Very disappointed in this contractor's complete lack of professionalism, accuracy and follow-through. Use at your own risk.

I appreciated that there was no price difference whether we did them concurrently versus sequentially. We went with the latter so that we could have a bathroom available for everyone to use. Zack and Jeremy were the project managers for my remodel and they were great throughout. Highly responsive and attentive to my needs. Bonus shout outs to their subcontractors who did electrical, tiles, and cabinets because they were extremely friendly, timely, and clean. I'd recommend Zenith for your bathroom remodeling needs.

I knew that whatever house project we worked on next, I was going to hire someone who could bring the quality we wanted. I first reached out to Zenith Builder about potential home projects and met with Zuriel in 2023. He was honest and gave his perspective on the different options we were considering. We ended up not going through with any projects at that time because everything was out of our budget and we needed to figure out what we wanted. Fast forward to this past April, we finally decided to remodel our garage. I didn't even hesitate and knew I wanted to hire Zenith. Zuriel came out again and talked through the details of the different options we were considering. Once we decided on the initial scope, they started and worked quickly. The project manager was really communicative and easy to work with. When we added scope in the middle of the project, Zuriel was transparent about the additional costs and even though we approved over text, he would still quickly put together the documentation to send over for approval. If you're looking for a stress-free experience in remodeling/construction, look no further because Zenith is your answer. After the experiences we had, Zenith is worth every penny. I will use them again when we do our next home renovation.

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

Go Home Builders did a wonderful job with our primary bathroom remodel. We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

At first we tried to do it ourselves by finding family recommended architect to draw prints for us for submission and whatever else the city wants. Then we tried to find contracts and they either stuck up their noses at us or didn't even bother showing up at the appointment. Finding a trustworthy contractor is hard. So I looked up Yelp and found Mr. Parrague and initially contacted one of the reviewer, Henry, because he offered to shed more light on his experience. He was so kind and highly recommened Parrague Construction. And I'm living in another country and my Mom's English isn't fluent enough to handle this kind of matter. So I called Mr. Parrague and he made me feel safe. He is a one stop shop because I wasn't sure if the city was going to ask to redo the blueprints or not. He was very professional, on-time, and does not push for extra things just to make more money, in fact it's the opposite. He is tough, which you need to be when dealing with the city, and very experienced. He will go out of his way to help you. His crew is clean and his assistant is also kind and very communicative, but Mr. Parrague usually is your main point of contact. He likes to handle the calls himself. Once my mom called around 5pm saying they installed the garage door wrong (they did not) and I thought she got locked out of the house. I had to call Mr. Parrague from outside the country (Skype) and he said he will go straight to my house after his meeting which was an hour away from my house bc they had my spare key. I told my mom and realized she wasn't locked out. So whether it was installed correctly or not, it was NOT an emergency. I quickly messaged Mr. Parrague because it can be dealt the next day. I didn't want him to get in an accident trekking across LA. He understood and STILL showed up! This is now probably 7pm. They figured out that it was my Mom who didn't understand how the new garage door worked....So I am so thankful for them for their work and for dealing with the City and get me approved and case closed. I am a fan. XD

In February, my wife and I had a house fire. The dishwasher burst into flames (according to a…read morefirefighter, this is something that happens with plastic lined dishwashers - go check yours) and long story short, the interior of our house was totaled. All that survived was the roof and the exterior walls. This matters because we didn't plan on a rebuild or remodel and we were also dealing with the emotional toll of losing most of our belongings. It was a stressful time and at the same time we had to move fast to hire a contractor. The insurance company wouldn't put us up in a rental unit forever. On a recommendation from a friend, we met Karin S. of WIC Construction Services. We liked Karin immediately on a personal level. We already knew she did quality work from our friend's experience, what we needed was someone who did both quality work and was someone we could lean on and also someone who knew how to work with the insurance company. Karin was extremely patient with us, walking us through the necessary steps. There were portions of the rebuild that the insurance company was going to cover and portions that we were going to pay for on our own because as long as we were getting a whole new interior, we figured we might as well do it the way we wanted. Karin easily worked within our budget while also dealing with the insurance company every step of the way. This really mattered to us. WIC Constructions Services employs a full team. Karin was on site often, but her team worked very well she was on other jobs. They take care of everything from drywall to plumbing to painting. I should note that my wife and I happen to have a close family friend who is an electrician and we were insistent that whatever contractor we worked with would work with our electrician. Karin couldn't have been more accommodating and worked well with a subcontractor who wasn't her regular electrician. Just as importantly, she understood that it was important to us that our friend handle the rewiring and other electrical needs and she willingly worked with our person. We ended up with a whole new house (the inside anyway) and we couldn't be more pleased. Karin had great ideas on designs and worked really hard to create something that was our style. It was really important to us that she get to know us and get to know our taste and she did that. At the same time, Karin had great ideas and suggestions - she knew so much more than we did about remodeling and because of the fire and the deadlines imposed by the insurance company we weren't able to just take as long as we wanted to make decisions. At some level, drywall is drywall. Installing cabinets is installing cabinets. Putting in tiles is putting in tiles. Unless you end up working with someone crooked, any good contractor can do the basics. (Though I have to say, Karin and her team had wonderful attention to detail.) What sets Karin and WIC Construction Services apart is the humane and supportive way you will be treated. Yes, Karin has a great eye for design and detail and her team is talented and easy to work with. But just as important is you will find yourself working with someone who not only knows her stuff, but someone who really cares about you and your project. We can't recommend Karin and WIC Construction highly enough. Five stars.
