Took my vehicle in a couple weeks ago to see if they'd be able to repair a tire that's been leaking. Picked it up at the end of the day and they stated it could not be repaired as I had a nail on the shoulder of the tread. Ok, I understand, thanks for looking at it. I was also informed that my battery tested low. Uhhh, I didn't ask for them to check my battery, but ok. I get on the highway to go home and as soon as I get up to cruise speed my hood starts to lift! Whatever clown they're employing did not properly close the hood. I'll leave it to your imagination how that could possibly have turned out. Immediate four way hazards on, pull over off the highway, hope I don't get shwacked by traffic behind me, get out and close hood. I just now got back from Jim Whaley's where they took the tire with no hesitation and had it repaired in about 30 minutes. I will not return. read more

There is a reason they can take you right away. After an $1100 A/C repair my wife's car ran hot and the engine light came on. After towing it back, a "regional manager" told my wife she needed a new engine. Towed it to a competitor who did a full diagnosis and determined the engine was fine. 7k miles later it's still fine. Could it be they forgot to plug in the radiator fan after the A/C repair? Beware. We have the documentation. read more

The level of service quality has gone to hell in a hand basket. I've had a car left with greasy hand prints inside and out, been left feeling like they don't care about the customer. This is sad as I'm a former store manager for this company. read more

I was in Marianna visiting family and noticed something was wobbling while I was driving. The Nissan dealership recommended I go to Firestone.. I didn't realize that my tires were in such bad shape...I had a bubble on front passenger tire and a lot of wear on the others.. Came in to this Firestone today (1/4/2015) to get battery service. They actually didn't take too long to help me out and determine what I already knew that the vehicle needed a new battery. They swapped it out pretty quick, I was there maybe forty five minutes. However, I wouldn't recommend taking your car here unless you take your car in completely clean, as in, don't have anything loose in your car that might look good to take as I left this location missing an expensive pair of sunglasses I had just set down before I walked inside the Firestone waiting area. The moment I got in my car I reached for my sunglasses where I put them EVERY time I drive and I had just been wearing them before I parked the car, and they were gone. My first instinct was to search every nook and cranny around my seats, all the places something might fall - nothing. So, I went back in to ask the staff about the glasses missing from my car hoping maybe someone who worked there really hadn't taken them, but just bumped it out of my car on mistake and of course no one "saw" anything. The thing about the glasses that really makes me angry isn't the value of them, but that they belonged to my grand dad who has passed on. I'm a creature of habit being in the military, and I place things in the same place and have a routine so I don't forget things - it was no different with simple stuff like my glasses and all I know for sure is that I set them down in my car where I ALWAYS put them and after Firestone did service on my car - gone. read more

We brought our two vehicles in for 8am oil change apts. At 10am the car was in the bay and the truck had not even been started on. The Manager apologized for the one oil change taking 2 hours with an appointment that should have taken 1hr max. He did discount the service on the car for the inconvenience. We decided to take the truck elsewhere for its service. Then when I got home I saw my car was leaking oil...I took the car back and Firestone insured the bolt was tight and cleaned the skid-plate. read more

Waited over 2 hours to fix a flat. I asked them to "look" at another to make sure it's okay. The man working on it said he couldn't find anything wrong with the second tire (but still charged me). I asked the guy at the counter "so you charged me to just look at the other tire?" He said no we "sealed the tire" i.e. did absolutely nothing and made it sound like they did. After I pay I confront him and say "look man next time (there won't be a next time) you have to tell me you're going to work on this, I asked you to look at it and that was it." He lied to me and said "no, you said to work on it" I said "no, I asked you to look at it and the mechanic told me he couldn't touch it unless there was a "work order" i.e. there might not be anything wrong but they will to fabricate something. On top of that, they broke my tire pressure sensor and put in a new one and told me to go to a dealership to reprogram it because they didn't know how. Just looked at my statement now that I'm home and sure enough the charges include fixing a flat on the tire that was okay. After all was said and done I paid $50 for them to remove a nail and wave a magic wand over the second tire. I absolutely loathe those who try to take advantage of servicemembers' and their money. read more

The battery on my car was dead this morning, so I called around town to find the best price for a new battery. Firestone on base was the cheapest and they sell interstate batteries, which is better than some other folks in the area. The lady I talked to on the phone was polite and helpful. I walked in and talked to a gentleman right away who was polite and helpful; I was in and out within 5 minutes, with a new battery. I didn't get any services, just the part and installed it myself. read more

Service took twice as long as they estimated

This place should be banned from post. It's a shame that it's allowed to be on post taking advantage of service members. Before deploying to Europe to took my truck in for service. I asked to check the differential, transmission & tire sensor. They every sensor except the faulty one. Even after I explained the location of the faulty sensor. They ensured me everything had repaired and what wasn't, would not be a problem. A month after I arrived in Europe all unfix repairs came to light. Being in Europe all parts and repairs were double the price cause my truck was considered a foreign truck. Thanks!! read more

Towed my car to their shop on a Saturday because it wouldn't start. I was told it would be looked at by the end of the day. They didn't get to it until Monday (after I called several times). They called me about an hour after they started work to tell me it was fixed. A few days later it wouldn't start again. It took them twice as long as they estimated and they never discovered the actual problem. read more

Took my almost brand new car in with a slow leak in one tire. Took it there because it's 3 minutes from work. Told me they couldn't repair the tire. Told me I needed new tires. The car has 20,000 miles. Told me I needed several other things totaling $900. Took it downtown, got the tire repaired for $15. read more

Do not, EVER, take your vehicle here. I purchased lifetime alignment. I have had my alignment done 7 times since 2013. After one of the rotate and aligns, I found that they had not put 2 lug nuts back on one of my back tires. Didn't notice until I got home. Could have had an accident. Called them and they couldn't find them. They told me they must have fallen off on my way home. Took it in to have rotation, balance, alignment done and they refused to do the rotate and balance because I had 2/32" of tread left. After talking to the manager, he told me 1/16" was the limit of tread he could do a rotation on. Wait, what? What's the difference? So, I will never go to Firestone again, no location, ever. They also refused to show me calibration certificate of their alignment machine after one of the alignments because I had to take it back to be checked because it wasn't right. The local tire shop told me they will be happy to rotate my tires for the this afternoon and that they hope I buy my new tires from them. Why, yes, I think I will. read more
