Apparently, it opened about 2 years ago and somehow, didn't have any Yelp reviews. Well, I always enjoy checking out gift shops, especially when they feature a great deal from local artisans. When I first entered, I realized that the shop has three sections/rooms. The first is mostly gift items featuring candles that are made by and support women at Wheeler Misssion, funny socks, and a variety of items that suitable for gifts. Many have inspirational themes as well. The room beyond that features women's clothing and jewelry. I will let someone else who knows more about those things review these items, but the space was colorful and easy to move around in. The back room, or man cave, is small but is a great place for guys to hang out while their lady friend shops. There is a TV back there as well as some items that might be fun gifts for men. They've figured out the shopping experience of married life here! ha! Although I didn't get to meet the owner, the woman who was working during my visit was friendly and very helpful filling me in on the source of items and how the owner supports other local businesses and artisans. Enflora blew it out of the water on the day of the wedding! I still remember walking into the ceremony center for the first time the morning of the wedding and I couldn't believe how beautiful all of the flowers were. Even a week after my wedding, my bouquet still looks fantastic! Enflora was an absolte delight to work with. My husband and I had met with a few other florists prior to meeting with Enflora and the other florists told us we would need to purchase a minimum amount of flowers and decorations in order to work with us. Not Enflora! The members of Enflora really listened to me and didn't push me to purchase more than I wanted. So happy I worked with them and would recommend to anyone looking for their dream wedding flowers!

I usually shop at the store on Mass Ave, but I was in Carmel, so decided to check it out. The clerks were busy stocking shelves for Christmas when we entered, but welcomed us with big smiles. The shop seems a bit smaller that their other location, but still carries most of the same merchandise. They are known for their silver jewelry by various artists. Currently, they are featuring charm necklaces. An Indiana theme runs throughout the store with everything from Indiana necklaces to Indiana kitchen towels. It's a great place to pick up a gift with candles, art and even some local foods. I even saw a few toys and puzzles today for the kids. I was looking for a funny card and they have a small selection of cards but they were somewhat inappropriate to give a daughter. But they do have lots of crazy socks. There is street parking or parking behind the building.

I went to Sally Puckett to have business pictures done for my profile pictures on social media sites and her service was professional, extremely good and fair priced. I didn't have to wait long for my proofs and she delivered exactly what she promised. I have seen her work with family portraiture and it is excellent as well. Her senior pictures are a work of art and she is able to capture her subject in a manner that gives the viewer pause. Clearly she is an exceptional artist when it comes to her time she spends behind the camera. I have referred her to clients and family.

She detailed where I'd find the different genres of books, then I was off to explore. They have a few different rooms full of books in a variety of genres and age ranges. Romance, thriller, teen/YA, fantasy, memoir, children's books, themed coloring books, and more. There's a mix of new and used books, and the prices were very fair. I spent a lot of time exploring their shelves! They make good use of the space, with several nooks and wall spaces holding even more items. They have free coffee and tea you can help yourself to; just pick your favorite and use the little Keurig. I had a garden tea--ginger peach green tea--and it was nice to sip as I perused. If you're looking to treat yourself to some extra goodies along with your books, don't miss the bookish apparel, candles, and stickers! On my visit, they had these hand painted floral glass mugs too. So pretty! I could easily put together a really nice gift here, which is always a nice bonus in a bookshop. We often walk or drive past the Art & Soul Gallery and Frame Shop and admire the paintings in the…read morewindows. During the seasonal gallery walk in Carmel's Arts and Design District, we stopped in to take a closer look. There are many paintings here that I just love, especially a Fall scene that looks like a photograph if you squint your eyes ever so slightly while gazing at it. Our other favorites include a range of floral paintings rendered in bright and deep hues that are simply breathtaking. I would provide the artists' names in this review, but I cannot pull them from memory and a trip to the gallery Web site did not prove helpful at all - for a gallery with the inventory this place has, the site is disappointingly sparse in terms of digital images. Speaking of inventory, I did think Art & Soul was something of a sensory overload - at least for the eyes - as its works are kind of crowded together. Now, I am not a professional and have no gallery experience to fall back on, but I do appreciate the airy layout of Evan Lurie much better. I find it tough to truly enjoy one painting I may be attracted to when another is creeping in and imposing itself from the periphery. Also, we were not greeted in this store, either. We wanted to know more about the prices of the above-mentioned paintings, but we didn't want to interrupt the staff member's noshing. Weird, going on a gallery walk and not being approached or spoken to kind of feels like more of a trip to the art MUSEUM.

This is probably my new favorite shop! The retail director, Justin checked me out with great energy, lots of kindness and overflowing with pride over how wonderful this space has become. They were also hosting a mending class while I was there and I cannot wait to try to attend an event there in the future. I bought a print and a plant and it was extremely affordable. There is street parking available and it's located across from the creative review store so it's a convenient block of art and art supplies.

She convinced me to do my wedding reception "my way" and was inspiring...at first. Once I hired her and agreed to her services which were to include wedding planning and floral arrangements, decor and organization, I was underwhelmed by her lack of interest in my event, answering my questions in a timely manner, or calling me back. I thought she was terrible at the wedding planning portion of our contract. She also didn't shop for things. She just hired the vendors she worked with regularly. I asked her to find a caricature artist, and she quoted me one option who was way out of budget. My husband and I ended up finding our own caricature artist for $100 cheaper an hour! What is the point of having a wedding planner if she doesn't shop around for you? We did all of our own planning despite having her, b/c she wasn't helpful at all in recommending affordable options. Closer to my date, I gave her a list of all my vendors so she could contact them while I was on my honeymoon (I had a destination wedding and planned my at home reception a week after returning). She did NOT contact any of my vendors, so they had no idea what time to be at the reception venue, how to get there, how to get in early, etc. She was worthless in this aspect, which I considered to be a simple task. I also requested that she get a projector and screen which she adamantly attempted to talk me out of. She refused to help get one until the last minute, when she finally did what I asked and got me my requests. She also attempted to talk me out of my white BM dresses, which I wanted for an all white beach wedding. She was not supportive or interested in my choices. She did everything she could to get me to stretch my budget, despite the fact that we were paying for everything ourselves and needed to stay within our budget. She pressured us time and time again to stretch it. She was pushy and rude and often sarcastic about our decisions. When the day finally arrived: She had a team decorating my reception venue and it did turn out looking nice, but the weather was awful and instead of assisting my guests get into the building and find the appropriate door, she went missing. She was not helpful to me once the room was decorated and was MIA during the majority of my event. Was it worth having her there to set up and tear down...yes! Mostly b/c I didn't want to do this myself, but I paid nearly $3K worth of services and go BARE minimum service and she was the most unreliable person who was involved in my planning process, which is fairly ironic considering she was the PLANNER. Her flowers were beautiful but nothing special or that we could not have done by purchasing them at Marsh and tying ribbons around them. The only reason we did not fire her is b/c we used the Stutz and she worked in the building and supposedly had connections to make things happen better and more smoothly, but in the end, we did everything ourselves. We didn't need her and I don't think anyone else does either. Last but not least, she actually said to my husband about six months after our reception that she was disappointed we didn't TIP her. Not only is this unprofessional and ridiculous, but there is no way on God's green earth we would be giving her ADDITIONAL money for a job that SUCKED. We considered SUING her for our money back...let alone TIP this woman who made our wedding stress so much worse! And for her to have the nerve to mention this just shows exactly how disrespectful and self-righteous she is. She didn't go above and beyond. She BARELY pulled off the minimum and I cannot believe she thought otherwise living in her own special floral world. I do NOT recommend her and would be afraid that she would stress you out too much. There are plenty of other professional wedding planners in town and I would not waste your money on Tiffany. She is not very nice, not very attentive and made for a difficult planning process full of annoyances, unreturned calls and ultimately too much stress, when the sole purpose of hiring her is to help make things easier. I would do anything in my power to take back hiring her and I do not want anyone to suffer through the stress I did when planning. Yes, it was nearly two years ago, but I still have an awful taste in my mouth from my experience and don't want anyone else to go through this. Please consider hiring ANYONE else besides Tiffany. She is NOT good at her job.

She listened to my ideas and created the most beautiful wedding I could have ever dreamed of. She also put me in contact with a fantastic photographer, BPL Images. The flowers were more than what I expected. Tiffany also made sure everyone was in place and had a very detailed timeline. The rehearsal, wedding, and reception ran perfect. Everyone was where they needed to be. My husband Jon and I had ample time to enjoy our guests without the pressure of feeling rushed around. I am still receiving compliments on how beautiful everything was. We left for our honeymoon the next morning. She made sure all of our gifts and personal belongings were taken care of so we did not have to worry about them while we were on our vacation. The entire process was amazing. Everything was made simple and we did not have any stress throughout the entire year of planning. Tiffany is very detailed oriented. She was in contact with all of my vendors, including the DJ. She also decorated the cake with gorgeous flowers that really stood out. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner and florist. She comes highly recommended. She has 20+ years of experience and knows the ins and outs of every aspect of planning a wedding. I have friends that are planning weddings and as soon as they saw our wedding they immediately asked me for Tiffany's information.
