In addition, I have went there for breakfast at least 6 times and this is what my feedback is about. The staff taking breakfast orders at the deli counter is terrible. EACH AND EVERY TIME I have been there, the person taking the order is ambivalent, morose, unsmiling, impatient, short, or a combination of some or all. Now, this is the CUSTOMER FACING part of your store and yet, these people are sending out the signal that our breakfast business is unimportant and that our visit, TO YOUR STORE, is an imposition. Today, as an example, the woman was serving an older gentleman in front of me who was obviously having trouble hearing with the plexiglas shield and the fact that he was over 80. She was annoyed and it was clearly showing on her face and in her tone when telling the man to push certain buttons on the pin pad. He was getting flustered and she had no patience whatsoever. Just this side note, the MAJORITY of your customers each weekday morning are over 60. Try treating them like human beings and realize that some have hearing loss or move slower than others. Now, the price for the food is very reasonable but can someone clean the grill? when eggs come out with black charred remnants of past 'cooks' something is wrong with your clean up routine. In addition, hash browns shouldn't come out white. Cook the damn things so they brown up at least a little instead of trying to rush the order out. I just don't understand why the store doesn't put personable people out front and someone who cares about their job. I get that you won't get rich working there but if you don't want to work, then leave and find something else.

This smallish grocery store (by our spoiled SoCal standards) reminded me of grocery stores when I was a little kid: no big fancy displays, no gimmicks, no 10¢ a grocery bag... just a clean well-stocked grocery with nice folks running the joint. There is a low glass case at the meat department and--get this-- butchers working back there! Fresh produce and cold drinks, soft bread, and enough sugary junk for the kids... a couple of bags of ice and we were back on our way: mom making sandwiches on the truck center console, and kids rattling chips bags in the back seat. Can't imagine when we'll find our ways back here, but glad my brain has files away a memory here of a nice little grocery store. Is this heaven? ... it's Fareway.

The second time I went I looked at a known inexpensive food item Denty Moore beef stew. This place charges over five dollars almost 6 dollars for 20 ounce can. That is insane so I elected to no longer buy groceries from this place there's a Walmart 30 miles away and another small town and there's Dollar General in two different cities that aren't real far away. after looking at some of the other prices on some of the other stuff they have they are wanting to cater to millionaires evidently. The employees are very nice And helpful when you ask a question the reason for two stars his house so incredibly expensive stuff is at this place nowhere near competitive with anything else.
