I have a 24' Motorhome. I was traveling north in Alabama and had noticed my outside tire on my dooley was constantly loosing air. I was suggested to go to Jim Whaley's. He had his employee Teasha to take care of my tire situation. Oh my goodness, she was awesome. She found a big screw in it after removing the tire, put a big plug in it and put it back on. She checked all 5 of my other tires to make sure they were all where they needed to be. I don't live in Dothan, Al however if any of you do I suggest you use Jim Whaley Tire service. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here! They've screwed us over in more than one occasion. I won't use them again. The first time, they replaced something that had just been replaced. I let them know that was just fixed. They said it needed it anyway. After they replaced that issue, it was still overheating. They then said it must have been something else in the first place but they had to start somewhere. They deducted the original part that they replaced but wouldn't refund the $200 for labor, even though they replaced something that was perfectly fine in the first place. The second time, my husband got his tires replaced and when we got it back, it sounded like metal scrubbing and it wasn't driving right. Now they are charging us $350 for something that was not broke when we took it to them. I don't recommend them as they just start replacing things hoping that it will be what was broken and by the time they get to the broken part you've replaced perfectly good parts that have cost you an arm and a leg. AND you get your vehicle back worse than it was before and they don't fix their mistakes. Well, they will but you will have to pay them to do it! read more

Traveling to Rosemary Beach, we had a blowout 10 miles south of Dothan. Spare was flat. Called Jim Whaley Tires. They arrived with air compressor to pump up tire within 30 minutes, so we could drive to store to get a new pair of shoes. 45 minutes later, we were back on the road! Super friendly and fast! Jim Whaleys at 1940 S Oates, Dothan is very professional, honest, dependable and trustworthy. They have been taking care of my vehicle for over 4 years and always done a great job. July 2017 I tried to use a closer Jim Whaley's at 4143 W Main St, Dothan. It was a disaster. I ended up going back numerous times. All I wanted was an oil change, fluids checked and tires rotated. I ended up with 2 new tires which was probably ok. Got the car home and had to put water in windshield washer. Had to go back to get tire sensors synced, tire pressure fixed, and show scratches on wheel hubs. Was told manager would call me when he gets back into town but he never did. Not a surprise. Two days later a friend looked at oil and it was dirty. Not sure what happened but it appears they didn't drain all the old oil out. Learned my lesson. From now on I will drive 4 times further to get the right service. read more
