The food is good ish, but it wasn't as much as an emotional experience finding a mom and pop spot in the back woods that has amazing bbq. The sides were ok, this is where the mom and pop locations shine. Corn was ok and had better Mac. The meat was good but the brisket was dry. Maybe I had just an old or bad slice. This could depend of when you come and will give them a pass on that. Found it over priced to be honest. I enjoyed it, sadly I don't think I will be back. There's something to be said about a place that I continue to return to but haven't reviewed yet. That means they're doing something right and I have no complaints. Wheelchair accessible is a major plus. Clean establishment and restrooms. Staff is always friendly and offer conversation as well as food recommendations. We typically like the three meat and sides plate. It's enough food for two people. I've had every combination possible. I most enjoy their jalapeño cheddar sausage and chicken. My husband loves the ribs. I also love getting the bbq sandwich off the kids menu for something smaller. Get the baked beans and potato salad. Slaw is vinegar based. Brisket chili is another good option for a small upcharge. Everything is so good! And served hot. You also get complimentary cheddar biscuits for an appetizer. Drinks include a full bar and coke products. Patio is dog friendly so bring fido along! read more

We walked in to a full house! They greeted us with happy faces and served us quickly! I was impressed with how quickly our food arrived. It was so fresh and delicious. The lighting and music are literally perfect in here. Our meals were delicious and the desserts were nice also. I've been to Jim 'N Nick's BBQ a few times at the Warner Robins location and the service was quite nice with no issues in the past but today's visit at 11:00 am in the morning was horrible. Here's why: When I received my order the hamburger meat tasted like it was dried out not cooked very long and the hamburger meat split half down on the left side. My mother's pull pork meat tasted like it was also dried out as well didn't have much of a taste on both hamburger meat and the pull pork for the pull pork sandwich. The fries for both entrees were soggy I am not sure if the cooks were overwhelmed with how busy they were getting with all the restaurants guest coming in to eat or what the issue was causing this. With someone that has a high food allergy in which I told the lady at the takeout ordering area that I had a high food allergy she went back there to the cooks and explained why it says no seasoning on my entree only (hamburger and fries). So not sure if words were crossed with the staff. Yes, I tried calling this location kept putting me on a long hold with no response so I am not sure what happen there. Ambiance is casual with a tv so you can watch your favorite game while eating or having a drink at the bar. We were driving from FL to GA for a wedding and were so excited to see a Jim n Nicks!! We used to go to the Bluffton,SC one all the time when we lived there so it was awesome to have it again! The staff were AMAZING! So friendly and kind but also so supportive of each other! They were celebrating a Manager getting a promotion and all the staff just seemed so happy for them! My 7 yr old son was so excited he was even in the back clapping with them! It was genuinely so lovely to see a group of hard working employees who looked happy at their job! I loved the quick service aspect! It made it so much faster for us because we had 2 kids! And I loved the patio! The weather was perfect and they had so much seating space! And the food-always delicious and so flavorful! The cheesy bread is a classic staple for Jim N Nicks and one you just can't stop eating! I got a burger and it was delicious as always! My husband got the 2 meat platter and was soo excited that they had Jalapeño Cheddar sausage links!! Our 1 yr old loved the Mac n Cheese and baked Beans! Such a great experience. The staff couldn't have been nicer--they gave our dog, baby, and toddler so much attention and even treated us to cheese muffins. And the food was absolutely delicious. First time here and it was awesome! We were fortunate to get a spot here since it gets so busy so quickly. I ordered the half BBQ chicken with mac & cheese and fries. I originally intended to get the fruit cup, but I got pressured (in the friendliest way) to get the mac & cheese, and I have no regrets! The chicken was cooked perfectly, it was so juicy and flavorful. The patio area where we sat was nice and comfortable. Finished off our meal with some delicious lemon pie! Decided to try this place for lunch with my Dad. When you arrive, you place your order at the counter which can be a little overwhelming if you're a first time visitor. But take your time, the staff is friendly and patient. And the lady behind the counter had a great suggestion for first timers... if you have a choice of white or barbecue sauce, order white on the side, and barbecue is on the table! The white sauce has a little kick to it, but both are excellent. I had a turkey sandwich with collard greens. The turkey was excellent, thick cuts that were so moist (sorry if you dislike that word), and the greens were not overcooked and had excellent flavor. My dad had the catfish which he said were also excellent. Atmosphere can be a little loud, so not a space for intimate conversation. There is lots of outside seating if it's a nice day. They have soft drinks as well as excellent tea and lemonade. I'll be back to try additional items, but so far it's excellent! read more

We stood at the register in front of two employees for about two minutes without being acknowledged. One briefly glanced up but said nothing, while the other didn't look up at all. Not even a simple "Hi, we'll be with you shortly." It would've taken just a couple of seconds to acknowledge a customer, and we would've understood. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer- 3/5 rating they were ok but there were more chips than toppings and the chips were a little stale. Half chicken with fries and potato salad. 3/5 rating. The chicken was dry and the potato salad did not have any flavor. Jim's pick 3 meat rating is 3/5 The ribs were nice and tender. Sides were just ok. Corn was basic as well as the onion rings and muffins - just ok Jim's combo plate 3/5 rating Meat was good but again the sides were just ok. The potato could have used a lot more topping and it was over cooked. Lastly the cost. This place is way overpriced and for this reason we will not go back. We picked up our order so can't speak to the ambiance or service. Though they do seem to have the take out service nailed. We had the Bbq hamburger with everything and thought it really good. The baked beans were very good, not the usual Campbells. The smoked chicken was excellent!!! However I ordered it on the southern chopped salad and that was a disappointment. It had only the usual salad stuff but not the corn, smoked onions, bacon that would make it special. And when I order a "chopped" salad that's what I want - cut into small pieces. I was REALLY looking forward to my first experience at Jim 'N Nicks. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more disappointed. I found JNN here on Yelp, read the many glowing reviews but what actually SOLD me was when I asked a local where to find some GOOD ribs, the first place he named was JNN. I thought, "Well there it is! If the locals are recommending them, the food MUST be good! Can't say why I drew the short straw but my order of ribs was awful! Barely edible, actually. Half of the bones had meat so hard I could barely chew it. Some portions I couldn't even chew at all; like chewing on wood fibers or something. Perhaps they were reheated in a microwave or these had been sitting in the warmer all day. But whatever the reason, they didn't live up to hype. And you know what they say, "FIRST impressions are lasting." Sadly, I'm left with the impression that JNN isn't too concerned about that. Which is surprising considering how friendly the cashier was when taking my order. We'd never met before and it's not too hard to tell I'm not from the area. I'd hate to think THAT might be the reason in and of itself. BUT, making sure that every order makes an impression like it's going to be a lasting, first impression, CLEARLY is NOT on the menu. On the bright side though, the smoked wings were actually pretty good and despite being a little bland, the collards were passable. That said, whether it was giving me the oldest bones in the warmer or, zapping them too long in the microwave, my order of ribs totally SUCKED (and I don't mean 'the meat right off the bones.') Food is delicious and is SO fresh (even though they were closing in less than an hour) - the meats are juicy (not dried out), potato salad is like your mama's, bbq sauce is delicious (and I'm not a fan of vinegar based), beans are good and Mac and cheese is da bomb (per my 15 yr old ). Btw - you get a lot of food! Customer service is outstanding, which you wouldn't necessarily expect when you order up front at a counter and then sit, and they bring your food to your table. If you like to eat outdoors they have misting fans and the indoor area isn't too bright, like a lot of commercial restaurants. Jim's combo for me, had to pick 2 meats- pulled pork and turkey, and 2 sides- bbq corn on cob (recommend!) and coleslaw, with a $3 jalapeno cheddar sausage kicker. Food did not disappoint! Only negative is no toothpicks! Never been to a good BBQ restaurant that didn't have complimentary toothpicks. Thumbs up. A new restaurant to warner robins and I've been twice. This was my 1st time eating here at this chain. I've used the drive thru both times. Quite a wait but good service and it moves along pretty well considering how crowded that it is. The first time I got the ribs meal. They weren't tender or falling off the bone so that was disappointing but they had a food flavor. Also, didn't like (didn't know it was included) that they had 2 pickles on top. Yuck (I can't stand the taste of pickles). It would be nice if they had listed that in the description or asked if you wanted them when you place the order. The rib meal otherwise was very good. The Mac and cheese and collard greens were scrumptious and you get 2 cheese biscuits. Those cheese biscuits are addicting. They taste so good. Indescribable. Like a little sweet biscuit. They don't have the dry like texture you'd expect with biscuits. They're more like a muffin type texture I would say. The 2nd time I got the honey habanero bbq wings and banana pie (and the biscuits lol). That was really good too. Wings were delicious and just the right amount of heat. Horrible! Their brisket is an extra addon cost for a platter and you get maybe three dry slices! Their counter service encourages their servers to ignore people at the tables.
