Prime Rib was tough and hard to chew! Loaded Baked Potato was so cold the cheese would not melt and it was hard. Server did not bring steak knives with our three orders of Prime Rib and returned with knives and threw them in the center of the table like she was pissed off we asked for them. Frankly the Prime Rib was so tough it was not eatable. Gave us a complementary dessert that was obviously not made in house because it was excellent. They discounted our meal 50% for the tough as shoe leather prime rib. Salmon was good. I am not sure we will be back unless it's for a sandwich and a round of golf next season. Went to 1925 PubHouse in Anderson and Grandview Golf Course for lunch after a round of golf with Husband and gal pal yesterday, Tuesday June 20th. Was 1:00pm. We sat on Patio. Was not busy. We ordered the chicken wraps and beer. We needed an additional setup and told the waitress upfront it was needed. The meal came with chips but husband wanted slaw. We got the meal fairly quickly but we didn't get the slaw. Told her, the waitress as soon as plate was served. Also reminded her of needing silverware setup. We started eating and the waitress NEVER came back. We ended up getting a second beer from another waitress, well actually friend got up and went and fetched another waitress from inside (which also was not real busy inside). We really enjoyed the wrap. It was tasty. Ralph my husband finally got up to complain about not getting his slaw and the silverware. It was brought after the meal from the original waitress who was sullen and nasty. I left that girl $13 on a $61 dollar meal. She totally did not deserve a tip and all. I'd say, stay away from 1925 PubHouse for lunches. Either establishment doesn't cover for a busy lunch crowd or waitresses just don't care. Either way, we'll go elsewhere to enjoy lunch read more

We have been here twice now. Both time the pretzels were out of this world. Perfectly crispy outside, soft and warm inside, they pull apart perfectly and have plenty of salt. The beer cheese is perfect for dunking and thick enough to stay on the pretzel. The breaded tenderloin is also great. The burgers were fine, but definitely not the star of the meal. While in Anderson for a concert, we discovered 1925 PubHouse on Yelp! After reading several positive reviews and browsing the photos, my wife and I decided to check it out. We were greeted upon arriving and seated without a wait. Our server was friendly and pleasant and did an excellent job. We enjoyed the comfortable environment, and the views of the golf course were beautiful. Our food came out fast, and everything was cooked perfectly. For an appetizer we ordered the Fire Cracker Shrimp (Hand Breaded White Shrimp Tossed in Creamy Thai Chili Sauce, and Scallions) - The sauce was delicious and added a nice kick to the shrimp! For our entrees, my wife ordered the Fried Tenderloin; and I went with the Smash Burger - both were delicious and full of flavor! While in the Community Hospital ER with my 10yr old, I looked up a local place to go eat. His Dad & I were allowed to swap out, but we weren't allowed to be in the room at the same time with him. So for my 90 minutes "off" I headed to this 1925 PubHouse. The bartender was fantastic. He recommended this ribeye pictured and it absolutely did not disappoint! I had the loaded backed potato and Caesar salad as well. I was such a great ex, I cut up the rest of the steak I couldn't eat and took it back to his Dad in the ER. We had dinner at the pub House after spending the day at the state parks. We were so ready for dinner at this point. I'm so glad we chose this from the Indiana Culinary Trail. The staff we awesome, the environment was welcoming and the food was delicious. We shared pretzels and cheese beer to start. It was popping out and yummy. I had the Pub House Melt with onion rings. The onion rings were perfect. The patty melt was very good. The hamburger was perfect, the toasted buttery bread was great. I wasn't too sure about the sauce but it was good. My cousin had the Tenderloin sandwich which she said was really good. Nothing could have been better so definitely worth the 5 stars. read more

A friend and I went here for lunch yesterday, and to watch the Ohio State game. They accommodated us by sitting us directly by the TV in the bar, and turning on the game. Between us we ordered two appetizers (mozzarella sticks and loaded potato skins), a tenderloin and fries, and a 12 inch pizza. The appetizers were standard fare. The tenderloin is probably one of the best I've ever eaten, and the fries accompanying it were excellent, as well. The thin crust pizza is top notch! I can't say enough about the crust, absolutely perfect! There is also an excellent bar selection, and the location is lovely. I can't wait to go back during warmer weather to dine on the patio. My family and I went to eat here while I was visiting from out of town. The food and service was outstanding. The portion sizes are generous, and it's obvious the owners and chefs care about the food they serve and their customers. A nice woman came by to check on us and asked how our food was and how our server was with us.
