I used to enjoy Jimmy John's. They really were freaky fast. They had freebies including Dijon mustard. In the last couple of years, I've noticed a decline in quality of the sandwiches. They don't post the freebies on the board anymore, so you have to ask and ask for them. Dijon used to be free, then other stores started charging ten cents for a packet of Dijon, to this store not even having it anymore. Overall, sandwich was mediocre. Really disappointed with the direction the company as a whole is heading. I don't think it's just this store. Feels like direction from the top as noticed at other stores as well. read more

Small update on my previous review of the Cubano. 2 days later, when I got home, I nuked the sandwich for 1 minute and added a little yellow mustard to the mayo. What a difference! It tastes much better. Value-wise, compared to the #7, it still doesn't add up. But, at least, it tasted fairly good. read more

Stopped 10 min before closing and staff refused to take the order of our 3 young boys who just finished soccer camp, but took the young girl's order who walked in just before us. Went to subway afterwards (also closing at 9:00) and had wonderful service from friendly staff. read more

2nd Time ordering from this location for pickup using the app. 2nd Time the order was not received as ordered. Apparently staff has a reading issue because it's clearly stated on my order history and the receipt in the bag what I ordered. Sandwich ingredients and bread tasted good and fresh but would have been better if I got what I ordered. Not only were some of the customized ingredients missing but even lettuce which is standard for the sandwich was missing. I'll probably try it again but if it happens a 3rd time I'm done with this location. I generally add a tip on my carry out orders but I am beginning to wish there was to adjust the tip after you get home and find out you didn't get what you paid for. I shouldn't have to open the packages at the storefront to make sure it's correct and I shouldn't have to go back. read more

Tried to use online ordering, it was unavailable due to being short staffed. Called to make order, no delivery available... so we had to go pick it up, not a huge deal... drove 15 mins each way to pick it up, sent my son and of course he didn't check the box.... his sandwich wasn't in the box. Called to see if we could just get a refund, was told he was to busy and he could just remake it, argued with him over the phone about the word "remake" and his piss poor attitude. Got all the other sandwiches opened up, 5 in total, Only one was correct. Also what's the point of giving my phone number for rewards if you don't even apply them to the account.... I feel really bad for all these companies that are getting ready to have to pay these employees $15/hr... half these people can't even get a order correct let alone deserve double their hourly pay. The Jimmy John's store located at 4741 S Scatterfield Rd, Anderson, IN 46013 has not offered delivery for over two months now, and their service is exceptionally slow. Even before this problem they had a driver that smoked cigarettes and the food would taste like smoke, and often would leave my stomach sick after taking over an hour to be delivered. They often would forget part of my meal like the chips or drink, or would send the wrong sandwich. I have been a Jimmy Johns customer for years and in other towns, it is my favorite sandwich spot, this is unusal. It seems like a management problem as when I call about a wrong or very late order, they are always claiming they are short staffed and cannot hire people because of the covid-relief unemployment (but all of the other restaurants in our area are staffed and functioning well). My coworkers and I hope that this store will see significant improvements soon, as we would really like to give them our daily business like we used to, but are uncomfortable and often unable to at this point. read more

A sandwich is a sandwich, right? But when you pay for a $10 sandwich there has got to be something special about it. The bread. The cheese. The fixin's. Something. JJ's, you failed the course in making a special sandwich. Shredded iceberg lettuce should be banned. The white bread baguette can go back to the baker. No way to melt cheese, toast bread or make a hot sandwich? F in my book. But when you didn't have any lemons or even lemon packets for tea, I just about sent everything back for a refund. Rudest employees ever. You walk up to the counter and try just stare at you. No greeting, no hello... just awkward staring.

They're almost always on their phone when you walk in. Being experienced in the food service industry it worries me slightly that they are, there is always something to be cleaned, prepped, etc... other than that - the food is usually good quality compared to price, the dining area and restrooms are almost always clean (to the eye), and the employees are usually upbeat and pleasant. read more

This Jimmy John's for some reason won't deliver to my neighborhood, even though it's only about 3.5 miles away. Since the JJ in all my previous towns have a radius of 5 miles, this seemed arbitrary. I travel for work and eat at a jimmy johns at least 4 times a month. This was the worst one I have been too. Music was too loud or I am getting more hard of hearing but I could barely understand the guy taking my order. I ordered a slim. Was not asked if I wanted stuff on it or not. Bread was hard. Like over cooked hard. 2 other customers who got take out came back and complained about the bread. While I know it is 2015. Staff behind the counter need to dress more appropriately. Jeans hanging below your cheeks and your boxers showing is not appealing to me. Then what really got me, kid scratched his backside with no gloves on and started to prepare a sandwich.
