They give you a number placard, which you take to the table, and then they deliver the food. The server was pleasant and helpful. It was cold and windy outside, and unfortunately it wasn't much warmer inside. We went to find a table somewhere warm and not made colder by the doors that led directly outside, since there is no vestibule. No luck, the place was just cold. Good thing I had my knit hat. After a short while, we got our two salads. I got the Empire Pecan Salad, and my partner got the Southwest Chicken Salad. They looked great. Plenty of mixed ingredients, good portions, and everything was fresh. Much of the time when you get a good salad, it's only the top layer and everything below is lettuce. These salads were full of tasty stuff all the way to the bottom. Might be one of the best salads I have had in this class of restaurants. So our visit was mixed. The food was very good, but it was so cold inside that it made things uncomfortable. Even though we were away from the front door, there is a side door that people kept exiting from, and the cold air just blew right through the place.
