Great in-store experience, a disappointment experience trying to order my sandwich online for pickup - before deciding to come to this location I went online to try and place my order versus eating inside. The website is meh but I was able to get my food into the cart so I figured the hard part was over and I'd simply enter my credit card info (number, expiration date and security code, zip code) nope another screen popped with a host of required information that I needed to enter before my order would be processed (full name, home address, city, state, zip code, email address, etc.) this is ridiculous since I was picking up so I cancelled and decided to drive. I found a parking spot right up front, walked in and found a mostly empty restaurant (at lunchtime?). The store was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and plenty of them for the few customers and considering they don't have a drive-thru, I placed my order and the staff tagged-teamed it to get my sandwich made freaky fast - it was ready almost before I could pay, grab my chips and fountain drink and it was exactly as I ordered. I also realized that my in-house order for the exact same sandwich, chips and drink was over $3.00 cheaper than what the cost was when I attempted to order it online for pickup, I change my opinion of their online ordering "it's crap". My #9 sandwich / sub was very good, so fresh and assembled with care by the extremely polite staff and they have great chewable ice a big plus for me - the in-house experience was great so I will give this location the benefit despite their corporate's online failure... read more

Customer service was excellent! One of the new toasted subs was recommended. All I can say is delicious. The bread was soft and hot. The pulled roasted chicken was moist. Along with the fresh toppings. I also had a cold ice tea to wash it down. I'll be stopping by again really soon! read more

My 1st time at Jimmy John's today. My friend and I decided to try something different. Wow! Jimmy John's is awesome. We both got the gigantic roast beef sub. 16". We both had part of a sandwich left over for snacking later. The sub was packed with lean, real roast beef and cheese. All of the veggies were fresh and delicious. Sorry Subway. my go-to sandwich stop in the area! service is super quick and the staff is so nice. their roast beef sandwich with mayo, lettuce, and tomato on french bread (#2 Big John) is so good and fresh. their tuna sandwich with mayo, cucumber, and tomato on french bread (#3 Totally Tom) is another great one. they also have a variety of chips and Coke products. there's indoor seating but no outdoor seating. i've also worked with them for catering orders and had a good experience every time! read more

This place was real good, clean, and a good hang out spot at one point. Unfortunately COVID hit them hard, they've been understaffed for more than a year now. I always come and see 2 people manning the entire place, it's a lot of work. I don't know how much business they get either but when I've gone I've been the only one. They are doing their best with limited staff. Three out four times I had no issues. Ran into a worker one evening who wasn't happy I asked for my wrap dressing on the side in a cup. I work not far and order every once in awhile for lunch. Multiple times they are missing add ones that were paid for. Rarely customize your sandwich correctly. Today ordered a billy club and only got 2 slices of roast beef. It's not rocket science. Good sub, over priced and only have really hard chips for a side. No fries or anything to choose from, just basic subs. Only take a minute to get you food if your in a rush that's a plus. My biggest thing that makes me hate this location is they have one window seat so you can look out side and enjoy eating your food, however it's always taken by employees personal items stacked on it for storage or when they want to take a break. read more

I've ordered J.J's about a dozen times since recently moving here. So far I have had zero issues with any sandwich. I'm sure they forget avocado spread or extra sprouts from time to time but the food is quality. The longest I have ever had to wait is like 12 minutes and 18 seconds or something. I live in Deland and wanted to give there so called " freaky fast delivery " a try . Well I only live 1.2 miles away from the new location here in Deland and they said that my house is too far away for delivery !!! How can this even be possible ! I can have every other restaurant in town deliver to my house and the ONE place that makes their delivery service the main selling point of their restaurant, WON'T Drive 1.2 miles ! ! This Jimmy Johns store hasn't been open for very long and we order from there at least once a week since it opened, sometimes twice....we love Jimmy Johns but this store sucks. 3 times now they get our order wrong...and this is the last time because every time I call to get it fixed the female manager they have working is so rude I don't even want to deal with her or this store anymore.
