I just realized that I haven't reviewed this shop yet. I have been coming here for 5 years. I'm a 70 year old woman, I never feel like they are trying to upsell me. When they told me I needed new brake pads before my trip. With any other shop I probably would have gotten a 2nd opinion and done some price shopping, I trust them. They also go above and beyond in their customer service. I 1st went there on the recommendation of a friend. The dealership had just quoted $110 to change a headlight bulb. When I asked them how much it would be, they quoted the price of the bulb, 20ish if I remember, and didn't charge me to put it in. Fast forward 5 years, I asked them to change my husband's headlight. They looked at it, it had a loose connection, they tightened it up at no charge. These seem like small things but it speaks volumes about the business. I highly recommend this shop. read more

He was relatable and they sounded like they were having fun which made the energy wonderful. Quick and didn't try to sell me anything but the oil change I needed. I appreciated the services on my car and the kind young employee who worked on my car. However, the manager, named Matt, screamed and cussed at his employees the whole time I was there waiting for my car to be serviced. He berated the same employee repeatedly and continued to yell at everyone around him. It was loud and incredibly aggressive. Another customer and I were witnesses to this horrible behavior and actually quite disturbed by the level of aggression he showed toward the young man. Showed up at 8:00am on a Saturday for an oil change, and was one of two customers. Service was outstanding, with fantastic value for your money. Zach was polite, professional, and highly efficient. I was in and out in maybe 15 minutes tops. Further, they saw our Marine Corps plates and offered a military discount. Just found my new go to place, and will be recommending family and friends alike. This was my first visit, it won't be my last. I bought an older Suzuki last fall, and it goes to a specialist in west Vancouver for parts and service, but routine oil changes can of course happen much closer to home. After a bad experience with one of their competitors, a friend recommended these guys. I couldn't be happier. I usually go to Valvoline, but saw great reviews for this place. The service was quick and the customer service was fantastic. I was charged for a full service oil change, but I'm pretty sure they only changed the oil/filter and put air in my tires. My receipt said they topped off the washer fluid, vacuumed, checked my lights, but none of that happened. The receipt even said my lights were working when my rear driver light is out. Seen great rating decided to try for oil change. Never again! Dishonest! The most expensive service in town (they don't disclose price for services on the website), but was told this is because "everything" is included, even car wash and interior vacuum. It took about 7 minutes to get "everything" done. Car wash didn't work (that day or at all?). Vacuuming was never done. Now not sure about oil. Outrageous. read more

I usually change my own oil however being a Lyft driver and needing frequent oil changes on top of a busy schedule and home life, I began using Havoline Xpress lube. last time I went they charged me for the oil change I decided to check the oil after I got home and noticed that the oil in my newer vehicle was extremely dark nearly black after only a few miles of driving. I then immediately changed the oil and filter myself. It is now time for another oil change and the oil is still way cleaner then it was after the Havoline guys failed to service it. so they'll take your money but no guarantees that you'll get what you pay for. Highly Recommend. As a yelper and someone who checks out reviews I anticipated a good experience. Havoline did not disappoint! As a female, these type of things can be intimidating since there are often horror stories of people getting ripped off. I have a 2011 Lexus that requires Synthetic Oil which is quite a bit more expensive. It was an added comfort this Havoline location has Exceptional Service! They made me feel 100% comfortable, took time to thoroughly explain all the options to me, I realized I was getting a good/fair value. It's apparent that Integrity, Courtesy, and overall great customer service and efficiency are instilled with all of the employees. Go here, this a great resource. With full service oil service change you also get a free car wash with either Shine In No Time, or Kaady Car Wash, at any location in the Portland/Vancouver. This is the place to go for all your vehicle needs. I am particularly weary and not a person who just trusts anyone with my cars so I assure you that my review reflects straight facts. I started taking my rides here for oil changes and on my first visit they exceeded my expectations. Friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable team of guys. Conveniently, you can drive in and stay in your car if you like and they served my daughter and me drinks had some good conversation, and made us feel comfortable. I spoke and dealt with Kurt who has great customer service skills and is friendly. He does not try to upsell he listens and makes good suggestions and he cares about the quality of work they are doing. They are lucky to have this guy on their team. They have a good mechanic who can handle anything minor or major repairs. I am willing to pay extra for quality services and they might charge more than some other shops in the area for labor but worth it! They have earned my trust and continued business. They have a nice waiting area, clean restrooms, and a car wash next door with a vacuum station area. They give a free car wash with oil changes. So nice to be back here getting things taken care of by honest mechanics. If they tell me something needs to be done I know it needs to happen and I know that they will charge is reasonable for the time and cost of the parts. I have sent friends here and they were also treated well and planned on continuing to use these guys as their mechanics. I recently had to get work done at a dealership and had to get a manager to go through the work order to confirm that they had done work I had not wanted done and finally he said they would refund the diagnostic fee for that work. My problem is that if I hadn't pushed they would have kept my money. This would never happen at Havoline. They are very clear about what needs to be done you give your permission (sign for it) and then they do the work you have agreed on, it also costs what they tell you it will cost. I'm thoroughly impressed. I rarely do reviews but felt this was warranted. The folks here were courteous and super efficient. After we told Matt what we needed, he asked us if we wanted something to drink before we even sat down. I know that we all have cell phones to keep us busy while waiting, but there was an assortment of magazines to choose from. Before I was done with the magazine, the mechanic was done with the service. I'm a first time customer but was treated like a long time customer. They forgot to put the oil cap back on the car. I started smelling something and think it was making me sick. When I looked the oil cap was just laying on the engine and not screwed in. Oil all over the engine. The only thing worse for an oil change station would be leaving the oil filter off. This should be one of those memes. You got one job. This is bad, especially for a place that costs more than going to the dealer. I would not do business with again. read more

This place is a joke I was selling my car and a young girl wanted to take it here for a inspection not sure why I thought she would rather take it to a qualified mechanic he some guy comes walking out giving me a dirty look I said hi he didn't say anything back I knew I was in trouble because she was cute and he was going to save the day he told her not to buy the car because the timing chain was going out and these turbos are junk cars I took it to my mechanic and he sprayed lubricant on a pulling and the ticking noise went away.
