Wonderfullllll experience here! This is the kind of experience that makes you wish you didn't live hours away. Service, ambiance, and food are all equally great here. Joe is the manager here and served us as well. He came through with awesome hospitality and that's something I really want to highlight in this review. A good manager is sometimes all that's needed to set a place apart from the rest, and just by talking to Joe, you could see how much he cares about guests and the establishment alike. There was a younger guy who also helped with taking our dishes, and he was nice as well. We all mostly got water, but I also wanted some coffee, and they use locally roasted beans, which I love to see. The coffee was really good. As for food, they give complimentary rolls with honey butter. 10/10 no notes. The rolls were as fresh as they could've been and we enjoyed them. We got a large salad to split, and even though I feel like salad can be kind of hard to mess up, I will say this one was very good. I like that the dressing is served on the side. We also ordered two pizzas; the Farmer's Market & Big Ed's. The cheese pull is crazy. The dough is to die for. Everything was perfect. The large windows made the experience here even better, and the decor and ambiance were perfect here. All in all, Del's Pizzeria is the perfect place to come for pizza, whether it's family night, date night, or maybe you just want a solo date on the patio. Prices are great. If you're in the area and looking at Del's for dinner, please give them a chance. Lovely place & staff.

Came here with my husband for dinner and got seated immediately. The server was super helpful and the service was fast. We got the Shell Beach Road Pizza for an entree and for an appetizer, we got complimentary bread rolls with whipped honey butter. Bread Roll with Whipped Honey Butter - Sooo delicious! The whipped honey butter was not too sweet and so light. The bread roll was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Shell Beach Road - The pizza crust here is probably the best crust I've had. Super chewy and a little on the thicker side. The cheese was super melty and the onions provided so much flavor to the pizza. There was some seasoning on the pizza that made it taste super fresh and aromatic. Overall, this is one of the best pizzas that I have had. I would definitely come back!

When we're in town or driving by the area, we definitely make sure to pop in and eat. As always the food was amazing, hot, and full of flavor. Everyone was so nice and approachable. Our waiter came by throughout our meal, to refresh drinks and see how we were doing. There were packed tables too. Loved the Christmas holiday decorations and the wall decor. There was even an old school table arcade

This is definitely the pizza spot in Pismo Beach. I wasn't even in the mood for pizza but that all changed the second we walked through the door. The aroma of a great Italian pizzeria is undeniable. Now, this isn't "Barstool pizza" this is more knife and fork pizza and it's delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the crust is perfect. We got a Mama Del's deluxe and a pepperoni, a Cesar salad and the house rolls with honey butter. The service was great. They had on a football game so that was fun to watch while we waited. The ambiance is nice, casual pizzeria. A nice Italian restaurant. Definitely a place we would visit again.

We found this place by accident! Great food and service! The restaurant was a little warm but cozy. Make sure you don't try to cheat the parkingmeter - i parked 15 minutes before free time and got a $20 ticket.

Best pizza, customer made

This place is truly amazing, food was amazing and so was the service. We definitely found our new pizza spot when we come to Pismo. Kid friendly and the patio is super cozy. Probably the best pizza we have had and we eat a lot of pizza. Every staff member was super friendly. 10/10

Wow delicious!! This pizza parlor is a bit further from the pier but is worth it. It's about 8-10min waking and across from Penny's. There is another pizza place right down near the pier , but Del's is better and not crowded. Service was very quick. The pizza is so fluffy and cheesy. The wings 10/10 Ambiance , very mellow and quiet. Not so much tourists which is great ahah

Called in an order today for pickup based on the great reviews as well as it being walking distance from our rental house. Very polite and helpful answer to the call. Ordered a large Hawaiian pizza without cheese for my nondairy family members and a large pepperoni and mushroom for the rest of us. Also a family house salad with mixed greens, onions, pepperoncinis, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, olives with Italian and parmesan on the side. Order was ready in 15 min as promised. Welcoming ambience with many tables inside as well as a small patio. Clean bright inviting. Staff are all friendly and professional. Salad and pizza were delicious! The sauce was especially tasty and the crust a perfect thickness. Some of us heated our slices on the stove to add a little toasty crunch!

I love coming to Del's. I would say I'm a lover of American style pizzas. The authentic Italian pizzas are too fancy for me. Dels pizza checks the right boxes and deliver exactly what I'm craving. Their service is always great even when we have big parties. Sometimes they want our whole party to be seated but that's only on busy nights. The pizzeria is pretty standard. Not too fancy but definitely a nice place. The lighting is great and how they serve and present their food is awesome as well. Highly recommended.

Do you need reservations for five?

We ordered the pizza and ravioli. They both arrived to the table cold. The waitress was great. This is a reflection on the cook. I have come here many times and this was the first time our food was cold. Can they do better next time?

I would never eat cold food. If service was that great give it to the waitress to have it redone .

5 star all day! great atmosphere…read more service was top notch. food was fresh and super delish. highly recommend!!

While staying in Pismo with family, they wanted to take us to their favorite Italian restaurant and…read morewe chose to have dinner in the Cucina...they have another location right next door, which isn't as "fancy" as their sit down place. Tables covered with white linen as well as linen napkins, stepping up the ambiance. Our server, Maricella, was great, friendly, and very attentive. We started with their Caesar salad, which is made with fresh, largely torn romaine lettuce and covered with both grated and shaved parmesan cheese. There were a few crutons scattered and we opted to add anchovies to our salad. I also asked for extra dressing because typically salads don't come with much and I'm a dressing gal! Ok, so the salad itself was great and fresh and the anchovies were good and not greasy or fishy tasting. The dressing was an issue and I really didn't care for it. Wife said it was "ok" but we've had way better dressing elsewhere. She chose the Ravioli di Zucca, which was a butternut squash filled ravioli with a sage and parmesan cheese sauce. I thought it was a bit sweet but she liked it. I had the Linguine Vongole, which came with a housemade pasta that was more like a thick spaghetti noodle as opposed to the typical flat linguine noodle. The bowl was full of clams; found some to be a bit tough and overall I think the sauce could use a ton more lemon flavor! It was good but family had ordered the Nonna's Meatballs and that's where I would go! Something with their incredible marinara sauce because it is the bomb! Such a great balance of tang and sweet and just good flavor. I also want to talk about the bread and dip they serve at the beginning of the meal...oh my gosh! The bread is sliced super thin with a soft inside and that wonderful tuggy outter crust. The dip is a garlic (lots of it!) and olive oil mix that you can spread on the bread...ok, we ate a lot of this! Daughter also ordered the brussels sprouts, which were roasted to perfection and topped with pecans, goat cheese, and a honey Dijon vinaigrette. These were some of the best sprouts I've had! We shared the Spumoni for dessert, which was good and different! There was a layer of cake along with layers of chocolate, pistachio, and vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of the cherry sauce and sprinkle of mini chocolate chips. The dish is good and needs much more of that cherry sauce! Overall a good meal and next time we doing the Club instead...much less fancy and a smaller menu of offerings.

Perfect spot for a last-minute dinner!…read more From the moment we parked and walked in, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and both our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as they noticed we had a child with us, our waiter immediately offered to set up a high chair, which was a thoughtful touch and made us feel well taken care of. When it came time to order drinks, I mentioned I was craving sweet tea. Although it wasn't on the menu, our waiter happily offered to make it for me. That level of hospitality truly stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband was in the mood for Italian food, while I wasn't initially craving it. However, after such excellent service, I decided to give the menu a closer look, and I'm so glad I did! The clam chowder was absolutely delicious without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. It's a must try! Overall, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the staff remained attentive throughout our meal. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! (5/5)

I walked right in and sat at the bar, there are about six large high backed booths and a few tables scattered in between. The menu is very simple; sandwiches hot or cold, salads and pizzas, and slices. The bar looks pretty friendly, I wouldn't call it a neighborhood dive but certainly a great "date" spot. Looks like a well stocked deli case with stuff and a few shelves with other goodies for eating. I ordered the Hot Italian Chop Sando $16, basically a heaping of the Italian chop salad on toasted bread. It was good, could do with more of the italian meats dressing flavor was good. I had to check out the deli case to find my desert, looking real pretty was a genuine carrot cake. Three thinish layers with butter cream frosting which was not overpowering sweet. $10 okay that makes the cake worth about $100, meaning it was a thin slice. Both were really just enough, portion control is a new behavior for me... I'll be back for some pizza, maybe bring a date too. Always top quality in their products created and served in their locations, I've never been unhappy. Thanks, Foodguy-martin

Rarely do I walk away from a dining experience where the quality of service and quality of food fight to outshine one another, but this was one of those spots. The fried green tomatoes and the white beet appetizers were standouts. I especially loved the vinegary dressing on the greens of the beet dish. For mains, we got the leek olive potato pizza, the ribeye, and the wood fire poached halibut. The avocado chimichurri that accompanied the ribeye was the perfect balance, and the sautéed greens under the fish were savory with the right amount of bite. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. All this for $200 was a better price tag than I was expecting, but most importantly, it got the stamp of approval from my notoriously picky grandmother and uncle. This spot is worth the drive.

Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. We had a reservation for a birthday dinner and arrived about 30 minutes early. We were told we'd be seated closer to our reservation time, which was completely understandable. However, as we waited, we watched several groups (including walk-ins without reservations) get seated before us. Even after our reservation time had passed, we had to check in with the host again before we were finally seated, despite there being plenty of empty tables. The service at the front definitely could have been handled better. The food, on the other hand, was very good with a great variety of options. I loved that they start you off with freshly made tortillas, cinnamon butter, and salsa to share. I ordered the Campechana de Mariscos, which was fresh, generously portioned, and perfect for sharing. We also had the Molcajete, and it was delicious! It came with a great mix of steak, chicken, chorizo, jumbo shrimp, nopal, and cheese. The portion was generous and easily enough for two people. Other dishes we ordered also included the pozole, chicken nachos, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious as well! The mac and cheese especially. For drinks, I tried the Golden Hour nonalcoholic cocktail, and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. It tasted like watered-down ginger beer with no carbonation and only the faintest hint of pineapple. It was more on the bitter taste. Overall, this is a great restaurant for the ocean views and flavorful food. The portions are generous, and there's something for everyone on the menu. The only downside was the host service and the unnecessary wait despite having a reservation. I'd still come back for the food and the scenery.
