My family and I went there for dinner because it was highly recommended by locals and we love Italian food. We had our two doggies with us so we asked to seat in the patio which was cozy with the heater on. We enjoyed the experience except for the rude blonde girl with a pony tail (I did not ask her name) that received us with a frown and was very hostile, working in this industry is highly unacceptable, she was rude and had a horrible attitude since the beginning, she literally threw the napkins and utensil on the table and did exactly the same with our drinks. I told the other buzz boy, who by the way was a nice and polite young man, that we did not appreciated her attitude and we did not want her to bring anything else to the table. On the flip side, Joe was amazing!! So polite and attentive, treated us great. Food was delicious, we ordered minestrone soup, fried ravioli and garlic bread as appetizers, Pollo Pesto pizza and meatball calzone for main dishes. Everything was excellent. Walked here from our hotel at Pismo beach. It was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Pizza was fresh and delicious but had a bit too much of a thick crust. The antipasto salad was great with artichoke, olives, tomatoes, garbanzo beans. Got it with both Italian and ranch on the side. The complimentary rolls were very fresh and came with a whipped butter. Located in downtown at Price & Wadsworth (right across from Penny's), this spot offers both indoor and outdoor seating, paid & free street parking. After a long day of walking around downtown and hitting the beach, we were craving good pizza and decided to give this place a try. We called in our order for pickup and took it back to our hotel. To start, we ordered the 'house salad' and the 'Meatballs' (2) from the appetizer menu. The meatballs were ridiculously delicious! For our main, we tried the Big Ed's pizza, which comes with meatball, sausage, tomato, onion, and garlic. The flavor was great, and the crust was so soft yet perfectly baked. It was a great choice, though I do wish it had a bit more meatball and sausage toppings, as it felt a little light. Service was good, and our food was ready exactly when promised. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and has a great Italian vibe. We reheated a couple of leftover slices in the air fryer the next day, and they tasted just as good as fresh! Yummy pizza! They were the only place open until 10 pm. We were starving after a long day and suddenly gettng a flat tire parking the car. Luckily we got the spare on there and all set. They have seating inside and outside. We got served right away and got some homemade rolls! So good with whipped butter! We ordered enjoyed a Large pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, and peppers. Pizza was good with tons of toppings and not a super doughy pizza but good. We used to go to Del's when it was located closer to Shell Beach. We were driving by their new location and my wife saw it and said we have to go back. So glad we did. Very casual, feel-good place. Joe waited on us and he is a super nice guy. Felt like family was taking care of you. The wait staff guy was on the ball and really took care of us. My wife and granddaughter had the spaghetti with marinara sauce and they both loved it. My daughter had a pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. It was cooked perfectly. I had the Pesto Mushroom Shrimp Pasta. I elected to get the fettuccini pasta. It was loaded with shrimp and mushrooms. I loved it. They serve pizza dough rolls which are awesome. Wonderfullllll experience here! This is the kind of experience that makes you wish you didn't live hours away. Service, ambiance, and food are all equally great here. Joe is the manager here and served us as well. He came through with awesome hospitality and that's something I really want to highlight in this review. A good manager is sometimes all that's needed to set a place apart from the rest, and just by talking to Joe, you could see how much he cares about guests and the establishment alike. There was a younger guy who also helped with taking our dishes, and he was nice as well. We all mostly got water, but I also wanted some coffee, and they use locally roasted beans, which I love to see. The coffee was really good. As for food, they give complimentary rolls with honey butter. 10/10 no notes. The rolls were as fresh as they could've been and we enjoyed them. We got a large salad to split, and even though I feel like salad can be kind of hard to mess up, I will say this one was very good. I like that the dressing is served on the side. We also ordered two pizzas; the Farmer's Market & Big Ed's. The cheese pull is crazy. The dough is to die for. Everything was perfect. The large windows made the experience here even better, and the decor and ambiance were perfect here. All in all, Del's Pizzeria is the perfect place to come for pizza, whether it's family night, date night, or maybe you just want a solo date on the patio. Prices are great. Came here with my husband for dinner and got seated immediately. The server was super helpful and the service was fast. We got the Shell Beach Road Pizza for an entree and for an appetizer, we got complimentary bread rolls with whipped honey butter. Bread Roll with Whipped Honey Butter - Sooo delicious! The whipped honey butter was not too sweet and so light. The bread roll was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Shell Beach Road - The pizza crust here is probably the best crust I've had. Super chewy and a little on the thicker side. The cheese was super melty and the onions provided so much flavor to the pizza. This is definitely the pizza spot in Pismo Beach. I wasn't even in the mood for pizza but that all changed the second we walked through the door. The aroma of a great Italian pizzeria is undeniable. Now, this isn't "Barstool pizza" this is more knife and fork pizza and it's delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the crust is perfect. Wow delicious!! This pizza parlor is a bit further from the pier but is worth it. It's about 8-10min waking and across from Penny's. I love coming to Del's. I would say I'm a lover of American style pizzas. The authentic Italian pizzas are too fancy for me. Dels pizza checks the right boxes and deliver exactly what I'm craving. Their service is always great even when we have big parties. Sometimes they want our whole party to be seated but that's only on busy nights. The pizzeria is pretty standard. Dels is a family favorite, we have been going for as long as I can remember since it was in Shell Beach and I was a small child. The best thing is always the Rolls a Butter! If eating more than 2-3 was acceptable I would just keep eating them. The service is typically just as well depending on who you get, some you can tell have been doing it for awhile and are not there just for a Job, others just want your order and then give the bare minimum for service but those servers are usually a one off. The ambiance is not as cozy as in SLO but it's in a great location and if it's a nice day you have the option to sit outside. read more

The sauce tasted hollow and I'm not even sure it was cooked all the way through cause I got gut rot minutes later. I guess the salad was edible. The pricing isn't bad our family of five got one large pizza(half cheese, half combo), a family style size Cesar salad, and one beer for about $50-$55. Of course we got the free bread rolls which were good but I've had better. The pizza was good, a little greasy and I personally wasn't a fan of the sauce (a little too sweet). Th inside of the restaurant was nice not super fancy but not just a typical pizza parlor , not super big on the inside. The kids liked that they had a little like pac man type game table (.25 each game) . They did have a nice back patio. Service was ok, our waiter was nice. read more
