiator cap needed to be replaced. I had just (20 min before) had my radiator replaced and radiator cap at a different shop across the street. I declined the recommendation and drove back across the street and had a different shop check it out. They reported, and showed me, that the radiator fluid was full and the cap was new. They verified that the radiator cap was functional. Not cool Jiffy Lube. Shame on you. read more

They came within seconds of causing thousands of dollars of damage on my car by trying to lift it up using the edges of the plastic rocker panels/ coolant pipes when I told them at 5 times to only lift using the frame... Fortunately I was watching them after I was told I had to be in the waiting area. So far I don't think they screwed up the oil change but initially they did Under fill it even after I said 3 times that it is a four quart engine. I suppose they must not know how to count because they put 3 quarts in it. This place is the epitome of the bad reputation quick lube places have. Even with a coupon it's still a rip off. I've had problems with this location in the past but I needed my oil change so thought I would give it another chance. Drove in Saturday afternoon. Two attendants and no cars. They let me know it would be $159 to change my oil. I asked why the prices have gone up since last time and they told me it's the price of oil. I asked if I still get the car vacuumed and they told me they no longer offer that service. This place failed to inspect my battery... Keon is terrible at customer service and DIDN'T CARE about my bad experience.. HE IS THE MANAGER OF THIS PLACE.... I usually go to Valvoline or the Ford dealership but decided to give jiffy lube a chance to change my oil. Never again. They were nickel and dimed everything and I was charged $289.00. They tried to tell me my vehicle takes 7.5 qts of oil and lied and try to over charge me. They actually charged me additional for a "premium filter" that I did not ask for. Mentioned multiple times I had a couple and the service men are shady. They ended up refunding me some of my money back, CHECK YOUR RECEIPT TO SEE WHAT THEY ADDED ON! I went to Jiffy Lube to have an oil change, coolant flush, and other services per winterizing my car. I paid over $160. By the time I got home I noticed a burning smell and it continued and so I called Jiffy Lube. The person I spoke to said there was no way it could have been something they had done at the time of service. I was rudely turned away. After an extreme amount of concern that something was wrong, I scheduled an appointment with another company. They examined the car and said the coolant was low and the hose clamp was not tightened, thus coolant was leaking on the motor. They tightened the clamp, topped off coolant, and washed the motor to get rid of the leaked coolant. That cost me $150. I called and emailed Jiffy Lube and haven't received any response. This service cost me a lot of money and stress- I would not advise anyone to get service here. read more

Got an oil change done on January 19, 2023 at this location. When we got home parked car in the garage a few hours later left and noticed a 3 ft.² oil leak on the garage floor. I get that mistakes happen so contacted them brought the vehicle back, they discovered that the gasket on the oil cap filter was not properly installed to which they admitted it was there error when replacing. And due to the error there is oil all over the engine and my garage floor. The manager has offered a $20 credit for $110 oil change. Ridiculous! I now have to return home and clean my garage floor. Did not want to give these con artists a star but the review system requires you select on. I got scammed by them today. I went in for a battery replacement and was never given an estimate only a bill at the end after the battery was already installed and my car removed from the service bay. $ 259 for a battery with a 12 month warranty. I'm a disabled senior citizen that couldn't do the work myself due to disability and no tools. I would have never agreed to this outrageous price but the battery was in and my car was pulled out before I knew the cost. First and last time at ANY Jiffy Lube for me and my review is intended to help others avoid this scam . Dont agree to any work until you know what your cost is going to be. SHADY AND NOT HONEST. My wife went here yesterday for an oil change. Alongside the oil change, they inspect your car (which is nice) but they were pushy in having my wife pay extra money to fix what they diagnosed as wrong. My wife said she didn't have money in her bank account, but that didn't stop them. They told my wife that here brakes were "metal on metal" and that they would give her the oil change for free if she got new brakes. This is ridiculous, because her car hasn't even displayed warning signs of her brake pads wearing out. The following day (today), I took her car into my frequented trusted shop for auto repairs and they said her brakes were fine and had 60% left. Not only will we not return for oil changes, but we will let people know where NOT to go for anything to do with their car. Super shady, unprofessional, and unethical. read more

Not only was I charged a ridiculous amount. They didn't tighten the oil filter and I lost about a quarter of oil before I noticed. I decided to do another oil change myself and when doing the oil change I noticed they used the wrong oil filter, which could have potentially ruined my engine! Do not come here! read more

Dang- normally I love Jiffy- but they replaced a serpentine belt only to have it fail. When I came back- a pulley was bad and wanted to replace--ok, but why didn't you notice that when you changed the belt in the first place? Add insult to injury, now I have to pay for a new belt. Expected better from Jiffy. If I came in with a flat tire, they would look for the reason I had a flat tire right? Apparently with belts, they aren't going to look for a reason why it failed and just replace. Lesson learned UPDATE: Tried to email the guy that left a message here on YELP. 1 guess how that went? Finally was in a bay and waited another 30 minutes before they even came to my car, longest oil change I have ever got from pulling in to leaving it was over 2 hours. Showed up to Jiffylube in the early evening. 3 bays are open with cars being serviced. I was directed to pull behind the car in the middle bay. I was asked what services I needed. Oil change. Ok they said it takes about 15 minutes. The car ahead of me is finished I pull in and I wait. And wait. A car pulls up in the bay to my left. He's waiting. Then they start helping the guy to my left. 2 guys are just kinda milling around. I'm still waiting. They help with the car to my right. So 3 guys are working on one car, and another to the other car and one guys is still milling around. I sat there for about 15 minutes. Then I decided to go down the road to Valvoline where it literally took them 15 minutes to change my oil, filters and replace a headlight. All with great customer service. We were told we would be done and driving away in 30 minutes. 40 minutes later, we were told there were two cars in front of us. They were staffed for one bay on a weekend, but had all three bays open by the time we left, leaving two bays just sitting there waiting. The car being worked on when we left arrived after we did. Poor bay management, understaffing, poor expectation management, and a somewhat rude staff that was watching us and laughing as we drove away ensures that we won't be returning. I called in asking to get spark plugs replaced and if I needed to schedule the service. They said they can replace them and no need to schedule anything. I showed up and they refused to perform the service because they are understaff. Waste of time and gas coming to this place. Completely unreliable. read more

This Jiffy Lube replaced a tire for me and broke my tire pressure sensor in the process. They even put the tire on backwards. It's pretty funny but I probably won't use this jiffy lube for my tire needs anymore. It cost me $200. $100 to diagnose the problem and another $100 to get it fixed. Don't waste your time. Went to Jiffy Lube located in Hazel Dell on Highway 99 at 1:20 pm today. Only 2 cars ahead of me, and still I waited 40 minutes. Then an employee came out and said it would be another 40 'minutes. They had 5 or 6 employees standing around, and 2 were taking a very long smoke break. They were only working on one car. Then they told me they would give me a coupon and to come back later. Worse service I've ever had. I hope the owner or manager reads this review. They need to know what's happening at their business!
