Ready for a great Chicken Filet sandwich and waffle fries? I always look to a Chick Fil-A when traveling. This is one of last days of the Peach milkshake season. I had to order it. Delicious. Chunks of peach prove it is fresh. This Chick-fil-A in Colorado Springs at North Carefree is always crowded but with the staff being so proficient , professional, friendly and attentive, service is fast and comforting. I watched the drive through move along with at least two people on the curb taking orders. The ambiance is clean, bright and cheery. Everyone who I came in contact with came with a smile and a friendly greeting and offer to refil drinks of bring sauces, etc. I will definitely return here! We eat here quite often and there are usually no issues. We also get delivery from this location as well. We almost always get a milkshake to share so I feel pretty good about what the usually milkshake experience is like at this location. Imagine my surprise when we get our delivery order today and our $6.00 cookies n cream milkshake is in literally the smallest cup they have. I thought my hubby must've gotten the actual milkshake and this was the "extra." But no, this $6.00 half melted, tiny, actual kiddie size milkshake is the "size they serve." Their staff person told me they "went to this size a year ago" and they do not add whipped cream and a cherry on delivery orders because of "sanitary reasons." I'm not sure how whipped cream and cherries on a milkshake are unsanitary but who knows what they're gettin' up to at CFA these days. After saying a short prayer, I informed her that this was not and had not been our experience until today. We just ordered one in July and it came in a medium size cup with the whip and a cherry. This was our second time time to visit and once again left unsatisfied. The first we went through the line we placed our order. I ordered a southwest chicken salad but with unspectacular bread chicken. I'm allergic to spicy. Got our order through the widow and looked at my salad to make sure the chicken wasn't. I didn't open the container but told the guy in the window that the chicken looked spicy. He responded with, " no it's not I checked it." We pulled over in the chase parking lot to check it because I was pretty sure it was spicy and load and behold it's spicy. I went in and they corrected it but was disappointed in the fact that I said something and instead of checking it before I drove away you just told me what I wanted to hear. It's now 3 weeks later and we decide to try again. Go through and place our order. I asked for them to make sure to put an avocado ranch as well. Get to the window, get our order and look in the bag and no avocado ranch. We are traveling across country pulling a travel trailer, and this location close to Costco Gas had ample parking as it is on the perimeter of a power shopping center. I was even able to walk across the lot to Target for much needed supplies. The food is always fresh, and for a place that is busy 24/6 (closed Sundays) that's impressive. The decor is standard, but they do put out fresh flowers out every day. I love Chick-Fil-A. There, I said it. I went without it for 3 years while in LA (sure, it was at Del Amo mall but who goes there?) and am glad to be near them again. This is one of the few fast food places I will frequent but I felt this one deserves a shout-out. For those who have never been here, they have all chicken products, waffle fries and a bunch of typical fast food stuff. No burgers here! The new spicy chicken sandwich is delicious with enough spice to let you know it is there but definitely not "hot" by most standards. Check out the original or the charbroiled sandwich (if you are watching your calories) - Both are great! They do breakfast too but I've never ventured out here for that (I much prefer diners or bakeries for breakfast!). I used to love this place. The food was delivered on time and in a professional manner - but it only takes one experience to put a poor taste in your mouth. I had previously ordered online via their buggy app that would crash at the slightest provocation or fail to save my order just as soon as I would go to another app. Upon arriving I was forced to wait an obscene 20 minutes for my food to arrive! After leaving and arriving at work (late I might add, and I was unable to enjoy my meal at my lesiure) I discovered a few shocking things about my order. First was that my sandwich was broken, the meat broken literally in half within the bun - the poorest patty they could spare at the time I'm sure, just something to get me out the door and out of their hair. Did I forget to mention they were told NO PICKLES? Second was that I had requested salt on my large fries - and yet my fries were surprisingly sparse on salt - not even a single salt package was provided either! Third was that I had requested specifically for there to be no ice in my lemonade - but upon receiving it I heard that the large drink was indeed half filled with ice. Finally to too things off, no receipt was found - not in the bag, not on the bag, nothing had been passed into my hand, nothing. I give this experience a one star. I'd go lower if I could. I love this place! When I was pregnant with our baby girl, I came to this location A LOT. One time, I was clumsy and accidentally dropped my fries. It was 100% my mistake, and they still gave me more fries without charging me. It was extremely classy, and made me an even more loyal customer to this location! Thank you! Also, I have never had a Chick-fil-A employee treat me or my service dog with disrespect; they've always been welcoming, and careful not to distract him from his duties. He's (of course) well-trained and quiet, so when he pops out from under the table when we're done it has surprised a few of the employees, and they've been so very kind. Knowing that we can come here for tasty food and without an issue means the world! read more

I can't believe I am saying this but chic-fil-a has officially lost my business. I am a red status member and this is the only fast food place I go but I will no longer be coming there. The last few times I went I've noticed something is always smaller. It started with the chicken then the buns then the bottom half of the box was smaller. I get the same thing every time and my girl friend gets the same thing and today when we both open our boxes we were both shocked the whole sandwich is now small and it costs the same!!!! She was SO rude! The boy who took my order in line told me to pay at the window since I had a gift card. The only thing I wish is that the pieces were a little bigger! When their waffle fries are fresh, they are so fantastically wonderful. They sell diet Dr Pepper which is a huge plus in my book. The owner/operator told me to leave before his store's 11:30 rush hour started because every table was a valuable profit center. So, don't eat here expecting to be valued, especially if you want to linger longer than management considers profitable to itself. So, actually, if you want to enjoy your meal, dine elsewhere. In my case, after five friends and I had finished breakfast there, I lingered over my coffee and computer getting some work done before I left for my next meeting. However, the actual operator told me that I HAD TO BE GONE before the lunch rush started at 11:30 because he needed to make money off my (and what had been my guests') table.
