I didn't respond immediately bc I was trying to sort out which sub to get now that I know I can't have a fresh Philly. Ended up with a meatball sub and I ate it all mainly bc I was super hungry. Yet I was disappointed in my second purchase. It looks like a lot of items are precooked and then needs to be put into the microwave I ended up disassembling my sandwich, removed A LOT of soggy bread (the juice from the meatballs had caused soggy bread in the amount of time that I paid and was handed my sandwich to sit down at a booth and eat). That's less than 3 minutes. I had to add a napkin to my food in order to soak up the watery mess. Idk maybe I expect too much...but I don't believe I will return. I went for a second time after reading all the positive reviews again. But I was still disappointed. In my opinion, a hot sub should come with a toasted hoagie. Instead I was given a half soggy/watery mess of a meatball sub. BUT both times I've been given great service and welcomed/thanked for stopping by.

You run into displays of soda and chips as you walk in the door. You often have to go through all the processed foods before reaching the produce. Second, the plastic bags are overkill!!! I usually bring my own bags (wish more people did). They find every excuse to take something in its own plastic package and then wrap it up in plastic bags before placing in reusable bags. This drives me crazy! I usually offer higher tips if no plastic bags are used. I know the baggers wages are the tips and they depend on them. Wish the person who trains the baggers would ease up on the plastic bags.

I opened the brown bag that had my Bratz in it, it was a complete disaster none of the bratz we're wrapped in either a napkin or foil, so I ended up with a brown bag full of slop. I called the shop, explained what happened and they said they would have to have the owner call me, I then looked at my receipt and saw I was charged for four rolls, and full price for the advent calendar, now I am irritated, so I went down to the establishment immediately. I went to the Registor introduced myself and told them I would just like to refund all my items. One associate felt it needed to be not taken seriously and laughed. The other one that was at the Registor said she couldn't do it because it's food and they can't take food back, she would not even look in the bag of slop. I explained have you never had an order that was not made properly, send a steak back or a burger back and have the right item returned back to you? How would you like to have 3 6inch long subway sandwiches, unwrapped, and thrown into a paper bag, no response. I informed them that the advent calendar could no way be close to nine dollars if I'm being charged $3.75. After this going on for a few minutes, I told them I would want my refund or I was calling the police. In the meantime they called their owner and was telling her a completely different story and the owner called the police - to be exact 911, after the second time of being asked to exit their establishment, I did while I was on hold for non-emergency police assistance. Approximately 15 minutes 3 police vehicles, arrived, asking me if I was the one harassing the employees at the Alpenrose. One officer said is it really worth $30? I did not say it but thought-Yes it is. Some people have only $30 to spend a week for food so it's not the money is the idea that they can overcharge and steal from you you without repercussion. Alpenrose had me. Trespassed after the incident, in which I absolutely have no problem with because there's no way you could pay me to go back into that place!!!!!! After speaking with the police I went back to my car which my daughter was driving. I told her before I got in that we are not allowed back inside establishment but we will be back to pick it. Before we could even get into the car an associate came out of the establishment and told me to leave the parking lot, I informed her I have every right to be part here I just can't go inside her establishment she proceeded to go back to the police and complain. As I stated before for another review I have been in retail/customer service only three jobs for in 30 straight years. I received the food and look into the bag . I see the 2 burgers but I noticed I had received curly fries instead of crinkle fries. I go back through the line to ask about the fries and I was told "The crinkle fries are just for advertisement" I was lied too and deceived. I exited the line because the employee already looked like they didn't want to be their, so I couldn't trust to ask for some new fries because I wouldn't feel comfortable that the new fries weren't tampered with. I am upset with my visit to Arby's today and it has completely ruined my meal.
