Wow, very poor service. Had to wait in line for 20 minutes before they even checked me in but neither of the cars ahead of me were being worked on, they gave me some excuse about one of the cars ahead of me being a fleet vehicle and they needed to verify info, great but pull it out of line rather than let the line back up. Took over 20 minutes for them to even begin working on that vehicle. I've got a couple even bigger issues than that however. First, they didn't reset my oil service computer on my dash. Secondly, they didn't check the air in my tires, I even asked and they said yes but when I got back into my vehicle my front left tire was still a few pounds low low and the TPMS warning was still showing low pressure, so no they didn't check or add any air. Lastly, they got oil/grease all over my door panel and steering wheel(see photos). Very low level of service for something they charge over $100 for. I'd stay away from this establishment. read more

If Danny is still manager, don't waste your time. This place has been an utterly terrible experience for me the past three times I have been there. The previous time visiting Jiffy Lube in Woodstock, they asked if I wanted new air filters and showed me my current air filters. Not being too bad, I declined and they put the old ones back in. When driving away, there was a terrible, loud buzzing sound coming from my fan. I went back the next day and Danny (manager) tried his very best to fix it, with no solution, so I drove home unhappy that nothing was resolved. It took MONTHS for that sound to go away on its own. Today, after asking them today very clearly not to touch my filters to both employees helping me, multiple times, the message was not relayed to Danny who worked on my car and now it makes noise once again. When speaking my frustration with Danny (current manager), he had the audacity to argue with me, even ultimately raising his voice at me, telling me it was the engine making the noise, then saying it was my fan, and then that it was impossible that it had to do with him touching my filters, even though I asked them not to touch my filters, as I knew this would happen. Danny could most certainly use a PD on customer service. I was originally upset they ignored my specific request, but I was composed until he started to raise his voice and do nothing but argue. He ended the conversation saying that he now does not even hear a noise. No resolution. Not even an apology. I'm sorry, but I can't stand sleazy business. Own up to your mistakes. It might seem petty, but this was a huge deal to me and it was made much worse by the confrontational and unprofessional manager. read more

I entered the jiffy lube and specifically asked if I could get my tires rotated with my oil change . I was told "yes." Unfortunately, after waiting for 30 minutes , I finally was called out to the garage so they can try to sell me more expensive oil they inform me that I can't get my tires rotated because the lift is broken .... I would have really appreciated that when I asked them before I even got out of my vehicle . However, at that point my car was already being worked on so I was stuck. Anyway , after another 30 minutes my oil change was finally completed .... now I still have to go somewhere else to get my tires rotated . Next time, I will try somewhere else . read more

I went to Jiffy Lube yesterday, and they were very quick with their service. They were extremely friendly, and they brought out my air filter to show me why it needed to be replaced. The waiting room was extremely clean and even had chairs for my grandson to sit on. They were quick and reasonably priced I would certainly recommend this to anyone. read more

I came saturday with my girlfriend with our cars for an oil change and the electricity was out due to a storm and the guy told us to come back monday and offered us $25 if we came back on monday. He then began to write our license plate number down and then said have a good day. No big deal, stuff like that happens. So we came back monday around 11 and the guy directing us was off the bat rude (different guy then on saturday). He told us they were short staffed and to come back in an hour. So we wait again and head back and when we go he says it would be a half hour wait for each oil change which is alright i guess, but the way he was saying it was rude. he directed me to go behind my girlfriend and i waited. As my girlfriend was ready to get her oil change she instantly called me and told me he was rude to her. We began to stay on the call with each other and I can hear him talking to her about multiple things and he completely like interrupts her and talks over her. I can hear everything that's going on. After a half hour they finish and tells her the price is like $110 or around there i don't remember the exact number which is crazy since they only did an oil change. They didn't do or check anything else. She then begins to say she had gotten $25 off since they couldn't be open on saturday and he instantly rolls his eyes at her and says she needs a paper coupon which we didn't have since the guy never gave us one and only wrote down our plate numbers. He still gives it to her but he says next time he won't tolerate it. She pays and then leaves, then it's my turn. I park and then open my hood for them to start. The guy working on my car takes a personal phone call and is talking while working on my car. So unprofessional, it was unbelievable. While doing this, there's another car behind me waiting to be called up and they don't even go up to the car to let the person know or anything The person honks and then still nobody comes. 5 minutes later they direct her up. They slacked super hard and ignored her. I can tell she was upset since she was right next to me. Not Sure what she got but she ended up finishing before me and leaves. After my oil change is done the guy tells me it's gonna be $110 or somewhere around there. I tell him about the $25 off and he instantly gets upset again and in a stern voice says that he'll give it to but never again. His words were "sorry bud but next time I can't tolerate that". Like a sir or anything else would be fine but he kept calling me bud. I'm not your buddy man, nobody is with that attitude. but totally came out to be $91 which is weird since my girlfriends was $85 and mine was $91 when we got the same thing. I payed and left and definitely won't be returning and this was our first times coming to get an oil change. I do my oil changes but since i moved i got rid of most of my stuff so i thought for now i'd go to a place in town. But that was my mistake. Don't come here unless you want to get ripped off and treated horrible. I have the receipt and the guys name was Joseph F. or "joey" is what i heard the other guy call him. I walked in at 8:30am with my son and there was two techs standing at the counter as well as someone working the front desk by a computer. I asked if there was a long wait to get an oil change, guy went back to check with the garage, came back in and told me that it would be an hour & a half wait but he can get me an appointment later. He asked if 1 would work and I asked if there was anything later and he said he would put me in for 3pm. He asked me my name and the type of car I have. I made the appointment and walked out. Ended up needing to cancel the "appt" I made, so I called to be a DECENT human being and not be a NO-SHOW but when I called, the person that answered told me they don't take appointments and I said well that may be true but I was in this morning and the guy put me down for 3pm. And he said I have been here since open and you did not walk in and you did not make an appointment because we don't take appointments. YES I DID WALK IN and YES I DID GET ENTERED IN FOR 3PM but the rude man on the phone kept trying to argue with me. I am a customer that was trying to do the right thing by letting them know I would not be showing up but instead I got a rude person on the phone trying to disagree with everything I said. I asked is this the Woodstock location, he said yes, then yes I know exactly where I walked into this morning. Instead of taking 5 minutes to check under my name to see if maybe I was in the system for 3pm, he wanted to argue with everything I said. WILL NOT be going back. The team at the Catalpa Jiffy Lube in Woodstock are wonderful! I was on my way from Chicago to Woodstock (over 50 miles) to see my Grandma who ended up in the hospital unexpectedly, when I started to hear a scraping sound from the outside of my car on the expressway. Once I was able to finally pull off, I looked under and the cover for the undercarriage was loose and scraping the ground. Freaking out that I was so far from home, I called my husband and he suggested Jiffy Lube. This one ended up only being a few minutes from the hospital my Grandma was at. Long story short, Liz and her team (Arei & Marc) helped me out immediately, and were so kind. They fixed the issue within minutes, and I was on my way. Their customer service was incredible, and if I ever find myself out there, I would definitely go back. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if I could...I didn't even make it into Jiffy Lube, and had a terrible experience. Got there early, and was sitting in the parking lot waiting until 8am. A car pulled up at 7:45, and the young woman working, came to the door and yelled to the gentleman in the car that he had to wait til 8, when they opened. He drove away. At 5 to 8, another car pulled up, she came back out, yelled to the guy about the 8am open. It was obvious that she was frustrated, I pulled up and she yelled to me asking what I needed, I said an Oil change and she said, there's one vehicle in front of you, and you'll have to wait atleast 40 minutes because it's just me. I didn't mind the wait, but when she walked back into the garage, she got in a truck and pulled out of the garage and whipped around the station and almost hit me, I had to back up and make room for her to get her truck into the garage. Her attitude was unacceptable, even if it was just her working, she didn't need to have an attitude towards all of us. I would have waited, but the level of anger that she had was not customer friendly at all. I work in customer service and I understand that things happen out of your/our control, but I've never experienced that level of inappropriate conduct, especially at a Jiffy Lube. read more

I live in the city of Chicago, and I visit Woodstock on occasion. I like to check in with my parents and make sure they're well. In Chicago, it's a production getting small errands done, like getting your oil changed or the car washed. If it's your day off you lose your parking spot, you get stuck in traffic, and there are always people ahead of you and you're always waiting. I was going to write a stellar review on this location until my visit yesterday afternoon . Moya, my Toyota, needed a bath about 3 months ago. I had been putting it off because the winter was relentless and I didn't see the point in trying to clean the car when it was either raining or snowing hours later. I was so excited that I finally found the time to get her washed and I was only more excited to come back to Jiffy Lube and have them continue to service my vehicle. Once I drove up, I was immediately crushed. After spending a good 10 minutes going over wash options, and a la carte services, I picked the most expensive option at $21 and chose all of the other a la carte options that weren't included. My car really needed it. One of those add-on services included cleaning out the cup holders. When I drove up to the attendant, I expressed what I wanted and he was nice enough to let me know that some of the add-on options were included in my full-service wash. What irritated me, was that after we figured out everything I wanted to order, I asked him to pay special attention to the center console. I couldn't even finish my sentence before the guy started whining about how he wasn't going to do anything special for me. Then he got quiet toward the end of his speech. "Well, I guess you're paying for the cup-holder service." The guy cut me off once more when I explained that under my rubber floor mats, I wanted the cloth ones cleaned too. "We do not clean the cloth ones." I don't appreciate being cut off and as I have mentioned in previous reviews, I work customer service and it blows my mind that this guy can get away with speaking to customers this way. In fact, all the guys working the car wash were all well-fed, upset that they had to work outside in the blistering sunlight, cut customers off mid sentence, sweat at unnatural levels, and had horrible attitudes as a result. I'm sorry, but none of those conditions make it okay to snap on your customers. Lets remember that I ordered everything I possibly could on that wash menu, and it amounted to $30. I caught the name of one of the attendants, and I even think he was the manager on duty. His name is Jerry. It wasn't just me either. He was completely misogynistic towards a lady who came in to inquire about an oil change, and he kept cutting her off as well. Jerry's attitude was terrible all the way around. I had to give props to the woman and how she was very dismissive towards his verbiage that probably would have set anyone off if they weren't accepting of the idea that Woodstock is a backwoods town with little class anyway. As a retirement community, Woodstock is excellent! Once Moya was cleaned, the towel guy motioned to me to come outside, that my car was done. I was reluctant, but before getting into my car, I tipped the attendant $5. Outside my car looked great! Once I got into my car, however, they barely cleaned anything! There were still salt stains all over the floor of my car, and on the interior door panels. Even right under the window, there was still a salt trail from where I had to open the window in a desperate attempt to wipe down my side mirror during the last snow. They didn't even wipe down the door jams (the area where your feet pass over to get into the car)! I asked the attendant about the stains and the jams, and he's like, "Oh... okay." Reluctantly, he takes a completely dry towel and half-heartedly wipes all of the areas I addressed, only taking away half of the visibility of the stains. My advice would be to stick to getting oil changes. Although, I don't even know if that is sound advice because I didn't not recognize the same people from my last visit. Perhaps there is a lot of turnover. In which case, proceed with caution! Seems to me these guys are going to cut corners wherever they can. I paid $35 for a carwash that would have gone much further anywhere in Chicago. The places I'm thinking of even wash the car with their hands. Jiffy Lube, to my dismay, pushes your car through an automatic washer. I will never return here. Next time I won't be such a wuss about running errands in Chicago. read more

I just left the store in Woodstock. There was a young gentleman there by the name of Steve that took very good care of me. I had talked with him on the phone before arriving. He was a straight shooter and did everything very professionally. He even talked me into buying one of those air filters that I usually never do purchase. He found a coupon for me so I gave in and went ahead with it. I even told him I wanted to see the new filter before he put it in. He went one step further and allowed me to watch him install it back into the car. I told him I wanted to see the new one because they could throw the old one back in there and I would never know the difference. So I guess I have a peace of mind knowing that I have a new cabin air filter in my car. Naturally he had showed me my old filter and it was a little dirty. I told him that I have 60,000 miles on this car and it's probably the original air filter and I have a 2011 model. Steve and Jose were the other two guys there and they seem to be good guys and helped with my car. I'm lucky that in the middle Afternoon on Saturday I had a smooth experience at Jiffy Lube. read more

I would never, EVER have any service done to my car here again. My car started leaking oil at a rapid rate immediately after getting an oil change. I brought it back to them and was told it was nothing they did, maybe "the cold weather caused it to crack". Excuse my language but that's bs. At that time a technician told me that it was cracked when I brought it in and was told about it which is a bold faced lie. I was never told there was a problem with my car, at checkout I was told that they reset the oil life on my dashboard readout, which they didn't, and that I could come in and get a free top off on my oil anytime needed. Their stories contradict right there. First they told me it cracked because of the cold after my oil change, then I'm told it was already cracked when I brought it in and I was notified. Which is it?? At this point they shoved a card with corporates number on it and was told to take it up with them. Then I was asked in a very rude way if I wanted my money back. I told them, "no I just want my car fixed". I was told they couldn't do those type of repairs there and that was pretty much it. On Monday I will be calling corporate and see how they choose to resolve this issue. Bottom line, if you care about your car, don't bring it here. read more

They never did so i went out there to discover 2 mechanics working on one truck and the other sitting around! I then said I had to leave because I was on a tight schedule and the one mechanic replyed "your next in line don't leave we will have you done in ten minutes".I decided to say and wait. Well my wait ended up being another 40 minutes. So for a oil change I waited over an hour . I would of been ok with the wait if they would of told me when I got there that it would take 30-50 min. My husband and I have had our oil changed by this Jiffy Lube and had great service. As for the car wash attached to this Jiffy Lube DO NOT EVER us them. Paid $35 for highest level wash and mats cleaned. When I was given the car back the running boards were filthy and door jams and kick panels still very dirty. I returned this location and inquired and was told they cannot help what the person does that wipes off the car . If it isnt clean nothing they can do. I called the location and spoke to owner he asked me to return for the third time. I declined and he just stated he would look into the matter. He offered me NOTHING just as the second person I returned to talk to. Did not even offer to re wash the car. I will go to Fast Eddys where all of these things are standard. Over a hour wait for a simple oil change with only 1 car ahead of me and that 1 car was there for a while before I even arrived. Was charged $133 for Full Synthetic and new air filter on my F150 and that was with a coupon. Would have saved a lot of money and received better service going back to the dealership; which I will be doing from now on. They also added a $2 charge onto my final bill which no one could figure out how it got on there or how to refund it back to me. read more

Both the Jiffy Lube and Spring Clean Car Wash are great. Out of all the Jiffy Lube's out there, the Woodstock location is always the cleanest and the guys know what they are doing. The prices a little on the high end, but the guys working there aren't in control of those. Steve (the manager), Liz, and Shawn are always there to help out in any way that they can and really care about their customers. I've seen them stay completely friendly and professional even to some customers who treat them badly. Needless to say they will continue to have my business. read more
