We went on a Thursday night around 7:30 pm and we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. The place was busting at the seams busy. It's super cute inside and outside. We were brought our drinks and served warm bread and butter as we surfed the menu for our dinner choices. To start we got the Sicilian rice and cheese balls as an appetizer. And they did not disappoint. I preferred the marinara sauce over the ranch. For dinner I got the carbonara and Mark got the chicken fettuccine. Our portions were enough to fed two extra people. But who's complaining we have lunch for tomorrow. This place was great. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when visiting the area now.

Great little spot to get your pasta kick! The servers were nice and the food came out in a timely manner. The place is on the smaller side so the only negative is the loud unsavory conversation beside us. We ordered the carbonara and a seafood pasta both of which were delicious. They didn't give us bread for the table and the waitress took a little long to greet us once we were seated but overall it was a good experience. Also, the tiramisu is delicious and one of the best I've tried in this county!

The food was great, the service was amazing. We really enjoyed tonight's dinner. With love Colorado!

On the recommendation of my friend, Jeopardy John, we are here last night. I had the pasta puttanesca. It was good and bad. Bad: my dish had the top of the tomato called the calyx which I don't believe is edible. Good: taste, well prepared and appetizing to the eye.

Amazing service and great food, we will definitely be back! Ordered Caesar Salads, Chicken Parm and Pesto Tortellini. The Pesto Tortellini was the star of the show!

Never disappointed! We try to make Sunday dinners at Jimmy's we love how welcoming this place is. The cute casual cafe diner vibe, the friendly servers to the owners in the kitchen singing away at the Italian music overheard on the speakers. I've never been disappointed or left hungry! And I'll let you in on a little secret the spumoni is incredible!!! Sure parking can be difficult at times but if you can't get a table surely you can order takeaway because Jimmy D's is a must! The baked penne is one of my favorites the creamy cheesy goodness is like a hug from Nonna! I wish Jimmy's would adopt me! Goo goo heart eyes!

Is my beloved cannelloni ever offered as a special? I see it is no longer on the menu.

They don't have nightly specials but it is on the menu I've seen him make it several times over the last several weeks. It's one of my favorites it's super yummy. Thank you so much for coming in

5 star all day! great atmosphere…read more service was top notch. food was fresh and super delish. highly recommend!!

While staying in Pismo with family, they wanted to take us to their favorite Italian restaurant and…read morewe chose to have dinner in the Cucina...they have another location right next door, which isn't as "fancy" as their sit down place. Tables covered with white linen as well as linen napkins, stepping up the ambiance. Our server, Maricella, was great, friendly, and very attentive. We started with their Caesar salad, which is made with fresh, largely torn romaine lettuce and covered with both grated and shaved parmesan cheese. There were a few crutons scattered and we opted to add anchovies to our salad. I also asked for extra dressing because typically salads don't come with much and I'm a dressing gal! Ok, so the salad itself was great and fresh and the anchovies were good and not greasy or fishy tasting. The dressing was an issue and I really didn't care for it. Wife said it was "ok" but we've had way better dressing elsewhere. She chose the Ravioli di Zucca, which was a butternut squash filled ravioli with a sage and parmesan cheese sauce. I thought it was a bit sweet but she liked it. I had the Linguine Vongole, which came with a housemade pasta that was more like a thick spaghetti noodle as opposed to the typical flat linguine noodle. The bowl was full of clams; found some to be a bit tough and overall I think the sauce could use a ton more lemon flavor! It was good but family had ordered the Nonna's Meatballs and that's where I would go! Something with their incredible marinara sauce because it is the bomb! Such a great balance of tang and sweet and just good flavor. I also want to talk about the bread and dip they serve at the beginning of the meal...oh my gosh! The bread is sliced super thin with a soft inside and that wonderful tuggy outter crust. The dip is a garlic (lots of it!) and olive oil mix that you can spread on the bread...ok, we ate a lot of this! Daughter also ordered the brussels sprouts, which were roasted to perfection and topped with pecans, goat cheese, and a honey Dijon vinaigrette. These were some of the best sprouts I've had! We shared the Spumoni for dessert, which was good and different! There was a layer of cake along with layers of chocolate, pistachio, and vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of the cherry sauce and sprinkle of mini chocolate chips. The dish is good and needs much more of that cherry sauce! Overall a good meal and next time we doing the Club instead...much less fancy and a smaller menu of offerings.

Perfect spot for a last-minute dinner!…read more From the moment we parked and walked in, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and both our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as they noticed we had a child with us, our waiter immediately offered to set up a high chair, which was a thoughtful touch and made us feel well taken care of. When it came time to order drinks, I mentioned I was craving sweet tea. Although it wasn't on the menu, our waiter happily offered to make it for me. That level of hospitality truly stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband was in the mood for Italian food, while I wasn't initially craving it. However, after such excellent service, I decided to give the menu a closer look, and I'm so glad I did! The clam chowder was absolutely delicious without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. It's a must try! Overall, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the staff remained attentive throughout our meal. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! (5/5)

Not sure what this operate was. Called but it had the word tower on it for obvious reasons, everything was perfectly cooked for that item.

I'd heard of this "side" location on the news a few months ago...and today I had a ride down to…read morePismo for dinner. It is a very slow Tuesday evening prefect to give the place a Yelp! I walked right in and sat at the bar, there are about six large high backed booths and a few tables scattered in between. The menu is very simple; sandwiches hot or cold, salads and pizzas, and slices. The bar looks pretty friendly, I wouldn't call it a neighborhood dive but certainly a great "date" spot. Looks like a well stocked deli case with stuff and a few shelves with other goodies for eating. I ordered the Hot Italian Chop Sando $16, basically a heaping of the Italian chop salad on toasted bread. It was good, could do with more of the italian meats dressing flavor was good. I had to check out the deli case to find my desert, looking real pretty was a genuine carrot cake. Three thinish layers with butter cream frosting which was not overpowering sweet. $10 okay that makes the cake worth about $100, meaning it was a thin slice. Both were really just enough, portion control is a new behavior for me... I'll be back for some pizza, maybe bring a date too. Always top quality in their products created and served in their locations, I've never been unhappy. Thanks, Foodguy-martin

Rarely do I walk away from a dining experience where the quality of service and quality of food fight to outshine one another, but this was one of those spots. Our server, a German gentleman, was the consummate professional- always friendly, never overstepping, and added such a warm dimension to our meal. The fried green tomatoes and the white beet appetizers were standouts. I especially loved the vinegary dressing on the greens of the beet dish. For mains, we got the leek olive potato pizza, the ribeye, and the wood fire poached halibut. The avocado chimichurri that accompanied the ribeye was the perfect balance, and the sautéed greens under the fish were savory with the right amount of bite. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. All this for $200 was a better price tag than I was expecting, but most importantly, it got the stamp of approval from my notoriously picky grandmother and uncle. This spot is worth the drive.
