Ordered 3 beefs,1 Chicago dog and a large fry. The food was terrible so I called once I got home. Ì have been going here for 11 years for the passed couple of years the food has been getting worse. Thus time I decided to call, I talked to the manager Jose. He told me to call back the next morning he lead me to believe that I was going to be taken care of, the joke was on me I called the next morning I talked to a female that said she was a manager offered me 10 % off my next meal and a free fry . After my beefs were dry and ĺike eating cardboard. The hotdogs was so òver salted with celery salt plus the dog was old. A cool place in a great location that offers a wide variety of hot dog creations. While I did enjoy my Texas dog that is essentially a chili cheese dog and added onions, the bun was a bit over steamed which made it very mushy. Overall it was a nice treat and next time I will try a different dog! read more

I loved the food. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Great atmosphere. However, a local "Ken" nearly ruined it. The whole place was empty and he chose to sit with his chair right next to the kids game machine. My nephews and niece were playing it after they ate. They were not being bad or loud. Just laughing like kids too. He screamed at them to shut up and that they were ruining his lunch. Even went as far to put his finger near my nephew's face. I got mad and told him to calm down. He kept grumping and then even did a nah nah nah dance. He was like a 60 yr old man. What the hell is wrong with this guy. He kept coming back to argue. I admit a little swear word might have came out of my mouth but that's it. We were not egging him on. So beware cause he says he a local. Let me begin by saying when I am in the dells this is my spot for Italian beef. I love the service and how quick I can get a decent Italian beef away from Chicagoland area. My only gripe is that the cost and portion does not match. They got skimpy on the fries and the amount of beef in the sandwiches. The cost is like $15 but the price point does not match what you get. I remember they used to give u like a bag of fries and there was beef in the sandwiches not so much any more. Not sure if it was this visit or that's how it is now comparing to what I can in Chicago for the same price. I still like the place though. It's a nice and quiet spot with AC in the summers where you can enjoy your food. read more

I've been to places like this at home in Chicago and this is as good as it gets. Cool decor, enough tables and chairs etc. The menu is just what it needs to be. A great variety of of hot dogs, then some Italian beef, polish, and burgers. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. Wife had a Chicago dog meal, I had a regular dog meal, had did my kid, and my other kid had tenders and fries. The fries were not over salted but were done perfectly. Crispy but not crunchy and dry not greasy. They use Vienna beef so the taste was excellent. My son loved his tenders and scarfed them up. This is a place you can go to multiple times and I'm positive it will be consistently fast and delicious. Highly recommended! read more

Came in last night for dinner with my grandfather before closing time. Got a burger which had mushrooms, bacon and jalapeños with a side of fries and soda. Second, I'm from Chicago and am very particular about what people call Chicago pizza and Chicago hotdogs. I must say, this place is legit. The Chicago dog was perfect - all the right toppings (onions, sliced tomatoes, hot peppers, perfect dill pickle slice) and mustard. Only mustard. Plus the steamed poppyseed bun! The sausage and Italian beef combo was also perfect. I also really appreciated the Wisconsin touch - deep fried cheese curds. The only thing I wish is that they had Coke products instead of Pepsi. We ordered the Italian Beef which was very good. We ordered it dipped but it came out wet. I brought it to the attention of the restaurant and the fixed the problem immediately. I had a Chicago dog. This is a cool looking building, smack dab in the middle of the main strip in Wisconsin Dells. Can't miss it as you drive by Noah's Ark waterpark. Inside, its got typical hot dog stand decor. It's also pretty clean. We grabbed lunch here on a Saturday (in the Winter). There were several other people coming and going and the drive-thru appeared to be non-stop while we were there. We ordered our food at the counter and the cashier was friendly and helpful. Then we waited what felt like a long time for our food. We got hot dogs, fries, mozzarella sticks, and soup....nothing special. When the food arrived, my wife tried a new mexico dog (chili and jalapenos) and I had the georgia dog (bbq sauce and cole slaw). Neither were great, in fact, I think that they should stick to chicago dogs, instead of the different creations. I'd have probably liked my hot dog better plain or with just ketchup and mustard. Something just wasn't working with all the different ingrediants. Their fries were pretty good for a hot dog stand. I've found that most hot dog stands tend to go with the tiny shoestring fries, not this one! They had plump crispy, golden fries. I tried mine with chili and cheese and the family shared a regular order. Also, no complaints on the mozzarella sticks. Altogether a neat little place, just didnt dig the hot dogs that much. I'd probably pass this place up for one of the hundreds of other food options in the Dells my next time here. read more

Visited Aug. 14th at 130pm. Not busy, but business was picking up at 2pm when we were leaving. Very, very good food. One of the best Gyros I've had in a long time. Chicken tenders and fries were above average. Family of 5 and our bill was $45. I'd say this was the best dining experience we had in the Dells, honestly. Good place with better than average food. Seven in our party. Ordered Chicago dogs, cheeseburgers, gyros and fries with all orders. Chicago dogs were perfect - all the fixins, great Vienna beef dog and poppy seed bun. Cheeseburgers were a good size and cooked perfectly. Gyro was a little bit of a disappointment. Serving size was good, but pita bread was not warmed or crusty, and gyro meat had been cut from large bulk spindle earlier in the day. It was not juicy and definitely did not look like it was cut fresh from spindle. Sauce was fine but next time would order it on the side. Fries were another concern. Serving was adequate but fries needed to be cooked more or at a hotter temperature. They were warm but kind of soggy. One last comment ... presentation of the food could be improved. Investing in some plastic baskets for "meal deals" would enhance the presentation. Having everything rolled up in paper on a tray is not very appealing. Overall, we enjoyed our meal but there are several opportunities to create a fantastic experience with a few minor changes. read more
