I've already posted my review on this page, so I don't feel any need to reiterate my feelings about Jiffy Maids. Now, normally, I bite my tongue with reviews that I don't agree with. This is America and everyone deserves the right to their own opinion. Whatever it may be. But I felt I had to respond to the review posted by D L. I don't know who you are, but I certainly wish you had posted your picture. At first I was surprised when I read your comment. I thought to myself, 'What would make Jiffy Maids respond so rudely to a customer.' Thankfully, my curiosity got the better of me and I checked your profile page. Clearly, this is just something that you enjoy doing. Out of 5 reviews, you gave 4 of them 1 star. To each, citing that they talked to you rudely and hung up on you. Furthermore, the call you made to Jiffy is the day before you called were supposedly calling a fish market in MA. Now, I'm not a private investigator, but I think that you are some kind of solicitor or telemarketer who harasses businesses and then leaves them poor reviews when they dismiss you. I hang up on telemarketers every time they call. Honestly, sometimes I even get snarky, I'll admit it. You should be grateful that all they did was state that the owner is unavailable. Businesses are busy, they don't have time to play games with you to make you feel worthwhile. Pheww...I wrote a little more then I intended. But as a loyal Jiffy Maids customer, its difficult to read a comment like that, see the malice, and ignore it. read more

I called Jiffy Maids on short notice to have my new home "spring-cleaned". I try to keep my home super neat and clean but having just moved in and having the chaos and mess that comes with unpacking - I decided to turn to the professionals. They asked me a few key questions and the crew showed up right on time (the earlier side of an 8-10am window). To be honest, I'm pretty particular - and I was blown away with how great everything looked when the work was done. The hardwood floors were gleaming and the kitchen and bathrooms looked absolutely incredible. I wasn't planning on hiring for regular made service, but am considering hiring Jiffy Maids every 2-4 weeks based on the results from using them the first time. Thank you Jiffy Maids! read more

I have been a client of Jiffy Maids for the past 3-4 months based on the recommendation of a friend. I initially called for them to clean one time and was so impressed with their work that I have them clean my home every month. The staff is very professional, timely and trustworthy. They do a thorough cleaning of my home and always allow me to check their work before leaving, which I appreciate. The office staff is very accommodating if I need to change my appointment and they always call the week of my cleaning to confirm my appointment, which is a great reminder. Overall, I am very pleased with their service and have even recommended them to others that need cleaning services. read more

I've been working with Natalie since my initial call to get a price quote and I haven't had any issues with the cleaning at all. They clean as good as anybody else we've had come to our home but what thought was the BEST was the customer service..Natalie was very responsive, explained all the ins and outs..emailed, worked with us when we needed a specific time frame for the first cleaning because my husband wanted to be there...worked with us when we needed to reschedule because we'd be unavailable..sent appt reminders each time we had a cleaning scheduled etc...they're very professional and I would certainly recommend them. read more

Stay away from Jiffy Maids!!! The manager is a liar and is probably paying for all these seemingly fake reviews because it just doesn't make sense - they are terrible and I have the pictures to prove it. They have NOT tried everything to address my concerns - only piece-meal offerings that won't inconvenience him, so he can keep my money. Highway robbery - STAY AWAY. The maids are lazy. I am seriously considering taking him and his company to court, if only to put him out of business so he doesn't rob someone else. He is scum and lower than dirt - how ironic.... read more

I had to schedule a last minute cleaning due to a move in. The house was supposed to be cleaned by the owner before we moved but it was just a broom cleaning and not a deep clean. So I called Jiffy Maids and they were able to schedule me the next day. We had a little issue with the maids getting there (roads were closed and they were 2 hours late) but they tried to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. The two ladies did a wonderful job and I didn't even know that floors could sparkle that much! Will definitely use them again. read more

Just got my one bed one bath apt cleaned yesterday. I needed an emergency cleaning, so I called in the morning and they were able to come in the afternoon. Cristela and Nora were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly and the place looked like new after they left, especially the bath tub ( which I'm sure took a while). I highly recommend them. My advice for people looking for a good cleaning job is that they should be clear about what they need cleaned. If you're not going to be there, leave a clear list. read more

The good: They got the place thoroughly clean. The bad: 1. They managed to break a pretty expensive speaker cord. I mean, they literally cracked one of the connectors in half somehow, and this is a heavy duty professional cord. 2. Overcharging. The price for 3 hours and 10 minutes was close to 3.5 times the hourly rate. This is a minor issue, compared to the above. Unless everything in your house is made of solid diamond, use someone else. I never would have considered metal to be breakable. read more

I started using Jiffy Maids about a month ago, on the recommendation of a neighbor who was pleased with them. On the first visit, the team lead did a full walk-through with me, making notes about what I wanted them to clean, what not to touch, etc. They have been thorough, friendly and courteous (and they like our big dog!) The company sends an email reminder before every service, and puts the charges on a credit card so we don't have to deal with cash. I'm a happy customer. read more

I used Jiffy Maids years ago to have a house under my care "blitzed" before the owners returned. I recall the owners being wowed. This experience informed my decision to hire them again. Thus far, I have been pleased with the service and plan to sign up monthly. I love that we can schedule add on as needed such as steam clean the couch or clean the inside of the fridge. Updated review about Jiffy Maids. I lost my wallet and I was totally freaking out. Silly me dropped it outside my condo and incredibly the maids found it saw my ID and returned it to me! They could have kept it and I would have been none the wiser. I mean seriously. I had EVERYTHING inside my wallet including close to $100 in cash. I tried giving them a tip but they refused. Hired Jiffy Maids in June to steam my carpets, which they did for a flat rate despite spending a significant amount of extra time on one room where a dog sleeps. Not only were the staff kind, responsive, and helpful - the service was great and very competitively priced! 6 months later when landlord was giving us a hard time about proof of steaming, Jiffy Maids sent over an invoice within minutes of my requesting it. I began using Jiffy Maids years ago as a cleaning service for my one bedroom apartment. I can clean but nowhere near as good as Jiffy. I was really impressed by their service and began using them on a monthly basis. Now that I live in a 3 bedroom townhouse, I continue to be pleased with the quality of service they provide and when I call, they know my name. We have been using Jiffy Maids since 2013. First we used them in Washington DC and now they come to our home in Alexandria. We are extremely happy with the service. We have a lot of hardwood and the floors look great after a clean. They come every 3 weeks and do a wonderful job. The cleaners are professional, friendly and thorough.
