My wife and I contracted Carlos to remodel a home we purchased in Sierra Madre. The project was conducted over two phases. First, his team remodeled the interior before our family moved in. In the second phase, he expanded the dining room area and built a front entry, foyer, mud room, and laundry room to connect the house to the detached garage while our family was residing in the house. From the initial planning and throughout the entire remodeling and construction, Carlos was in constant communication with us, via email, text, and phone. He ensured that everything is running according to schedule and handled the entire permit process with the city of Sierra Madre with very little delay, which is no easy task for a notoriously stringent city for home remodeling. My wife and I were initially very concerned about the prospect of adding a new area while we are living there with two very young children. But in the end, our fear was unfounded as Carlos did a wonderful job to minimize any interruption to our lives even as we had to go through breaking down couple walls while living in the house. As seen in the before and after pictures I posted, Carlos' team did a fantastic job modernizing our home and making it a very open and comfortable space. When we first purchased our home, the layout was very odd with the front door entrance at the middle side of the house along with many other strange idiosyncrasies. Carlos and his team worked meticulously with what was previously existing and did his magic to seamlessly blend in the newly built area. Our family, along with any visitor who has seen the before and after, marveled at how naturally the new layout flows and yet how hard it is to now distinguish the new addition from the preexisting portion. All in all, Carlos was a superb project manager due to his communication skill and willingness to follow up at any time. The highest compliment I can pay him is that for a long and complex project like ours, we were relatively stress-free and we were very satisfied at how everything turned out so smoothly and nicely. Our family is very grateful for Carlos and his team for creating a wonderful home for us. We highly recommend for anyone who wants to remodel in the SGV to contact Carlos and I would be happy to share my experience more in detail if you would like to PM me.

We used Parrague Construction for remodeling almost our entire back yard. Carlos designed and built our fabulous outdoor dream space. His attention to detail and responsiveness as well as accountability was beyond impressive. We still contact him today with inquiries and he responds in a very timely and professional manner. My wife and I are forever grateful to Carlos for creating our outdoor dream.

When we decided to do an addition for my mother in law to move in, I drafted some sketches of the addition I wanted. Carlos came up with a layout that met our needs but made more efficient use of the space, which gave us a 675 sf addition. Carlos gave us an estimate which did not change much when the final plans were approved. With minor exceptions, he completed the work without change orders (the only ones were for extra work we requested). Carlos was very diligent and completed the work according to schedule. We are very happy that we selected Carlos and my mother in law is very happy now in her new master suite. CR

Bonus shout outs to their subcontractors who did electrical, tiles, and cabinets because they were extremely friendly, timely, and clean. I'd recommend Zenith for your bathroom remodeling needs.

A contract was agreed upon that thoroughly described every step of the project, all inspections required and when payments were due. Zenith Builder provided a professional crew. The Project Manager kept me informed who would be at my house and what work they would be doing. The demolition crew was quick, complete and hauled away all the trash leaving my property clean and ready for construction. What was so wonderful about this new shower was the expert person who worked tirelessly on tiling this shower. He incorporated my ideas to use decorative tile in certain places and always gave excellent suggestions on tile placement. To me, this shower is a work of art. Zenith Builder promoted the concept that the overall bathroom would be enhanced even though their work was focused on the shower. Their crew painted the entire bathroom instead of doing patch work repairs. The result is a beautiful completed bathroom. I am very pleased with the work performed by Zenith Builder and would use them again or recommend them to others. Their professional crew and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. This project was completed in a timely manor and it is a joy to have a spacious, lovely working shower instead of a falling apart bathtub.

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

Go Home Builders did a wonderful job with our primary bathroom remodel. We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Our project manager Tamir was exceptional -- responsive, organized, and clearly invested in the quality of the work. He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

The remodel included changing the old plaster to mini pebble, installing new tile, adding a new LED pool light, and doing the deco seal around the pool. Once all the materials were ordered and ready, the actual work was completed in about a week, which I was really happy about. Tamir kept everything organized and the crew stayed on schedule. I also appreciated that he was able to accommodate a couple of last-minute additions I requested during the project and made sure everything was taken care of. I always hear nightmare stories of contractors stalling their jobs and trying to rip you off or not responding in a timely manner. But Amin and his team are truly professionals. Jose is like his right hand man and gets the job done. Not only getting the job done but does it very well. From his showroom, we were able to pick out all the designs that we wanted and seeing the end result, I was truly impressed. His prices are fair and he's upfront about everything. Amin will answer any questions you have throughout the entire process. Even if you text him at 9pm he will respond quick. If he says something will be done by a certain time frame, he will ensure that it is done. I really wanted LED mirrors at the end and he wasn't able to do it. We were even willing to pay extra for it! We ended up having to get plain, boring mirrors with no LED which was pretty disappointing. Also, one of the biggest issue I had was I wanted all the outlets changed since the previous ones were yellow and old but he said it'll be an additional charge. White walls and yellow outlets? EWWW!! We pretty much did a whole gut renovation and spent a fortune but couldn't get our outlets switched out. I thought it would be an easy switch but apparently he said it costs to change bc it has to do with the electrical aspect of it. Didn't know that but now I know. We ended up finding a handyman to do it at less than a fraction of his price. Although we had a few disagreements here and there but from start to finish, Amin was available to answer our questions, concerns and help fix anything. He is so easy to work with and made this whole process extremely seamless. The team was able to get everything done and we moved in on the date that we wanted to.
