In conversations with the shop, they even revealed a mechanic had "taken it home on the weekend" to work on it -- admirable effort maybe, but completely unprofessional. When the shipper came, the car wasn't fully put back together: several items were installed improperly, part of the grille was tossed in the passenger seat, and the car was absolutely filthy. The air conditioner repair (the whole reason it was in the shop) still wasn't working -- again, after six weeks. I'll concede this is a classic car, but if you don't have the expertise to work on one, you shouldn't agree to provide service.

I've been here three times in about the last year or so, I heard they were good. First time was…read morefor an alignment, second time I asked them to pressure test for a coolant leak, last time for tire mount and balance. First visit I had no issues. Second visit they were unable to find the leak, so I took it to the Ford dealership and they were able to find and fix the same day (spoiler alert, it was the heater core hose, guys). Last visit earlier this year I took in wheels and tires for mount and balance. They had them for a month before I just came and took them back to try somewhere else. They were able to get 3/4 of them done. They absolutely destroyed the finish on all four of the wheels, so severely in fact that in some places the metal surface of the wheel is also damaged. Against my better judgement, when I was asked if they could use ether to help seat the bead, I trusted them and said "do what you gotta do". Well, the guy used so much of the stuff it appears that the sidewall of one of the tires actually caught on fire. Goodbye warranty. This also destroyed the tire pressure monitor so completely that it doesn't even know what a psi is anymore. Tremendously disappointed to have had my things treated this way. Here's the kicker, I was still charged for mount and balance x4 even though they couldn't get the last one finished. I had to take it to Discount Tire in Dothan to finish the job. Which they did, by the way in about an hour. I guess it helps when you've got the right equipment and know what you're doing. Who knew? Aside from the poor work ethic there was absolutely no communication from them during the entire month they had the wheels and tires. Moral of the story is find a different shop. As far as I'm concerned this place is a barrel of monkeys.

I noticed after my tire rotation that my car drifted slightly to the right so I took it back in for them to check it out. Instead of communicating that they felt my car had no issues, they then performed a service on my car without my consent. when I question staff member Corey Blalock as why they put the tires back to how they were pre-service I was given different reasons. First he said it was because my tires were unevenly worn.( I have a 2025 nissan Sentra that had less than 5,000 miles at the time of service.) Then he stated it was because of the uneven roads of Dothan. When I questioned why they would put them back after I paid for the rotation, he stated they "fixed the problem/complaint I had"(leaving me to believe it was done out of spite because of my "complaint".)Then when I further pushed the issue about it, I was met with a condescending-attitude, with him stating that he could've charged me for a service I was unaware of and how they switched them back for "free" as if they were doing me a favor. My wife called me to tell me her car broke down when the serpentine belt snapped and her friend from work was bringing her a new belt from Autozone. I was stuck at work so I told her to get a tow to Evans automotive. I called Evans to let them know and asked him to also fit a new coolant reservoir which was in a box in the trunk (2 bolts and a hose clip). He called me later that day to tell me the work would cost $1,250. I said what?? He said $1250. I said $1,250 to put a fan belt on are you serious?? He said yes because the tensioner pulley is broken. (A $40 part) I said ok how much will it be without doing the coolant reservoir? He said $650. (So he was going to charge $600 to replace the plastic coolant container - a one bolt 2 minute job.) Of course I was stuck because my wife has already paid to have her car towed to his shop and she needed her car so I had to accept being totally ripped off and pay them $650 to put the fan belt on but that will never happen again because I will never recommend my wife or anyone get a tow to Evans Garage ever again.

They replaced a Light Truck (LT) tire with a regular one and now my 3/4 ton truck has one tire that is NOT a load range E tire. That new tire can only support 1700 lbs instead of 2700 lbs. I would like to believe the technicians know what load range means at a professional tire shop. So disappointed and done with Jim Whaley tire in Enterprise.
