I have been getting my car serviced at this location for the past few years and can honestly say that I am very very pleased with their excellent service. The guys are always quick to get you in and started on your oil change. On one occasion, I needed a headlamp light bulb replaced and the manager told me they did not carry light bulbs but that if I secured the light bulb they would be happy to swap out the burned out light bulb. After my oil change I popped over to the Auto Zone and picked up the light bulb and returned to the Grease Monkey location and they quickly replaced my bulb free of charge. Now that is great customer service! What impressed me the most is that they perform the services you ask and are not trying to up sell you on services you don't really need. Recently came in for a standard oil change, I've been using this location for the last 4 years without issue. This day after my oil change, my oil pressure light came on immediately after the oil change. The team at Grease Monkey immediately started to troubleshoot this issue. After a short time they discovered my oil filter sleeve was damaged during the oil change. They called the dealership, installed the part and got me on my way. Great service, above and beyond in my opinion. Car issues can be frustrating but other than a few hours I was happy to have to problem fixed for free. We have just learned of Grease Monkey from our local home delivery coupon pack. We normally get our oil change at Jiffy Lube as they often have coupons. When we tried to get an oil change this time, they told us it will take minimum of 45 minutes. We decided to go to Grease Monkey instead and checked them out. Now that we tried Grease Monkey, there is no going back. We love this place. The staff are very nice, knowledgeable and not pushy. You do have to get out of the car when they service your vehicle. Their waiting area is very clean. It comes with coffee station, bathrooms and water bottles. There is a TV monitor on the wall where you can see the service time. They claim that if it takes them longer to do the job than estimate, you get a dollar off for every dollar. Cool. After talking to the service guy he told us that there is another branch in Battle Ground but it is not owned by the same owner. Grease Monkey originated in Colorado and they are trying to expand. I just love how Grease Monkey operates and how they take care of their customers. Ever since I moved to Vancouver, I only come to Grease Monkey for all my oil changes. They are fast and their prices are upfront so you aren't surprised with any hidden fees. Also, their waiting room has light refreshments which makes such a huge difference as you want to have a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Lately, my car had the engine light on and I had no clue what it was for. I took my car in, in hopes that it was an easy fix. After a few minutes, they inform me that it had a code error of "P0420" which was related to a catalytic converter/O2 sensor problem. Unfortunately this was not something they were able to fix. When here today (September 8 at 12:45) the kid working just wanted to argue about what kind of oil change I wanted. Totally ignorant a-hole MF'er. So I left and went to Valvoline. He also mocked me and my car which is more car than he will ever be able to afford. Came in a bit hesitant after other experiences with quick oil change places where they tend to use "scare tactics" to upsell you products. Instead of sitting in your car during service, you sit in waiting room while they drive your car into service bay. There is a window if you want to see them servicing your vehicle. Staff were super professional and friendly, and did not pressure upsell you. Free coffee, water and mags available while you wait, and under 20 minute service time guarantee! Prices were typical for quick change place, and quite good if you have $15 to $20 off coupon from local ads. While actual service was probably same as similar places, 5 stars for how the staff treated us. This may have become our "go-to" place for simple auto service. read more

Went in for an oil change which should take less than a half hour when I'm the only customer there - somehow turned into a 2+ hour wait due to my oil pan being cracked by the tech. I get things happen, but talking poorly of your company, talking poorly of your customer thinking they can't overhear your conversations, being sarcastic, and giving very limited options (like keeping my car for 6 days to fix the damage for "free" - this option only coming after an hour or more of telling me that I would need to pay for the damages, then trying to rush me out with a JB weld which you know takes a day + to dry)... overall just poor customer service. Luckily Battle Ground Grease Monkey went out of their way to have my car towed/serviced at their shop free of charge (oh, and they were able to fix the damage the following day + fix my AC). Customer service is always on point + free vacuum/car wash! * thanks for charging me for the oil change after everything then leaving the front of my car dirty. Took our car here on a Sunday for a "free brake inspection". There were only 2 employees that seemed pretty aggressive & out of it. Said they needed to take all 4 tires off for the inspection. Car was returned back missing 3 lugnuts in a row on the back tire. Went back & asked if they forgot to put them on or where they went & seemed pretty anxious to get us out of there. First visit. Was not made clear to me what I was purchasing, for how much, or how long it would take. After about 10 minutes I am told that they have done A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and that will be $90. $90 for an oil change seems a little high, but I can swallow the price. It's the clear lack of professionalism and customer service orientation that made me uneasy about that long list of things I didn't ask for being done in 10 minutes. All I wanted was an oil change, and I want it done with care. The impression I was left with is Grease Monkey doesn't give a bleep about me. Where do I start. My favorite spot closed down [Autumn's Auto Lube] and this was my 3rd choice. Unfortunately, not the best choice. I paid $50 for the basic oil change including tax. Paper stated all items were full when they didn't even fill my windshield wiper fluid because my car still had the light on for it when I left. They also didn't vacuum & there was oil splattered on my engine. I called to complain when I arrived home after checking things out under the hood. The manager, David asked me to come back that day but I had other plans so I went back the following day and he said he would give take care of the oil change the next time around. Well yes, they did what they were supposed to be the first time but took 15 minutes to do so and in the end he gave me a card for a car wash out in Battle Ground and only $10 off my next oil change. Boo! I will be checking for some other places that are locally owned that actually give a $hit about keeping their clients or gaining new ones that actually pay attention and know better when they're being screwed over. I use to take all my vehicles there. Currently own two RAV4s', two Honda Pilots, and Duramax 250 diesel. Recently took truck in and was disgusted. Tried to ups sale me! Copper in brake lines? Just had brakes done at Les Scwab. Coolant flush? Coolant was recently done. Then transmission, I had Swineharts right down the street do full transmission service at 158,000. Truck has 188,000. Total horse shit! Can you imagine what this place does to women? My oil change ended up costing $135.00 same exact service in Battle Ground for $80. Never again! Avoid this place unless you like getting taken advantage of. BTW Dicks in Battle Ground around $80 for 5,000 minimum mileage before change. Rep at 4th plain grease Monkey said $84 for synthetic change. Didn't emphasize it was $ after certain number. $135 for an oil change?? No thanks I'll take all my vehicles north. I want to Thank Rod and his team. I went in on a Saturday at the last minute. After visiting four other shops in the area for a simple request. I just needed to have the top of the engine cleaned off. Due to a radiator hose that ruptured and cover the entire inside of the engine compartment in anti-freeze.
