They advised me when I was eligible for discounts--like when my daughter was in school, and they handled my calls (Yolanda handling some some of them personally) , and they were all resolved at least to my satisfaction. There was never a problem getting paid on a claim. I ride the subway now, but If I get a car again, I'll be calling the Yolanda Lockhart-Gibbs agency.

But I was I was given Kevin's name via word of mouth and I am SO HAPPY about that! He is personable and kind, easy to work with, and extremely patient. He explained everything in a manner that actually made sense to me (a person who is not in the insurance industry) and he gave me a quote that beat the other companies I spoke with over the last few days. I now have car insurance with better coverage and a lower deductible ($500) AND renters insurance with great coverage as well all for LESS than anyone else quoted me for solely car insurance with a $1,000 deductible. Progressive is delaying the process unnecessarily assigning to an adjuster that is overbooked. I called the adjuster Victoria Cross to ask for the appraiser information, she stated she would email it to me if she was allowed to release that information. I called my lender and they provided the phone number and email address to progressives appraiser. I called the appraiser and they advised progressive did not send him the information needed to work on the appraisal, such as the total loss valuation, proof, and other requirements. So I reached back out to progressive to let the adjuster know that I spoke with the appraiser and he needed that information. She emailed me back to tell me that they have assigned a new appraiser and the turn around time is now 2-3 more weeks. The date of loss is 04/10/2026, it has already been over a month. I will never choose progressive again and I do not recommend their insurance

I sent in my id for verification. Since I have a Class E which is possible for hire, the rate drastically shot up. I don't recommend anyone to sign up with this company.

I had been with Progressive insurance for the last several years and they started off pretty good but I made the mistake of joining their "snapshot" program and after 6 months regretted I ever did, I got dinged for everything! My insurance kept going up higher and higher and I was puzzled bcuz I'm a senior citizen with no accidents or anything on my record and my credit score was good so I wasn't understanding why I wasn't getting better rates. I paid over $300 a year for renter's insurance...WHY?!! And almost $800 every 6 months, soon to be over $800 on my next 6 month renewal in June for car insurance on a car 10 years old!!! I received a card in the mail some time back from Kathy, looked at it and laid it on the table with all my other unread mail, thank God I didn't throw it away! When it came to me just how much I was spending on insurance, I remembered the card and decided to call the lady on the card to see what difference she could make and boy am I glad I did. Her office is close to home, her assistants were very hospitable and I got the service I had been longing for. Turns out Donna was able to get me comparable coverage for almost $500 cheaper than what Progressive was charging me and I paid $200 less for renter's insurance. Talk about saving me money, that's a nice chunk of change, thank God I didn't toss Kathy's card in the trash as I normally would have thinking it was just junk mail!!!
