It was obvious that she had a lot of regular customers by the way she interacted with other patrons, while ignoring us. On 8-4-2025, I went to have lunch with friend and her 2 children. The server Lisa S. was very unfriendly from beginning with being impatient getting our drink order. Once she finally brought drinks she was less than helpful in ordering. She brought our food and just dropped each plate in front of us, laying ketchup on side and syrup to side. Never once did she come back to table to see how our food was or if we wanted anything else. She came dropped bill on table and left. Our arrival was 11:40am and departure 12:20 pm. I couldn't stay to talk with manager as I had knee surgery and needed to go home. I did call once home. I had not eaten at this location before and truly won't again. There is a very tight booth near the kitchen entrance. My group and I were seated there and I stood to walk out when we were "allowed" to choose another booth. I was some what embarrassed even though all the other booths were more than big enough until I saw him seat a couple in the tight booth. They got up and left the restaurant. Tables and booths were empty but the manager persisted in filling this booth. Why? He made me feel fat. Not what you're going for when you're selling food. Strange. Perkins is a good breakfast spot. The food is pretty decent. The servers are great, but they are stretched far too thin. They often have only one server before 9 am to cover the entire restaurant. They're doing the best they can, but our group often waits longer than 20 minutes to have our order taken. After delivering our order, if any further service is wanted you can just keep wanting. They just don't have enough help to serve their customers efficiently. I'm pretty sure this staffing issue is due to a directive from the corporate level rather than the manager on site, who tries to help while also hosting and managing the kitchen. read more

We have eaten here many times, morning and evening and tonight was by far the worse experience. Server was on the floor, alone, after only working there 5 days. She tried hard to do it all but our order got messed up and was not hot when it arrived. It took a long time to get our check. Everyone was unfamiliar to us so perhaps they had a big employee change over, but it will be a long time before we go there again. After sitting with our menus closed for quite some time we had to let another waitress know that we would like to place our order(no drinks yet). Our waitress took our order after making up some excuses. Our drinks were finally delivered to our table(not what we ordered). The food arrived, 3 out of 4 items on one order were not correct. I had the one egg, scrambled, meat choice, bacon, side choice, breakfast potatoes, bread choice, pancakes. Everything was good, the pancakes were heavenly. Why are their pancakes so much better? It's not just the warm syrup, but that is a sweet touch. He had the breakfast platter, eggs, meats, side and two sausage biscuits. I usually take pictures but for some reason we were all excited to see each other so sorry for that I am a big time eggs Benedict fan so of course that is what I ordered. I dont really care for the ham on eggs Benedict so I always order mine with bacon. The eggs were nice and runny the bacon crisp and the English muffin was really good. I'm super picky about my English muffin and only eat Thomas 's English muffins. They were not Thomas and I dont know what brand they were but way better and toasted perfect. There were 6 of us. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and our service was excellent.
