All in all, I had an alright experience. I expected a little bit more considering how talked about they are. Like for instance, when they talked about their stuffed French toast and having raspberries on top of it, I thought that there was gonna be real raspberries, not raspberry jam. We had breakfast delivered through Door dash here in Deltona and it arrived still hot so back to the driver but mostly to Keke's for how the food was packaged. We were over the moon it was still hot. We were super surprised that the cups of butter sent were soft and easily spreadable unlike other places that send cold, hard butter scoops that aren't going anywhere. The fruit on the Florida pancakes was fresh and not ice cold so it didn't ruin the dish. The pancakes were HUGE!!!!! and there were 3. My partner put 1/2 in the fridge for later. I have no idea why I was in a French toast mood because generally speaking, I hate it cause it's always soggy unless I make it LOL. I couldn't be happier that I chose this. There was no soggy about it. The flavor was perfect. The apples weren't overly sweet and still had a bit of a snap. The pancakes literally go to the edge of the plate! We came here a few times with our family and there was something for everyone. Our kids shared one order of the adult pancakes, I loved the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, and my husband loved the açaí bowl. The hosts are so friendly, and we love that they gave our kids wiki stix to keep them busy. We were visiting from South Florida stopped at Keke for breakfast since we love our location down here. It seems they must have been short staffed the early shift waitress running everywhere. Once we received our breakfast. It was cold. I didn't say anything at the times since I'm very cautious when I complain about my meals. The waitress seems overwhelmed. She tried her best. With my wife This was the worst experience I've ever had to wait 10 minutes on the counter to be seated, even though there was only three people in the restaurant when I ask the girl that was seating people got offended and says come with me really nasty set me down through the menu you met me. Let me know when you're ready. OK order my food did not see her again until she came around and threw the bill at me physically just threw it on the table. didn't say a word so I went ahead and paid the bill even gave her 25% tip more than a normal 22% tip not one would've thank you come back or anything. This is the worst experience that I've ever had at Keke's or any other restaurants. My first visit to any Keke's location so my expectations were pretty high and my hopes were that I'd find a new place in Deland to grab a meal. The restaurant itself is very nice and there's plenty of parking. The interior was clean and the hostess was able to seat me without a wait. I was greeted by a server while I reviewed the menu she was very pleasant and friendly but really struggle to communicate in English and after repeating myself several times I felt she got it and returned with my drink and it was correct. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad (grilled chicken breast pieces on romaine with parmesan cheese, croutons and Caesar dressing) - it took longer than I expected but it was very good although the portion leaves a little to be desired (the salad in the photo appears to be much larger than the actual). My original server was replaced after bringing my drink maybe she was actually just helping the server that had my section but I will say the service improved instantly. My new server was very attentive ensuring everything was to my liking and replaced my nearly emptied drink before I started sucking ice. My experience here was pleasant and although the menu is simple it looks like there's something for everyone although like I mentioned before the portions are on the smaller side so if you're really really hungry expect your bill to reflect it, maybe I should of ordered double chicken - I could see myself returning in the future especially since I now know what I know now... read more
