Small, hole in the wall burger spot. I came in for a late lunch and there was no wait so it took about 5 minutes for my food to come out. I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries. The double smash burger looked small but it was actually quite filling. The ends were crisp, the burger was soo juicy aka greasy, and topped off well with their special sauce. I loved it! The fries were a big portion- good to share for 2 people. There is limited seating - 2 tables with 4 stools per table. Plus standing room for about 2 people.

This tiny outpost of 7th Street Burger was clean, easy to order, efficient in quick friendly service and getting my deliciously greasy burger and fries within minutes. No frills burger joint that does it right. They also actually have some tables and chairs here to sit and feast.

If you're looking for a juicy, greasy, DELICIOUS burger, this is the place to go. What a staple, during the day for a quick bite or even late after a night out. I really enjoyed my cheeseburger! The spicy house sauce is so yummy and pairs well with the crispy fries, which are so worth it. Other than the burger being a little tiny (therefore plan accordingly based on your levels of hunger haha), this place was fire.

After browsing for hidden gems in NYC and being stalled by eating too much pizza, I had the urge to grab a burger with fries and made my way to 7th Street Burger. This place had a consistent flow of online orders being picked up and that's always a good sign to me. My crew and I waited approximately 15 mins but I was on vacation, so I didn't really notice. Each menu item is sold a la carte style, so it adds up. I got the single burger, no cheese with fries and a cup of their ghost pepper sauce. The buns were soft, fries were fried perfectly, overall a great burger :) The inside can fit about 2 groups with 4 people per table, but takeout seems to be the go-to. It's a hole in the wall, so limited seating can be expected.

7th Street Burger - UWS ON Amsterdam Ave, NYC is a small, quaint but vibrant burger joint with the VERY BEST, Food, Service, and cool atmosphere of joyful hospitality and great place to eat and have awesomeness.

OK, these pictures are not gonna be aesthetic. I was starving. I had a meeting at Tiktok headquarters in New York and I was looking for something to eat after my event there and something told me to just walk towards Penn station and as I'm walking I see a regular store front say burger and I said wow I think I could use a burger not knowing that this was a very well-known burger spot. I ordered my food. First of all there was barely any seating, but I managed to find one I sat down and then, in a blink of an eye, the place filled up to the point of the line started going out the door that burger was absolutely delicious. The menu is like no frill I had asked for bacon and they said we don't do bacon here so it really is just a really good quality simple burger, but it is delicious. The toppings that they do have are delicious the sauces are great, they do give a lot of fries and it's really good fresh in the moment but when it gets colder, it's not so great I would go back to New York just to try this burger again but luckily I think there's a couple of spots in New Jersey as well. So if you're near one of these locations, 10/10, I recommend trying and this would've been a five star review. It is a five star review for the burger actually no I'll keep it The four star lol because I do wish they would include bacon. I don't know why they don't and there should be a little bit more seating, but I understand.

Super delicious but pricey for a burger and some fries. The burgers all come the same way. Service is quick and there is seating within, but it's limited.

Literal best burger of my life. The staff was amazing, the manager was so sweet and kind to patrons and his staff. Extra shout out to Andrew- super sweet guy and really helpful.

i got the cheeseburger and fries. i would say that this place matches the hype that it gets. the bun was so soft, like it was prolly the best bun i've had from a burger place. the burger meat was also good but i'd prolly get the double next time for a better meat bun ratio, tho i will say the burger was on the greasier side, but the fries were good well seasoned. it was a pretty pricy about $14 for a single cheeseburger and fries and it was pretty packed so there wasn't much of a chance to have a seat.

A great no frills smash burger that's the perfect meaty meal to fill you up. I love that they have a vegetarian option for those that are vegetarian or would rather not eat meat and still eat a burger. Their impossible patties are every bit as good as their beef ones! I usually get a double cheeseburger and an order of their impossible fries and man does it hit the spot! Their house sauce is also AMAZING so definitely get it if you like your burgers with sauce. Their impossible fries have a patty (can be made with an impossible patty too!) cheese and is doused with their house sauce and grilled onions. Overall, it's a quick turn around with each burger made to order, great service, but limited seating similar to their other locations! It's quite greasy but sometimes it's just what you need! Check out my foodsta @chiuventure for a closer look and more details of my dining experience here as well as other establishments in NYC and around the world!

Wow! Do they dip the wrappers in the fry oil??!?

Second dinner spot after Sushi 35 West. In keeping with meals on the go, we ordered a double and fries to go. We had gone to an Elite event at Commonpoint in Queens a few weeks back (thank you Queens CM Sam!!), and it was good so I wanted to try one fresh off the grill and it was worth it. If you are turned off by grease, this is not the place for you because there is grease almost everywhere!! On the wrapper, the buns, all over the burger. But interestingly, not so much on the fries, which were super crispy and flavorful! Obviously the fresh burger was better than the ones we got at the Yelp event, but what made the burger and fries even better were the spicy side sauce that I belatedly added to the order. The cashier was so nice because he just threw it in rather than ringing it up. The spicy peppers they add to the sauce really gave the burger and fries a nice kick!! Not too spicy but just enough to liven it up! Try it and thank me later! I wish I took a picture of fries because they were very good (well seasoned and crispy outside but pillowy inside) but my hands were so greasy from taking the burger out that I did not want to touch anything after.

I have tried a previous location of 7th Street Burger and felt it was just okay but this time around, I was highly impressed. Their menu is simple: burger, cheeseburger, impossible burger, fries, and loaded fries. You can make any of the burgers a double. The loaded fries were amazing. Honestly there's so much to love, it could easily be a meal on its own. The fries were served extra crispy, topped with meat (can be regular burger meat or impossible meat), and drenched in special sauce. It was indulgent deliciousness. Would be great for a hangover meal. I also got the double impossible burger. The impossible meat was very juicy and savory. A friend ordered the regular burger and it was honestly hard to tell which was which. The double burger is super filling and the smashed style makes for a perfectly balanced bite. Though there were a few hiccups with incorrect orders (ours was initially wrong and we saw quite a few other customers with issues), the employee at the register was super kind and apologetic. She did a great job of keeping the restaurant clean and making sure all customers were happy. The shop itself has a small bench, two high top tables, and a counter against the wall. Except for the bench, there is no seating so it's definitely a grab-and-go spot. Everything was delicious and I'm now a huge fan of this place.

best smash burger in NYC...and it did not disappoint. @7thstreetburgernyc is a perfect smash of grilled onions, beef and a secret house sauce. SO good! it's basically standing room only not that many chairs, and the service was great. My burger came out in a matter of minutes, and it was amazing! Insta: @thehungrysw

We were thrilled to find two seats at the end of the bar when we arrived. As luck would have it, the two gentlemen next to us eventually left, allowing us to slide over and enjoy an even better view of the TV for the rest of the game. I started with a Tito's and club soda, but unfortunately, something seemed off--perhaps the club soda was flat. The drink just wasn't good. To their credit, the bartender took it back without hesitation and was very accommodating. I then ordered a Negroni after the woman sitting next to us highly recommended it. I don't usually drink gin, but this cocktail was absolutely delicious and changed my mind. Since we were there for several hours, we shared an order of zucchini and eggplant chips and happily snacked on them throughout the game. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a nice mix of ages and people enjoying the evening. We made sure to leave our bartender a generous tip since we occupied our seats for the entire game. Even though the Knicks didn't pull out a win that night, we certainly didn't leave defeated. I'd happily return for another game, cocktail, and fun evening out. And maybe even get dinner there. Little did I know there was another big room in the ack once you past the restrooms. They were having a thriving business there!

He was constantly busy zippin around but maintained a nice demeanor and made everyone feel welcome! Must orders of mine: the burger! Although small, it comes out piping hot and the fresh white onion between the bottom bun and burger is awesome because it doesn't make the bottom bun soggy and catches all the juices from the actual meat. Love subbing the fries for a Caesar salad! Standout appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki-- crispy, hot, juicy and I get it every time!

The bread was fluffy and not dry, which I had seen previous reviews say before. Paired with the creamy truffle butter, it had a luxurious mouthfeel. My favorite was the pork chop (cognac, sweet prunes, bacon, rosemary) -- the sweet and soft texture of the prune was melted in my mouth like fat, and the pork was tender, with the rosemary also coming through. The vodka rigatoni was a skip, somewhat bland and one-note, we ended up putting some of the truffle butter and garlic aioli from the fries to make it more flavorful. This was especially in contrast with the spicy shrimp pasta which was much tastier. Also got the strawberry vacherin (strawberry ice cream, meringue, vanilla whipped cream), it was my first time having this dessert. The tartness of the strawberry was great with the fluffy meringue and the sweet ice cream. Service was extremely attentive, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with moody lighting.
